Todd Kohlhepp was a successful real estate agent in upstate South Carolina. Covering his criminal past, he lied into a career that would otherwise be unavailable to him. In 2016, a US Army Veteran named Kala Brown went missing along with her boyfriend Charlie Carver. Eventually, her phone pinged at a rural 95 acre property owned by Kohlhepp. Law enforcement was stunned to discover Kala Brown chained up inside a shipping container belonging to Kohlhepp. Her boyfriend had been murdered two months earlier. Police were even more shocked when Kohlhepp admitted to 6 more unsolved murders. Today's Oddcast - The Amazon Review Killer (Airdate 3/18/2022) "Keep it in the car for when you have to hide the bodies..." Serial killer Todd Kohlhepp enjoyed writing reviews for the products he purchased on amazon.com...products very likely used in a crime spree that resulted his conviction for 7 counts of murder, 2 counts of kidnapping, and 1 count of sexual assault. Kohlhepp also loved to talk. And talk and talk and talk. During his police interrogations, he boasted about his technique and prowess. Chuckled ruefully at his repeated rape of a captive, calling himself a "hypocrite" for having sex with a woman he didn't find attractive. Kohlhepp is vile, violent, repugnant, and remorseless. But here's the thing: he comes off like just another blustery attention-seeking blowhard. Not all killers look like, well, killers. Kohlhepp didn't have a swastika carved into forehead like Charles Manson, but from early childhood, he was a walking (and constantly talking) giant red flag. And it all started so early: he was incarcerated at age 15 - with the judge who sentenced him declaring, "At less than the age of 9, this juvenile was impulsive, explosive, and preoccupied with sexual content...aggressive to others and destructive of property since nursery school." You gotta be careful out there - you just never really know who your neighbors are... if you're interested in taking a deeper dive: official interrogation video: https://youtu.be/cO1zSfIRjKs Kohlhepp interview with Phil Chalmers: https://youtu.be/l_qlPE0cwPs Kohlhepp's mother speaks: https://youtu.be/bDxzaO9JKsg local news coverage by CBS affiliate WSPA: https://youtu.be/wdp-sV042u8 Serial Killer: Devil Unchained https://www.amazon.com/Serial-Killer-Devil-Unchained-Season/dp/B07VBT5VL The Bob & Sheri Oddcast: Everything We Don't, Can't, Won't, and Definitely Shouldn't Do on the Show!

Very few people raise their hand and volunteer to do the tasks nobody else wants to do. But Robert Kohlhepp did just that. He started at Cintas 50 years ago with 60-odd employees and finished his career there with over 40,000 people. Robert has seen Cintas grow through its ups and downs, making his many years of experience and advice so much more valuable. Robert believes establishing compatibility, facing conflict head on, and being direct helps bring a company's culture to life. Much like a marriage, a company's principle objective, corporate characteristics, and management style need to be compatible with the individual in order to create value. Treating your customers and employees right while maintaining professionalism are some of the things that seem to be forgotten about in the midst of the constantly changing work environments. Listen on for some tips on the essentials of building an effective corporate culture and how to retain employees in this new world of work that we're in. About our guest: Robert J. Kohlhepp is the Retired Chairman of Cintas Corporation. He joined Cintas in July 1967 as controller. In this episode Steve and Robert discuss:One key trait for successful peopleCultivating a culture in your teamGetting people on board with company cultureDirectness for the sake of making other people better Key Takeaways: When you set yourself to do something, make it a matter of "when" it's going to be done and not "if" it's going to be done. The road to success is always under construction. There will always be an existing culture, the question you must ask as leaders is how are we defining the culture? It takes intentionality and investment to shape your company's culture. Tell somebody that if they don't follow the company culture, they're not gonna be happy and the company's not gonna be happy with them. Nobody wins in that situation. So give them a choice to get on board or step aside.Directness is for authentic leaders who genuinely care about people's growth. Being direct and being a difficult boss are two very different things. Once people realize that you are being direct for their sake, and that you are on their side, that's when they will begin to trust you and listen to your feedback. Criticize the behavior, not the individual. “In any endeavor, you're gonna get knocked down more than once. The people who are successful get back up, dust themselves off and get back in the game.” - Robert J. In this episode of the Crack House Chronicles, we have the privilege of interviewing Melissa Ponder Brackman whose husband Scott Ponder was brutally murdered by serial killer Todd Kohlhepp on November 6, 2003 at the Superbike Motorsports store in Chesnee, South Carolina. The other victims were Scott's fifty-two-year-old mother Beverly Guy, twenty-nine-year-old service manager Brian Lucas, and twenty-six-year-old mechanic Chris Sherbert. That afternoon, Scott's friend Noel spoke to him before he drove to the shop. About seven minutes later, Noel arrived at the store and found all four employees dead. Chris and Beverly were found in the back of the store, while Scott and Brian were found in the front. Each of them had been shot to death. https://crackhousechronicles.com/ Check out our MERCH! https://www.teepublic.com/user/crackhousechronicles Sponsors: https://betterhelp.com/chc If you use this link or or Promo Code CHC, BetterHELP will give you 10% off your first months bill.

Perhaps the journalists have come to the realisation that giving killers nicknames feeds their ego and spurs them on to even darker acts of depravity. Gone are the days of Son of Sam, The Zodiac Killer and Jack the Ripper. Our murderer has only been known as his given name; Todd Christopher Kohlhepp and he raped, tortured and murdered at least seven human beings. This is his saga, enjoy.

In this episode, I interview a new and increasing close brother in the Lord, Matthew Kohlhepp. Matthew has been a Christian for about three years, having grown up in a Christian home. Matthew is scheduled to start laboring for the Church of Jesus Christ with the ministry Campus Outreach, DC. He is a dear brother, who loves the Lord, understands the Gospel well, and desires to serve Jesus as a total man. It is always and great joy to see a young man receive the Holy Spirit of God and decide to give his life to the service of Him. We discuss the difficulties, expectations, joys, and vision of ministry, in particular, discipleship. What does it mean to Matt to disciple people for Christ, how can he prosper, and endear himself to those he desires to reach for Jesus Christ. We discuss many questions such as these as we proclaim the message of the greatest man who ever lived.

South Carolina serial killer Todd Kohlhepp confesses to the Superbike Motorsports mass murder. This is part 2 of "The Real Estate Agent." I suggest starting with part 1. It was a Thursday morning. Kohlhepp walked into the Superbike motorsports store and started scoping out the place. He’s not shopping for motorcycle. He’s looking for his next victims. Kohlhepp: "I got there. Not everybody was there. I went in sat on a few bikes, did my usual. Basically buying for time. And doing my best to make sure the paying customers are not there. Collateral damage is not cool. I chose a time when it was not busy. A time after work when I would have a lot of people in there. I did not want to shoot other people. Finally all four show up. From the sound of it nobody else was there." The four people Kohlhepp is referencing are Brian Lucas, Chris Sherbert, Scott Ponder, and Scott’s mother Beverly Guy. Investigator: "When you say all four?" Kohlhepp: "All the four people who work at the bike store. The mechanic, the mom. I was not going for the mom but she was there at the time. Working there. She was thrown into it. She was not a primary target." The store finally cleared. Kohlhepp was the only customer in the store. He tells one of the employees that he’s interested in a certain bike. Kohlhepp: "I cleared that room in under 30 seconds. You guys would have been proud. I’m sorry but you guys would have been proud." This was the crime Kohlhepp got away with. Nobody was looking for him. Why would he confess?
