In today's episode, Jackie dives deep into the energetic practices behind her upcoming launch and shares why focusing on these energetic elements can change the game for your business. Episode Highlights: The Power of Energetics in Launches: Jackie explains how the energy and belief you bring to your launches can shape your outcomes. While systems are helpful, it's the energetic alignment that makes all the difference. Valuing Your Work to Reflect its Worth: Hear about Jackie's recent tapping session, where she uncovered how deeply valuing her own work impacts how others perceive it. By setting boundaries and structures around your expertise, you create an “ecosystem of abundance” that invites admiration and respect. Visualization & Tapping Techniques: Jackie discusses how tapping can guide you through powerful visualizations that reveal subconscious beliefs, allowing you to clear blocks and step into the energy needed for success. “Life is Images of the Mind Expressed”: Inspired by A Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron Gikandi, Jackie explores how imagination is the driving force behind manifesting the life you want. “The way you see money is about the way you see yourself and your lived experiences.” Dr. Darnyelle Jervey Harmon Ever find yourself saying things like "all money is not good money?" If you've said this, you might be experiencing a trauma response to money. According to Google, Money Trauma is defined this way: a term that describes emotional, cognitive, relational, and physical symptoms that can result from significant financial stressors. Some examples of money trauma include poverty, financial co-dependency, divorce, sudden loss of assets, housing insecurity, money scarcity, caregivers who valued work more than family time, caregivers who taught that money success was the only worthy metric of success. The truth is money, which is a tool, medium of exchange and transactional energetic expression is neutral - it is neither good or bad. But, based on your experiences and what you have been taught to believe you might think is bad or evil and as a result experience what some call money trauma. When I first became an entrepreneur, I used to hear constantly “entrepreneurs solve problems for profit.” The challenge for me back then was that I hadn't ever experienced profit. I was born in lack to lack-minded drug addicts and when given a chance to have my own money, the lack I was born into seeped into my own money management. It took filing bankruptcy and the bankruptcy trustee requiring that I take a financial literacy course where I was exposed to Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron Gikandi. That book changed my life and the way I saw money and therefore myself. It was the beginning of my journey to heal my money traumas and the subsequent trauma responses that are quips and axioms used by most of the people you know every day without understanding the real consequences of speaking such things over themselves. Literally one year after filing bankruptcy, I was a millionaire and a few years later I was running a million-dollar business. Today, I am a proud, unapologetic multi-millionaire running a multi-million-dollar company. While I am not a mental health professional and I do not play one on TV, it is my hope that this episode spurs a desire in you to determine which trauma responses you're believing and living so that you can disrupt the pattern and shift your life and business around money. Let's be clear: money matters. It's hard to be the change when you don't have any. And until lack to loosens its grip on your conscious and subconscious mind, beliefs, thoughts and actions, you will mess with your money and that will make it challenging to achieve your goal to make the move to millions. In this episode, we get into the meaning of a lack/poverty mindset, which for the record is not about how much money you actually have. It's about how you relate to money. I have seen wealthy people experience trauma responses that stops its money from doing what it was created to do – flow and create more. If you are ready to confront the casual covenants you make with money so that you can invite more into your life and business, grab your Move to Millions Podcast notebook and listen in to discover: The 4 Money Personalities and how they impact how you relate to money A simple formula for forgiveness around money related traumas Actionable insights into what you can do now to experience a powerful shift Why many of the things you say about money is impacting how much money flows to you And so much more Powerful Quotes During the Episode: "Spending behaviors are often influenced by an individual's upbringing and beliefs about money." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Spenders seek validation through extravagant possessions and equate them with self-worth." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon “Avoiders are uncomfortable with money details and may not track their financial status." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon Money monks are generous but struggle with their own self-worth, often raised in environments where money is viewed negatively." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon Self-reflection is crucial to recognize and shift one's money personality and mindset." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "The subconscious mind influences money beliefs and patterns based on early experiences." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Beliefs like 'all money is not good money' and 'I just need enough' can be trauma responses impacting one's relationship with money." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Valuing oneself and charging what one deserves is essential in business." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Trauma responses can manifest as resistance to investing in oneself or feeling undeserving of financial abundance." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "It's important to review and release money traumas, activate a multimillion-dollar vision, and shift tolerance and capacity." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Rewire the money blueprint, release money patterns from cellular memory, and embody an energy of abundance." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Common money blocks include unworthiness, lack mindset, fear of abandonment, fear of success, and unforgiveness." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Forgiveness is crucial in unblocking the flow of money to experience abundance." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon "Millions are your birthright and can be accessed through movement." - Darnyelle Jervey Harmon Resources Mentioned: Move to Millions by Dr. Darnyelle Jervey Harmon – Get Your Copy Companion Guide for Move to Millions – Download for a detailed overview of the seven systems to seven figures. In this week's episode, Lucy and I are talking about visualisation.David Cameron Gikandi wrote that “life is images of the mind expressed”, and he isn't the only one who believes / believed that everything starts in our imagination. There are multiple scientific studies that show how visualising can be an incredibly powerful tool when it comes to bringing the things we desire into our lives.Like anything else, it's a practice, and one that Lucy and I both find quite hard. But if we can hold a vision of what we want in our minds, and take a few minutes every day to allow our imagination to wander, then we're training our brains to be on the lookout for the people, opportunities and circumstances that can help us get to where we want to go.We hope you'll find something useful in here!Love,Polly & Lucy xSupport the Show.To find out more about Just Breathe and to join the Just Breathe community go to: https://www.pollywarren.com/justbreatheTo book a FREE 15 minute discovery call with me go to: https://calendly.com/pollywarrencoaching/15minTo join my FB group go to: https://www.facebook.com/groups/thepositiveperimenopauseclubEmail me at: info@pollywarren.comhttps://www.pollywarren.com/https://www.instagram.com/pollywarrencoaching/

The Catalyst: Sparking Creative Transformation in Healthcare
In a world where wealth is often measured in material terms, Dr. Lara Salyer invites us to consider a deeper, more personal definition in this episode of The Catalyst Podcast. Sparked by a TikTok video that reminisces about childhood indicators of wealth, Dr. Salyer urges us to reflect on perceptions that may have shaped our understanding of wealth. She suggests that just as we periodically reassess our health, our ingrained beliefs about money and success might also require a fresh perspective! Wealth, as Dr. Salyer presents it, is a multifaceted concept. She shares her own experiences of finding richness in life's simple joys, like the comfort of her own space and the liberty to align her medical practice with her personal ethos. Because money mindset is so important, within Dr. Salyer's mentorship, The Catalyst Studio, Financial Fridays are dedicated to supporting functional and holistic practitioners to challenge, explore and be aware of their money stories. To inspire a reimagined approach to wealth, Dr. Salyer regularly recommends transformative reads, including "Happy Money" by Ken Honda, “Happy Pocket Full Of Money” by David Caperon Gikandi, and “Playing Big” by Tara Mohr. In closing, Dr. Salyer invites a shift in focus from financial accumulation to nurturing well-being and self-expression, personal fulfillment and joy. Quotes: • “A quote that really resonated with me is ‘Some people are so poor that all they have is money.” (4:14 | Dr. Lara Salyer) • “Wealth has become blown out of proportion and this is why I was diligent in making sure we had financial Fridays inside my mentorship, the Catalyst Studio. And my favorite thing is these “Financial Fridays” now where we unpack the idea of wealth and all the behavior around it. Are you hoarding it? Do you have a scarcity mindset? Do you spend it as soon as you get it because you're not sure when you'll get more? And there's all these things to unpack. And this is wonderful.” (5:17 | Dr. Lara Salyer) • “Wealth isn't just about money or financial need. It's also about how your energy is spent. How your energy is curated again and recharged.” (10:21 | Dr. Lara Salyer) Links Happy Money by Ken Honda: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MJHJ57T?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_QFR6QY5ZAXP2NXTHCFMR Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron Gikandi: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1571747362?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_HK64JTF2PDMT2QHF9MCS Playing Big by Tara Mohr: https://www.amazon.com/Playing-Big-Practical-Wisdom-Create/dp/1592409601 Connect with Lara: Mentorship: https://drlarasalyer.com/catalyst Archetype Quiz: https://3nb09zv7070.typeform.com/archetype Website: https://drlarasalyer.com The Catalyst Way: https://drlarasalyer.com/catalyst Instagram: @drlarasalyer Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/drlarasalyer Linked-In: https://www.linkedin.com/in/drlarasalyer/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/DrLaraSalyer TikTok: @Creativity.Doctor Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm

This won't be the first time Claire touches on the importance of visualization when it comes to manifesting an epic romantic relationship, but now you have a WHOLE EPISODE on the importance of visualization, and more specifics on what your practice could look like.An inspired quote she shares several times throughout the episode is from David Cameron Gikandi's book, A Happy Pocket Full Of Money."When I willingly go where my most desired imaginings take me, I become a creative force that no limits."Visualization really is the key ingredient in your manifestation recipe, that Claire herself admits, she sometimes puts off when working on creating future goals. It's also something she sees her clients regularly resist doing. But she is back in her visualization regimen as of late, and is truly seeing the power of connecting energetically to her goals every day.Prior episode references:Too Negative For Love?My Heartbreak StoryYour Morning Healing/Love Manifestation Routine

"When we can impact how our referral sources feel about us, and how I want them to feel about me or feel about you… we then earn the opportunity to direct how they think." "When you give a referral, your reputation goes with it every single time, and if the referral goes wrong, it is on you to help make it right." Summer, my husband just sat down on the couch again with a beer to watch hockey, and all I want to do is pour old baby formula into his new Nikes. I know, honey. It's a J.O.B. and a half to find anything hopeful when you're drowning in this ocean of MEH and worse than MEH- full on pain. BUT- as a goddess in the making, as the beautiful human that you are, endowed with consciousness, imagination, self-awareness and agency, you can do better. It's already within you. The VERY FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE is energy which can be influenced by the state of your mind and heart. These particles of energy can travel across space and time and create beautiful new realities. Decide, right now, that you have the marriage of your dreams. Summer? Couch? Hockey? Beer? Remember? I know, but somewhere, somehow, veiled by defense mechanisms, male bravado, and Bud Light, is the sentiment and responsiveness you've been longing for. So believe that it exists, and then treat him as if he's got it. Then watch how he responds. Even if he resists, you'll be much happier feeling, acting on and expecting love, than you would be feeling disgusted with him. If you feel as if you're already giving all the love you can muster, and he's just not responding, message me and let's do a spot check on your game plan. You deserve all the love and happiness you can hold ❤️

I don't know about you, but when I was a little girl I dreamed of being a professional dancer. Obviously that didn't pan out, but for Kelli Youngman it did. Kelli started dancing at the age of three and never quit. Listen as she shares her story of building confidence and learning to believe in herself. Kelli started dancing when her mom took her and her sister to a mommy and me dance class, and now she's a Broadway performer who has traveled the world performing in several productions. Rejuvenated Women: Impeccable Health for High Performing Women
Have you ever failed at something? I certainly have. And while it wasn't fun to go through, it has allowed me to grow, learn and evolve into the person, practitioner, and human that I am today. However, for many, the prospect or experience of failure will stop them in their tracks, keep them stuck, or play small when they are capable of so much more. Today I unpack and reframe how we approach failure and dive into how failure is actually necessary for our success. This applies to any area of life, and I share from some of my own experiences with failure that I haven't talked about so transparently before. The book I mention and read a quote from is A Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron Gikandi. "Most people have been programmed to fear failure. They give up to avoid failure, or they do not even attempt just so that they will not fail. Failure, however is an illusion. Through failure, you learn how to succeed. By trying and failing, you refine your thought and point it closer to success. But this is only if you do not give up." -David Cameron GikandiTEXT "DAILY" to 512-548-2422 for my morning LOVE NOTESA Happy Pocket Full of Money: Infinite Wealth and Abundance in the Here and Now by David Cameron Gikandi on AmazonBook Synopsis: True wealth is not about buckets of cash. True wealth is not about designer clothes. It is not about a new Mercedes. True wealth, asserts David Gikandi, is about discovering value within yourself and value within other people. It is about a kind of conscious living that incorporates gratitude, a belief in abundance, and the experience of joy.

Key Quotes: “I view a leader [as] someone who leads themselves before they lead anybody else. It starts with you.” - Nicole Laino “A lot of times, there's so much noise out there. And there are so many people telling you that this is the way this is the only way. We end up doing things that don't feel good. And then we can't be consistent with it because there's a part of us yelling at us from the inside, saying, this is not where we're supposed to go, this is not what we're supposed to do, you should find your zone of genius, you should stay in your lane in that way, there's a lot you can do in the lane of your zone of genius. ” - Nicole Laino “Whatever your excuses are, are your beliefs. If that is the ultimate truth that you believe, then every day inside of you, in your subconscious, you're actually saying that you can't be successful. So we have to shift that belief in order for you to show up differently.” - Nicole Laino Resources https://www.amazon.com/Happy-Pocket-Money-Expanded-Study/dp/1571747362 (A Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron Gikandi) https://www.amazon.com/Untethered-Soul-Journey-Beyond-Yourself/dp/1572245379 (The Untethered Soul by Michael A. How to Become a Manifesting MoFo in 3 Easy Steps The universe moves its own building blocks – quantum particles – around depending on the information it receives and the certainty of that information. It is as scientific as it is spiritual. - David Cameron Gikandi This stuff works. I mean it. My method for manifesting great things in my life has been created by me using a mishmash of a bunch of stuff I have learned from quantum physics, Abraham Hicks, and my day-to-day strategies. This stuff takes discipline and it can be outrageously fun. In fact, if I wake up grumpy, low, or discouraged, I do this process because it completely changes my state. I completely changed. I do this exact process probably 5 x per week. It works amazingly well. And the things I want to create in my life are showing up and are showing up with greater and great speed. The kinds of things I have manifested are: I have balanced financial circumstances allowing me to be in expanded service and prosperity while my assets and I grow; saving funds; generating income. Life-changing refinance. My days are freed up - I am free to focus on writing, marketing, expanding, and creating (ooooh, so close). I have sorted out a personal Profit First method for reducing past expenditures; I have the confidence and structure to pay everything down and create a lasting and abundant and prosperous future. An honorable separation agreement with my ex-husband. 2 great road trips to the East Kootenays! I live in co-housing. This is what I want for you too. Now, remember, you don't have to believe in ANY of this stuff to have it work, -- Just like gravity, whether you believe in it or not, it works. I used this very technique to transform my life and create some very cool experiences. The universe/quantum field/ etc. is really made up of thinking stuff. Some people call that thinking stuff God, some call it Allah, some call it the Universe, and others call it the Quantum Field. Regardless of your belief system, science has proven it exists. The law of attraction works. The problem is most people have zero idea about how to make it work effectively. I challenge you to do this exact process for 60 days in a row. Booyah, see what happens. You may have watched the Secret, and you are like, what the hell? Why don't I have my new Tesla since I have asked for it?! The thing is that people often use the message of the SECRET incorrectly. The problem is they keep “wanting” or “needing” something. That is the best way to continue to create the want or the need. People focus on WANTING something. What does the universe deliver back? Yep, you got it, you continue to WANT something. Now that we have sorted out the universe, let's get to my process. Step one: Write down an expansive list (keep adding to it all the time) setting out all the things you want to create in your life. If you ask for one thing, BORING. Ask for a hundred things or even more. When I first started my list, I struggled to come up with 100 things. Now I have 300 things (by the way this is not mostly THINGS as in BS consumer items although I do have some of that, experiences, ways of living, peace, joy, happiness. I have to say a big fat thank you to David Cameron Gikandi who wrote A Happy Pocket Full of Money: Your Quantum Leap Into The Understanding, Having And Enjoying Of Immense Abundance And Happiness. Step 2: Download a timer app on your phone that repeats. Set it for 30 seconds to repeat 40 times (thus creating a 20-minute practice). Step 3: This is thanks to Abraham Hicks and the book called Ask and it is Given. I have revised the 17-second task to 30-seconds so I have time to read the thing I want to manifest and then dig into the great feeling. Turn on your timer app, read the first thing on your list, experience what it FEELS like to have/be/experience that thing you want to manifest. Pretty soon those things start showing up in your life. What I have asked for has expanded also. My daily experience has improved a lot too. The coolest thing is that when I look at my list, I don't even differentiate between what I have and have not manifested. I invite you to dive into this fun process! Much love, Val In this Episode: I created a method for manifesting great things [00:00:27] These are the kinds of things I have manifested [00:04:23] I used this very technique to transform my life and create some very cool experiences [00:12:55] Step 1 [00:15:22] Step 2 [00:20:36] Step 3 [00:20:44] Listen to my Podcast: Blog: https://www.valhemminger.com/blog/How-to-Become-a-Manifesting-MoFo-in-3-Easy-Steps-s02-e34 Libsyn: https://bethebest.libsyn.com/how-to-become-a-manifesting-mofo-in-3-easy-steps Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/2HlI740BRQSt4YZ1OaPtVm Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/how-to-become-a-manifesting-mofo-in-3-easy-steps/id1509091497?i=1000547434903

You are going to love this week's episode! It's an incredibly inspiring and empowering conversation with a badass entrepreneur I've had the pleasure of getting to know recently, Jill Stanton. I was familiar with Jill before we did this interview, but I really started getting to know her personally this year, both in 1-on-1 conversations we've had and in the virtual mixers she's hosted. Not only does she know her shit, but I love her attitude and the other incredibly successful and cool women she attracts. If you don't know Jill, she is one half of Screw The Nine To Five, a company that has inspired and empowered tens of thousands of new entrepreneurs to quit their jobs, start and grow thriving online businesses, and make over $100,000 a year, all while being location independent and living lives of meaning and purpose. When she's not CEO-ing, Jill also loves travelling the world with her husband Josh and their young boy, Kai. Jill is also the founder of the Millionaire Girls Club, which is a place to connect with unapologetically successful women who hype you up, inspire you to play a bigger game, and have way more fun doing it. She's currently planning her first retreat, which we're going to get into in this episode. I know I say this about a lot of interviews, but this conversation really is one of my favorites to date. And I can't think of anyone listening who won't get something valuable out of it. In Ep. 157, we cover: Jill's journey into the online space and the early years of her business Affiliate marketing: How Jill was able to crush it as an affiliate marketer and what it takes to be successful at it How she scrapped a very lucrative business model to do what truly feels aligned (and why that's not a crazy thing to do!) Developing the mindset required to become a millionaire and her favorite money mindset resources Navigating failure and change, how motherhood has affected her business and lifestyle, and more! Jill really drops so many gems in this episode. She also gives some great book recommendations, which you can find below. Want to listen to Beyond Influential ad-free and get other exclusive perks? NOTE: This podcast was originally published as a video episode. I'm a sucker for just about any reputable book that talks about personal development and/or money. And this book "A Happy Pocket Full of Money" tops the charts of both. It is in a league of it's own. I read many books so I can't so "this one" or "that one" completely changed my life. And I take something powerful away from just about every book I read. But David Cameron Gikandi shares such a persuasive and researched view about money and happiness that makes this book great. And while many money books talk about starting a business, making a marketing plan, easy business ideas, and biography's of "how they did it," - this one does the one fundamental thing very well. That fundamental thing being making you understand why a happy pocket full of money is possible for everyone. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/strategic-possibilities/support

Have you ever thought about how much it's going to cost you to pay for Netflix over a 5 year period? Or Spotify? Or really, any of those unnecessary purchases that we all love to splurge on?! Well, what if you decided to invest in the same way in your own health? That's what Jess is sharing about today in Part 2 of our conversation on Kangen water. Jess isn't here to make a sales pitch, but rather to inspire us to think differently about our health and truly make it a priority in our lives. To view the full show notes, continue reading here or visit my website: http://www.heartfelthippie.com (www.heartfelthippie.com) Last week Jess educated us on why our tap water isn't as safe as we may assume. Yep, the water that we drink, bathe in, and cook with is full of nasty contaminants! She gave us some really helpful resources to check out what's in our local water supply, and we also started diving into her solution to this problem - Kangen water! Kangen is a machine that produces seven different pH levels of water from acidic to alkaline, and there are soooo many uses for all the different types! That's what Jess is explaining today. She shares the benefits of drinking alkaline water, but the uses go way beyond quenching your thirst. Jess also goes on to explain why the price point is so high on these machines. If you're like me, you may have already done a Google search to see how much you'd have to drop to get your hands on one of these bad boys. Before you make up your mind on the cost, listen to what Jess has to share. She not only explains the upkeep required and how to pick out the right machine for you, but she also tells us why she feels they are truly worth the investment. Unlocking $100k Months in Your Business “Fear, power, and belief reveal themselves when it's time for you to level up.” — Shameca Tankerson (06:21-06:30) Many people have the desire to create a business with consistent revenue every month. But the question is, what does it take to get to the next level of impact, clients, income, success, and legacy in your business? Your actions today determine your result tomorrow. In this week's episode, we're going to unlock $100k months in your business. Part One of ‘Unlocking $100k Months in Your Business' I'm known for working with ambitious powerhouse business owners to help them to crush doubt and activate 100% confidence to sell more of their services at a more significant price point with zero apologies. And so, here's the thing that led me to this place over the years of my work — helping women mainly grow their business sales. The common patterns that hinder one's growth are — thinking they're not good enough, experienced enough, popular enough, and ready enough. Those beliefs are impacting your courage to go for what you want or to pursue greatness without fear. It's about getting out of your way to create something, not in the hustle mode, but with ease that almost seems too good to be true. “When your inner game, your mindset, your self-leadership, your self-talk is off. I don't care what strategy you use. None of them will work.” — Shameca Tankerson (25:40-25:47) Some people say, "I don't want to buy a 2020 planner until I see how this year will shake." Many awful things have happened this year, but the power lies in how you respond to them. Notice that if you start behaving according to your belief, it reflects on your result. You don't sell your services. You set prices based on what you believe that people can afford. You think that people can't invest during a holiday season because they're busy spending time with their family. Here's the truth: you can still even during Christmas time! You have the power to choose what story you're going to focus on. And I assure you that you'll experience some RECORD-BREAKING SALES MONTHS! Part Two of ‘Unlocking $100k Months in Your Business' You must learn how to stop listening to other people's version of reality based on their fears. Who you surround yourself with during times like this makes all the difference during times like this. The results you set out to attain this year are available to you. If you're not on the right track, what are you going to do about it? This year is about exposing what needs to be healed in our society, and what needs to be healed inside you. It exposes the holes, the cracks, the way you operate, the leaks, and the gaps. My clients are celebrating their record-breaking sales months, even in the middle of a pandemic. IT'S POSSIBLE FOR YOU TOO! It's time for you to unlock the possibility that's in your business this year. You don't have to wait for somebody to announce that, "Everything is okay now. You can go back to dreaming like you used to. You can go back to trying to hit those same goals that you used to hit." All you have to do is decide that you want it to happen NOW. When you move in power and certainty, nothing is impossible. “When you trust in a knowing of who you are, setbacks, failures, and disappointments can't thwart you. It can't rock the boat because you're on a solid foundation.” — Shameca Tankerson (33:21-33:28) A Happy Pocket Full of Money, written by David Cameron Gikandi, a book that I've been reading lately, offers a lot of helpful insights that even high achievers can relate with. Let me share two memorable quotes from this book. First, "Your goals are the prophecy of what you shall one day become." Second, "Simply know where you're going and the answers as to how you will get there will come to you in their own time." Most people focus on their outer strategy to create big results such as launching Facebook ads, writing emails, putting a funnel together, the most excellent tactics, starting a podcast, going live on Facebook, being active on Instagram stories, or starting your YouTube channel — and we act as if our ultimate success depends on these things. Your hope is in the things instead of in the knowing. And the truth is, all of those things work. They all do. But none of them work if your inner game and your self-leadership are not on point. When your inner game in self-leadership is on point, you can use any of those channels and still be able to work with your dream clients. Don't be confused with your identity. You're a powerful creator. When you trust in the knowing of who you are, nothing on the outside can shake you. When somebody tells you, "I can't afford it, that's so expensive!" You're like, "NEXT!" The vision that you want to achieve by the end of this year will live or die by the power of your tongue. You don't necessarily need to work 24/7. It's a matter of focusing on your goals and aligning your actions to that. Your current circumstances are a product of past thinking, behavior, and actions. Your results for the end of this year 2020 are starting right now with what you believe, what you trust in, and how you behave. I'm going to leave you with this question. Who do you need to be today to become the person you want to be tomorrow? How to Get Involved Shameca Tankerson is an award-winning business coach, national speaker, and bestselling author. She is a badass at helping women own their worth, claim their confidence, and become high performing power players who get paid – without the guilt. She's called to challenge you to your greatness, stretch you, test your limits, and set fire to your fears. Her clients are high achievers, dreamers, visionaries, who hold something so powerful, so wickedly incredible within… they are on the cusp of greatness - yet the scars of their past have them second-guessing themselves. Together we call on your courage, bust through fear, and awaken your inner powerhouse so you can stop apologizing, shrinking, hinting, whispering, asking for permission, giving in, and pretending to be satisfied with the status quo. It's your time. Listen Love, when you stop playing small and show up fully, your business and income will naturally grow too. Discover how clients see your Level of Authority and any blocks sabotaging your sales. http://shamecatankerson.com/

Episode 13: Sharing Your Story in a Book with Ashley Cox Today on the show Jodi interviews Ashley Cox, author of Transform Your Stories (2019). Here are some highlights: Jodi and Ashley talked about the organic manner in which Ashley came to write a book to serve her business. She was struck by a line in a true crime podcast she was listening to one day and wrote a blog post about it. The feedback was so strong that Ashley felt like she could write more, and one blog post turned into a four-post series. After even more feedback, much of which included things like “I could read a whole book on this topic!” Ashley realized she had a book topic on her hands. Ashley wasn’t actively brainstorming topics, thinking that she was going to write a book. The process was natural and organic. Ashley shared that her favorite part of the writing/publishing process was the esoteric experience of thinking about her readers. She thought about individual women holding the book and thinking about the impact her words would have on those people she may never meet or work with one-on-one. Ashley reflected that the book writing process was experiential for her and natural because she’s walked the path her readers are walking or have walked. She’s the expert guiding the reader through the book but also walking alongside them as someone who’s struggled with toxic stories and how they’ve affected her leadership roles. As someone who doesn’t love doing the nitty-gritty, detail/line-by-line work, Ashley’s least favorite part of the process was reading her own words over and over (and over and over). She noted that she doesn’t thrive doing that type of work but keeping her readers in mind helped her power through the revision stage as she finished her book. In the six weeks or so (at the time of recording) since Ashley’s book launched, she shared that so many fun things have happened already: Holding the book in her hands was such a thrilling experience, and a future reader from New Zealand connected with her on Instagram and noted that she had purchased the book, and knowing that the book had gone international inspired Ashley. She’s also benefited from podcast and speaking opportunities, as well as events at local establishments in her community. Ashley noted that the book gives her “something to lead with” when introducing herself to people. Ashley offered two pieces of advice for other author-entrepreneurs: Hire someone to help you (and the earlier the better), because the book writing and publishing process is so involved. And take advantage of the wonderful community of existing author-entrepreneurs. Reach out to them and ask for advice and feedback. Ashley shared that she’s typically reading more than one book, and now is no exception. She’s currently reading two books, one personal development and one for leisure: A Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron Gikandi and The Boiling Season by Christopher Hebert. A little about our guests. Aaron and Jocelyn both grew up to be very different people from the power couple they are today. Aaron was an athlete and kept his guard up when it came to women. Commitment was a foreign word and he even tried to break up with Jocelyn, even though he knew she is the one. Aaron studied to be an engineer, wrote a book with his wife and is now a published author, speaker, and social entrepreneur. Jocelyn was self-conscious growing up. After spending too many years looking for external validation, she decided to go deep. Jocelyn spent several years transforming herself. She fell in love with who she became and when she stopped looking for validation from the outside, she was ready to meet her partner. Before writing a book with Aaron and creating their speaking and social entrepreneur business together, Jocelyn was a registered nurse. A little about their business. Aaron and Jocelyn sat down and wrote a book together, The New Power Couple. Their mission is to get couples on the same page with a clear direction and purpose. They’ve created workshops and speak about being new power couples. One piece of advice (the nutshell version) Everyone has a particular set of skills and a message. Find out what your purpose is and follow the dream. Not just for yourself, but for the people out there waiting for your message.
