Possibly, the saddest twist of human existence is the failure of most individuals to recognize their inherent divine nature. Followed closely by the heartbreak of people glomming onto external concepts of the divine instead of dwelling within their personal divinity. In the West, where I am a dwelling deity, it is ingrained culturally that we are born unworthy because we are saddled with a sin nature. A curse passed from generation to generation to generation, originating when the first humans were unjustly punished for committing an act they could not possibly know was wrong to do. It is a form of mental prison that kills logical, rational thought. As is apropos, coming from an evil god concept that would punish others for the imaginary breaches of arbitrary rules and regulations.

Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comToday I'm honored to introduce you all to: Ritual Abuse, Military Mind Control, and Organized Abuse survivor, thriver, and whistleblower, loving mother, writer, painter, and graphic artist, daydreamer of publishing her own book one day, content creator, nature lover, 12-step fellowship and survivor support group participant, and a courageous warrioress bringing a light to the darkness that is RAMCOA: Mary SparrowHere's a little bit about Mary and what you can expect to hear about on today's episode: From the moment of Mary's birth, the world seemed to mark her path with eerie precision. Taken from her mother for weeks in the hospital, Mary entered a home where love and terror intertwined like tangled roots. Her father's sexual abuse began in her earliest years, and her mother's verbal and physical outburstswere born of unresolved trauma. By age four, she was pulled into a child sex trafficking network in the New York City area, subjected to ritual abuse, pedophile exploitation, pornography, and sophisticated military mind control programming designed to fracture the mind and silence the spirit. Yet even then, a quiet fire burned within her, she carried an inner knowing that refused to be extinguished. She moved through more schools and homes than she had fingers to count growing up, and her mother's courageous departure from her father at Mary's age ten-and-a-half ripped the family across the Atlantic to Ireland, then back to Chicago and beyond. That escape ended the trafficking and ritual horrors - but the “discard programming” left behind was ruthless, programming her toward self-destruction. In her late teens, twenties, and thirties, Mary battled intense PTSD - she nearly fulfilled her abusers' darkest wish - to live and die in their invisible cage of fear.Yet Mary did not break. In her early forties, incest memories surfaced in gentle fragments while she immersed herself in twelve-step recovery. Journaling, intuitive drawing, painting, and nature's embrace became her anchors. Motherhood to her beloved daughter awakened a wellspring of unconditional love, guiding her to build the joyful childhood she herself had been denied. Twelve-step fellowships, with their raw honesty, humor, and community, became her lifeline. Therapy with compassionate professionals, and holistic healing unlocked layers of release. Most powerfully, she found her tribe: other ritual abuse and mind control survivors who became her life-line and family she never had.Today, Mary stands as a beacon of hard-won triumph. She lives with joy that once seemed impossible. She speaks out - not for fame, but for love. For the friends lost too young to the same traumas. For the truth that sets captives free. For every soul still trapped in fear's cage. “My abusers wanted me silent and broken,” she exclaims. “I choose to roar with light.” Her voice honors the vulnerable, dismantles the darkness of ritual abuse and mind control, and empowers survivors everywhere to reclaim their power. But Mary is so much more than her survival - she is a vibrant, whole woman whose passions paint the world in color. She writes almost daily, dreaming of the book that will one day carry her truth to thousands. Art flows through her fingers in drawings and paintings born of intuition. Music stirs her soul. Nature remains her sacred cathedral. And in twelve-step fellowships and survivor support circles, she finds profound connection, giving and receiving the healing power of shared vulnerability.Mary's testimony is not merely one of endurance - it is a statement to every survivor, every silenced voice, every heart that has known darkness: You areSupport the show

No Brasil, o jan/35 abriu 10 bps, o Ibovespa subiu 3,03% e o real valorizou 1,47%. Why Most Practice Doesn't Work (And How to Fix It)

Steve Stine Guitar Podcast

Send Steve a Text MessageNoodling feels like practice until you realize you're getting the same results month after month. We sit down and get blunt about what actually creates progress on guitar: a plan that matches your real schedule, plus the discipline to practice with intention and focus. We walk through how we think about a guitar practice routine when time is limited. The big shift is moving from “I should practice scales” to specific targets you can measure, like learning one scale position clearly, improving left and right hand synchronization, or fixing a weak finger with the right strength and stamina drills. We also talk about the difference between maintenance, elevation, and regression, and why doing the same comfortable stuff can keep you stuck even when you're playing every day. Then we use guitar soloing and improvisation as the example framework. We start with fretboard visualization so you can actually see the scale shapes, roots, and connections, including ideas many players learn through the CAGED system. From there we build skill and navigation so your fingers can move smoothly instead of getting “boxy” and lost. Finally we make it musical: picking backing tracks in the right key and tempo, using scat singing to invent rhythms, turning grooves into phrasing, controlling dynamics and space, and adding vocal tools like bends, vibrato, slides, hammer-ons, and pull-offs so the notes sound valid to a listener. If you want a clearer roadmap for guitar practice, better phrasing, and more confident solos, listen now, then share it with a friend who's stuck and leave a review. What part of your practice feels most scattered right now? Thanks for being here!! No Brasil, o jan/31 abriu 68 bps, o Ibovespa caiu 4,99% e o real desvalorizou 2,16%. O petróleo subiu 36%, e o DXY valorizou 1,29%.

Send Steve a Text MessageStuck playing the same licks but not getting better? This conversation maps a clear path from autopilot to intentional practice so your limited time turns into visible progress and real confidence on the fretboard. We unpack how to set precise goals, track your growth, and build pillars of skill that stack into the kind of player you actually want to be.We start by separating maintaining from improving, then show how to convert vague aims like “learn scales” into exact targets such as clean alternate picking through pentatonic position one at a set tempo. From chord transitions that ring true to timing that locks with a click, we focus on micro goals you can measure. You'll hear practical tactics: slow practice to expose flaws, isolation drills to fix them, and short recording check-ins to keep you honest. We also talk daily structure—why warm-ups are maintenance, not growth—and how to theme practice days around technique, creativity, theory, or fretboard visualization.Overwhelm is a real blocker, so we tackle information overload and the myth that you must learn everything at once. If your next milestone is expressive blues, you don't need sweeps tomorrow; you need bend intonation, vibrato, and note targeting over I–IV–V. We walk through using the CAGED system to see the neck, connecting shapes with purpose, and planning backward from your 90‑day goal. Then we fit it all to your time budget with a simple loop: define, drill, apply, reflect. When you focus on less, you progress more—and motivation follows. If you're ready to turn practice into proof, hit play and bring a notebook. No Brasil, o jan/29 fechou 31 bps, o Ibovespa subiu 1,40% e o real valorizou 0,42%. A prata caiu 17,80% e o petróleo subiu 7,66%.

In this conversation, I speak with Barry Jones, an ice hockey coach based in Australia who works with the Perth Inferno Women's team. Barry shares his remarkable journey from working with people with disabilities to enbracing the principles of ecological dynamics and aplying them with an eleite level team where his team has just 45 minutes per week to train whilst competing interstate. Three Key Takeaways:Autonomy carries emotional weight: Barry discovered that when athletes transition from being controlled to becoming autonomous decision-makers, they begin to wear failure personally. This emotional shift requires coaches to understand the psychological safety needed when athletes are learning to become independent thinkers, particularly with athletes who may have been conditioned to wait for coach direction.'Environmental sports' shape how games are played: Barry introduces the concept of "environmental sports"—the idea that sports reflect the cultural and sporting environment they're played in. Ice hockey in Australia is influenced by AFL, basketball, and cricket, creating a different flavour of the game compared to Canada or the US. Understanding these sociocultural constraints is crucial for effective coaching. If you're comfortable, you're not learning: Barry's coaching philosophy centres on creating productive discomfort through battle games with time constraints. Rather than flow drills where players rehearse scripted movements, every training task places athletes in decision-making situations that mirror game pressures. This approach demands that both athletes and coaches feel uncomfortable in their learning.Join The Guild of Ecological Explorers to dive deeper into conversations like this and connect with practitioners exploring constraints-led approaches in their own contexts. When the artist Jennie C. Jones listens closely to a piece of music, she's particularly attuned to its pauses, in-between moments, and breaks. Widely celebrated for her abstract works in painting, sculpture, and sound art that, in many instances, incorporate architecture or space—through which she often elevates undersung or little-known Black artists and musicians—her practice is largely informed by minimalism and color field painting, as well as by jazz and avant-garde music. Jones currently has two exhibitions on view at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation in St. Louis (through Feb. 1, 2026): “A Line When Broken Begins Again,” which features a selection of new and existing paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and sound pieces, and “Other Octaves,” a group show she curated of works by artists who have been formative to her practice. She was also commissioned to create the 2025 rooftop installation at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.On this episode of Time Sensitive, she discusses what listening as a conceptual practice looks like in action, the art of putting together a playlist, and her deep love of things tactile and analog.Special thanks to our Season 12 presenting sponsor, Van Cleef & Arpels.Show notes: [04:35] “Jennie C. Send Steve a Text MessageYour solos don't have to sound like scale drills. We dive into chord chasing—the practical way to switch your note choices with each chord—and show how a handful of smart targets can transform C–G–Am–F into a melodic story. Instead of sprinting across the fretboard, we stay in one position, highlight the notes that define each chord, and reveal how separate pentatonic shapes fuse into the full C major scale. We start by mapping C, G, A minor, and F to their matching pentatonics, then focus on overlap points so you can pivot smoothly without losing your place. You'll hear why chord tones do the heavy lifting, how to pick one or two anchor notes that actually sound like the harmony, and when to use shared tones as subtle bridges. To sharpen your ear and control, we raise the stakes with a non‑diatonic twist: inserting E major before F. You'll learn two ways to handle it—shift your pentatonic shape back a fret or keep common tones as glue—while always landing cleanly on the next chord.Along the way we contrast long‑term fretboard vision—CAGED, triads, and shape awareness—with short‑term execution, where you choose a simple target and make it sing. We include a backing track and demonstrate three passes: a rigid, mapped version; a looser exploration; and a musical take that prioritizes space, tone, and resolution. If you've ever wondered how pentatonic fragments add up to diatonic fluency, or how to make fewer notes say more, this walkthrough gives you a clear, repeatable path.Ready to turn shapes into songs?
