She earned her BA at Oranim Academic College and the University of Haifa, and completed her MA and PhD in Talmud at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 1989, she established Israel's first secular, pluralistic, and egalitarian beit midrash, and in 1996 she founded ALMA: Home for Hebrew Culture in Tel Aviv, to bring secular Israelis closer to their textual heritage. In 2013, she was elected to the Knesset on the Yesh Atid list, where her opening speech—teaching Talmud from the Knesset floor—became a national sensation. Calderon has held fellowships at the Shalom Hartman Institute and served as a visiting professor at Harvard Law School. She has received numerous honors, including the Avi Chai Prize, the Samuel Rothberg Prize for Jewish Education, and honorary doctorates from Brandeis University, the Jewish Theological Seminary, and Hebrew College. Det er i sig selv en præstation, når man tænker på hvor hurtigt MMO-titler som Wildstar, Anthem og New World er bukket under. At sige at ESO har klaret sig godt ville være en underdrivelse.Selvom Elder Scrolls Online er en del af det ikoniske Elder Scrolls univers, hvor Skyrim stadig står som kronjuvelen, har ESO valgt sin egen vej. Doch der Konfliktforscher Daniel Möckli plädiert für strategischen Wandel und konkrete Taten. Die Grossmächte USA, China und Russland wollen die regelbasierte Weltordnung einreissen. Zudem kann sich Europa nicht mehr auf die Schutzleistungen aus den USA verlassen. Dies habe direkte Auswirkungen auf die Schweiz. Auch sie habe sich auf den Schutz der USA verlassen, die Schweiz sei daher heute schlechter geschützt. Nun müsse sie ihre Verteidigungsfähigkeit stärken und mit konkreten Taten sicherstellen, dass sie verlässliche Partner in Europa hat. Daniel Möckli leitet den Thinktank am Center for Security Studies der ETH Zürich und war vorher Chef der Politischen Planung im Aussendepartement EDA.
