Meat -- How to buy good meats! It used to be that you could go to a butcher and he would cut what you wanted and it would be clean and healthful, but that has changed. Today there are very few butchers and they are in specialty meat stores, not is big box stores. You will be surprised at the chemicals they are putting in or doing to meat today. This podcast will point out dangers in our meat supply and what to look for to prevent illness in our families. It will also explain about buying locally to get as healthy as possible when it comes to beef, chicken, and pork. "Better living through chemistry" is not a good option. Water and Coke There are two products (among many) that are not healthy. One is water from the public water supply (check out my Ezine -- newsletter for this week to see how to have healthy water or watch this site for a podcast in the near future) and all soft drinks. We as a nation are dehydrated from lack of water that causes disease. Unfortunately most people consume a large amount of soft drinks instead of water -- which is very unhealthy for many reasons. This podcast will explain some of the very bad things that are caused by soft drinks or explain chemical reactions that soft drinks do that are not healthy. Also remember the seven things that are very unhealthy that you should never do. Never eat the following things: 1. Dough nuts 2. Chips 3. Soft drinks 4. French fries 5. Sea food -- because most is contaminated with mercury, PCB's, and dioxin's 6. Macaroni -- most is extruded and the cheese is not cheese but a chemical substitute. 7. Pizza -- sauce and "meats" are loaded with MSG and hydrolyzed vegetable protein, and the dough has been stripped of all nutrition but the herbicides and pesticides have not been removed.
