Ainda posso assistir ao desfile das escolas de samba – o que é um privilégio – e conhecer gente nova nos camarotes e nas arquibancadas... Sim, conhecer gente nova é algo que também não faço há um tempão. E esse vai ser o meu primeiro carnaval solteiro, depois de quase quinze anos junto com minha ex, a Leonora. Lembro que, quando ela me deixou, eu fiquei fora de mim – o chão me faltou, eu não sabia o que fazer. Quis chorar a noite toda, mas não chorei, porque fiquei aturdido... Mas chega de lembrar de coisa ruim, não é mesmo? Agora estamos aqui, e mesmo não sendo mais jovem de corpo – já não aguento mais uma noitada como aguentava nos meus anos dourados – ainda sou jovem de espírito. Ainda dou para o gasto. Por isso, no carnaval, decidi que ia pintar e bordar. Fui a uma festa à fantasia que estavam organizando lá no condomínio. Sou um pouco retraído, mas pensei que era uma boa chance de mudar essa timidez arraigada na minha personalidade. Decidi me vestir de unicórnio. Duvidava que alguém mais tivesse cara de se vestir daquele jeito — nem eu mesmo sei como fiz aquilo, mas fui. E dei sorte. Conheci uma beldade fantasiada de galinha d'angola. Ela tinha pinta de artista ou coisa assim. Trocamos olhares, puxei conversa e logo estávamos agarradinhos. Depois de uns selinhos, ela pediu licença para ir ao banheiro. Minha nossa. Que mulher! Our story comes to a conclusion. Raner and his friends go their separate ways, and we get to learn a bit about how each of their stories end. Trouble, Abiil, Rhaesh, and Katrina all head back to The Gate. Things are a mess there, which creates lots of opportunities for them. Grorg and Eloise go to free Bathilda and reunite with the rest of her family. Leroy and Jonathan stop by Golden, thinking of Quis' legacy. Cuando estaban bien se olvidaban de Dios y comenzaban a adorar otros dioses. Por eso, Dios permitió que un enemigo se fortaleciera para que atacara a Israel como consecuencia de su infidelidad. Cuando se encontraban en problemas por causa de los enemigos y eran oprimidos clamaban a su Dios, al Dios de sus antepasados, y Dios levantaba a alguien del pueblo que los libraba con mano fuerte y lo lideraba durante el resto de vida de este líder. Este episodio de la historia de Israel es muy famoso porque fue un momento donde otra vez había un tiempo de crisis, donde el pueblo seguía con sus prácticas idolátricas y sin la bendición de Dios. Afortunadamente, Dios levantó a una mujer que estaba en medio del pueblo liderando para que se volvieran a Dios. En el momento de la prueba cuando se levantó otro opresor, Dios llamó a un hombre para que liberara al pueblo y peleara con valor porque Dios quería darle la victoria a Israel. En este caso, este hombre creyó en esta mujer respetada en el pueblo porque Dios le hablaba y le guiaba. Ella le dió la orden de Dios para que saliera contra el enemigo, pero él no se sentía completamente seguro y pidió que ella le acompañara y que juntos lideraran a Israel. Esta estrategia tendría una consecuencia y es que la gente no reconocería a Barac como el líder que los guió a la victoria, sino que sería ella la que sería reconocida. Barc tuvo miedo y necesitó un respaldo de autoridad para tener más confianza y pelear. Posiblemente esta fue una acción bonita para honrar a Débora, pero el mandato fue de que él liderara. Ya se habían levantado otros jueces anteriormente, pero cuando existe temor y miedo en el corazón, los hombres comienzan a ausentarse del rol que Dios les ha dado. Mañana veremos lo que una mujer puede hacer en las manos de Dios, pero hoy debemos reflexionar que el enemigo ha estado usando una estrategia diabólica hoy en día, pintando al hombre como alguien malo o innecesario en la sociedad. No permitamos que esa figura masculina se pierda en el hogar ni en nuestras congregaciones. Que ese rol del varón de pelear, de defender, de proteger, de proveer y de liderar no lo eliminemos del corazón del varón, sino que estimulemos estas virtudes en las siguientes generaciones, y que no se contaminen de las tendencias que se mueven en la actualidad.Que Dios use a muchas “Déboras” para que ayuden a fortalecer a los esposos, a sus hijos y jóvenes varones en nuestros hogares y congregaciones, a retomar su identidad masculina en tiempos de crisis de identidad que estamos viviendo hoy en día.Soy Eduardo Rodríguez. Há exatos 200 anos, no dia 7 de setembro de 1822, D. Pedro I proclamava, às margens do Rio Ipiranga, “independência ou morte''. Seu grito pela liberdade, que mais tarde ficou conhecido como Grito do Ipiranga, foi o momento em que o Brasil deixou de ser posse de Portugal para se tornar um império autônomo, com suas próprias regras e seu próprio imperador - que viria a ser o próprio D. Pedro I. Mas a data, apesar de simbólica, é só um marco dentro de um amplo processo histórico. A pressão pela separação de Brasil e Portugal já vinha se acumulando há anos, desde 1808, quando a corte portuguesa mudou-se para o Brasil, fugindo da ocupação de Napoleão Bonaparte. Com a vinda da família real, muita coisa mudou. Foi um momento de transformações culturais, sociais e econômicas muito grandes. Pouco depois, em 1815, D. João VI, pai de D. Pedro I, passou o Brasil da condição de colônia para um império de Portugal. E a decisão, claro, não agradou a corte portuguesa, que via seu domínio e controle cada vez menor sobre o que acontecia por aqui. Com a escalada de pressão e divergências entre os dois impérios, tudo culminou na formulação da declaração de Independência, por José Bonifácio.
