Todd McComas left a 21-year career as a detective with the Indiana State Police to pursue a career in standup comedy and podcasting. His standup has always featured incredible and hilarious stories from his own career as a detective and now he’s getting back to the business of crime. In season 1, Todd as features an unsolved quadruple murder, that he actually had some involvement with, known as The Burger Chef Murders. In season 2, he shifts to telling the story of infamous crimes and the people who committed them. Everything from fraud to murder. He draws from his own experience and knowledge, as a police detective, to offer insight and perspective into the criminal investigation and the criminals responsible.

Listeners of 10-41 with Todd McComas that love the show mention:The 10-41 with Todd McComas podcast is an absolute gem in the world of true crime podcasts. From the moment I started listening, I was hooked on Todd's unique brand of humor and his ability to connect with his guests on a deep level. The chemistry between Todd and his guests is truly unmatched, making for a captivating and entertaining listening experience.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Todd's willingness to continue growing his understanding of people. He approaches each interview with genuine curiosity and empathy, allowing his guests to share their stories in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. This creates a safe space for open dialogue and honest conversations, resulting in insightful and thought-provoking episodes.
Another standout aspect of The 10-41 with Todd McComas podcast is the quality of the interviews. Todd's interviewing skills are top-notch, as he knows exactly when to ask probing questions and when to let his guests speak freely. He has a knack for creating a comfortable atmosphere where guests feel comfortable sharing even the most difficult parts of their stories.
In terms of drawbacks, one could argue that sometimes the humor can overshadow the seriousness of certain topics. While Todd's humor adds a lighthearted touch to heavy subjects, there may be moments where listeners want more focus on the gravity of the cases being discussed.
Overall, The 10-41 with Todd McComas podcast is one that I highly recommend to anyone interested in true crime or simply enjoys engaging interviews. With its mix of humor, empathy, and expert storytelling, this podcast offers a unique perspective that keeps listeners coming back for more.
