FM Music Show #094 Pretty Privilege @prettyprivilege instagram.com/pretty___privilege/ Artwork by Daniel Rajcsanyi instagram.com/danielrajcsanyi @parisboehm

After climax, we drift apart like particles shot into dierent galaxies. A soft 'thanks, bye' echoes where seconds before there was fire. It's the familiar choreography of a gay bathhouse, a darkroom, a fleeting connection in the shadows: passion distilled into its purest, most concentrated form - intense, wordless, immediate. It's consumed in the present tense. Volatile. Electric. Already dissolving while it happens. Yet something remains. In these brief collisions, we exchange more than touch. We take a fragment of each other - a scent, a memory, a vibration under the skin - and we leave behind a piece of ourselves, surrendered without promise of return. There's something profoundly romantic in that surrender. Something communal. A silent agreement between bodies: we meet, we merge, we let go. No future. No past. Only now. ' 'Longing (and) Dissolving' has a voyeuristic edge, as if you're tuning into intimate sexual whispers between interlocked lovers. Deep, booming, muscular house kicks fade in and out of earshot, heavy breathing turns up the heat, and sexual tension drips from every beat. 'Hungry for Presence' bottles up the rush of a sexual encounter with zippy synths darting about like furtive eyeballs in a crowded space. Clipped drums power on as sweat forms on the brow and acid arrives to take you to ecstasy - it's unadulterated house filth for throbbing dancefloors. Artwork by Daniel Rajcsanyi

Delicate Features return to us with a beautifully beguiling blend of folk, electronica, and heavenly melodic escape, Their latest EP comes with artwork by Daniel Rajcsanyi Pavel Diakov and Radmila Nikogosian, the duo behind Delicate Features, are London-based and allow their Armenian-Georgian roots to speak through their music. Since making their debut in 2012, they have released on this label as well as Cellar Tapes and Not Not Fun Records, always exploring immersive soundscapes that invite listeners deep into their world. Their music is a majestic mix of trip-hop, new age, medieval lament, and ambient reverie. They have cited Latvian folk songs, funereal black metal, Muslimgauze, and metaphysics as inspiration before, and they have now again created a stirring sound world with this new EP. The blissful 'Memory Gardens' is a quiet yet bright mix of smeared vocals, gentle harmonics, and found-sound percussion, riding sparse, broken beats that transfix body and mind. 'Teenage Lightning' is an ascent to the stars on rising synth loops that glisten and glow with a cathartic, escapist effect. The gorgeous 'In Bloom' is a painterly sound, with heat-emitting chords, gently bubbly, rubbery drums, and choral vocals that slowly swirl around in a heavenly nebula. It's a restorative sound with an angelic soul and 'Error Screens' agains hypnotises with liquid melodies, glossy synth repeats and churchy architecture that feels profound. It's a seamless mix of the organic and the synthetic with a mathematical charm that moves body and soul. 'Old Brook' is a quiet lament - an ambient soundscape for late-night reflection and emotional rebirth.

Swiss-based American Olive T previously contributed to our Queer Base compilation and has also released on Permanent Vacation and Nervous while making appearances on Moxies NTS Show and Tim Sweeneys Beats in Space. Her mantra is lets get weird, and that plays out in her characterful sounds which always come with musical narrative but plenty of surprises. Opener Gorgeous is an emotionally charged yet raw house sound with powerful drums and weighty kicks. A blend of whispered sounds, vocal coos and muttered words bring a real human intimacy next to rolling bass and chords that are quietly celebratory. The wonderful Not A Dyke is just as evocative, though it rolls on dubby, more roomy drums. That allows the swirling pads to swell your heart and the tender vocals to marble the groove to dreamy effect. Add in some sugary synth arps, and you have another impossibly warm and loved-up house sound. Cover artwork comes courtesy of Daniel Rajcsanyi https://soundcloud.com/olivetonic

FM Music Show #086 Valley Dolly - Sisters instagram.com/valleydolly_ soundcloud.com/valleydolly Artwork by Daniel Rajcsanyi @parisboehm instagram.com/danielrajcsanyi

Producer, DJ and songwriter TiZiAN is a key part of the family and the wider Stuttgart scene. As well as being a resident at Romantica, he has also appeared on Radio 80000. He is the frontman and singer for cold wave and NewWaveGrungecoreRomance band Lay Me Next to Her Bones, who just dropped a new EP on his own label, while he also explores hip-hop crossover ideas under the Smooth Ghul alias. The opener Follow To Fall is an emotional blend of melancholic pads and yearning vocal snippets over jungle breaks that hit hard. Its a workout for both mind and body with a devastating bassline, while Make You Mine is a heartbroken mix of spoken word regret and sustained synths full of lament. Its a poignant, arresting sound that traps you tightly. The fantastic Away From You layers up heavy broken beats and crunchy hits with a musical bassline, exotic strings and glassy percussion. Its another bold blend of potent drums but tender chords that hit a sombre tone hard. Closer Workme (Friday on ma Mind) takes off on more bold, punchy drums, this time with brighter and more optimistic melodies circling up top next to chopped vocals and a nagging bassline that combine in unique fashion. As with all our releases, the artwork comes courtesy of Daniel Rajcsanyi.

FM Music Show #084 CYRK - Essence instagram.com/cyrkmusic soundcloud.com/cyrkmusic Artwork by Daniel Rajcsanyi @parisboehm instagram.com/danielrajcsanyi

Hardware obsessives CYRK have previously been remixed by label head Jorkes and contributed a standout track to Queer Base vol.2 back in Spring. With those and other releases they have fomented a signature sound that blends techno with Italo. It draws on their skills in the live arena as well as a deep-rooted chemistry and love for rave music in all its forms. Superb opener Peek A Boo is a love-drenched sound with bright Italo melodies and smeared pads. There is widescreen cosmic energy in the melodies while the dusty mid-tempo house drums bounce at an inviting pace. New Millenium is another retro-future trip to the stars with a mix of bright, busy keys and more rugged synth lines. The drums are snappy and tinged with early Chicago rawness, which means that this classy and emotive party starter makes a real impact. The magical and bubbly Euphoria is a more serene sound with thought-provoking chords suspending you above the analogue drums and acid-tinged bassline as wispy melodies bring things to life in HD colour. FM Music Show #080 DJ Handbag - Love Triangle instagram.com/handbag_dj/ soundcloud.com/handbag_dj Artwork by Daniel Rajcsanyi @parisboehm instagram.com/danielrajcsanyi Bio: "☆ DJ handbag, a cornerstone of Berlin's vibrant nightlife and a driving force behind its queer scene, is now taking center stage as a DJ. Her sets are a radiant celebration of queer and trans femme energy, meticulously curated to ignite dancefloors with pure joy and fierce empowerment. Drawing from her roots in former @durchparty collective and now @oozecollective , DJ handbag crafts an eclectic mix that's as fierce as it is fun, blending handbag, hardbag, and hard house with the pulsating rhythms of UK garage. Infused with the glamorous flair of diva house and dreamy, ethereal undertones, her soundscapes transcend the ordinary, creating a space where music becomes both a refuge and a rallying cry. Political and unapologetically queer, each set is a love letter to the global underground, wrapped in groovy vibes that make every night a euphoric journey of self-expression and liberation..

FM Music Show #078 Dj Ebhardy - Help Me Release The Beat instagram.com/ebhardy/ @ebhardy Artwork by Daniel Rajcsanyi @parisboehm instagram.com/danielrajcsanyi

The second edition of this vital series features world-renowned talents such as Benjamin Fröhlich, Venice Arms aka Curses, Massimiliano Pagliara, Zombies in Miami, label founder Jorkes, and many more. Queer Base is a charity in Vienna that offers social and legal counselling to LGBTQI+ refugees who arrive in Austria, including providing help with court cases, finding housing, community events, organising German lessons, HIV/STI testing, and more. Further details can be found at https://queerbase.at/. This tastefully curated selection traverses the electronic spectrum in style. Polygonia opens with supple and trippy minimal on 'Cheeky Seduction' and things build through dubby, stripped-back analogue grooves from HCL, typically bright, jacked-up, and synth-heavy sounds from Massimiliano Pagliara on 'Distant Memory' and retro-future disco-house from Benjamin Fröhlich. CYRK's 'Fade 2 Gay' is a slow-motion and moody dark disco chugger before Gunce Aci picks it up with some skyward arps and slap-funk drums on 'Whatever It Takes.' Elsewhere Zombie Affair, aka Zombies in Miami & Mystery Affair, offer the body-popping electro-disco of 'Girl, You Got Me', Panooc's 'Pellucid' is a throwback and sensual vocal house cut and Lydia Eisenblätter brings all out piano house joy to 'What Is Love' before the closer from Mala Ika is another celebratory cut full of hands in the air synths and joyous drums. This compilation is not only an essential listen but also an essential project that highlights and supports the vital work undertaken by Queer Base. The artwork was created by label creative powerhouse Daniel Rajcsanyi, and the LP was mastered by Blackheadstudios.

Elsewhere Zombie Affair, aka Zombies in Miami & Mystery Affair, offer the body-popping electro-disco of 'Girl, You Got Me', Panooc's 'Pellucid' is a throwback and sensual vocal house cut and Lydia Eisenblätter brings all out piano house joy to 'What Is Love' before the closer from Mala Ika is another celebratory cut full of hands in the air synths and joyous drums.
