Michele is an independent interior designer with her own boutique firm. Bayle & Co. interior design services opened in 2011, specializing in residential and light commercial design. Reflecting on her clients’ personality in her designs is important to Michele as she creates and curates the perfect space, balancing functionality, color, texture, and ambiance. Michele is also a licensed optician for 28 years – and counting – and owns her own eyewear boutique in Seattle. She volunteers for the organization VOSH, with which she travels to third-world countries bringing complete optical, including glasses, to remote villages. Michele’s passion for travel also brings a fresh and diverse eye to her designs. When she has a free hour or two on these volunteer trips, she seeks out women owned creative businesses. She purchases their wares then resells the curated items and gives a percentage of the proceeds back to these women, to give them an additional step up.
