Today we have the brilliant Joyce Gilmer on the show. She is a lawyer and an advocate for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.Joyce recognizes the limitations our society attempts to put on women and those deemed not rich enough to care about (throw away) leading her to study criminal law for prosecution and defense with a serious focus on policy reformation and execution so some matters never become an arrestable life changing event while other issues get true restorative justice for victims and assailants. Presently, Joyce is working with the top financial institutions and supervising attorneys on federal regulations for compliance adherence while building internal mechanisms to avoid the pitfalls of failing consumer protections. Joyce is working hard on becoming a future expat having an eye to visit the Motherland for at least one year before settling on the best place for her.
