The Glickencrew (Wick, Chef Robby, Bobby, and Mike) return to discuss another James Glickenhaus flick. Grindbin all star for: Shakedown, McBain, The Exterminator, the expectations are sky high for this Ken Wahl classic. Featuring one of the longest Grindbin rants in history.
The bin will return next week with a brand new episode. In the meantime, check out the second part of the Human Fly saga from the Patreon mini bin
The Grindbin finally returns as Bobby, Tim, Fern, and Mike discuss a horror movie about... jellyfish?
Matt, Julie, Bobby, and Mike discuss the hidden gem, They Call Me Macho Woman! Don't let the Troma title screen scare you away, Macho Woman is everything you hope for in a bin movie.
Vaughn, Yobo, Bobby, and Mike close the month (quarter) of Yobo with the legendary Walter Hill film, The Warriors. If you listen to this show, you know the movie, there's nothing much I can add here.
Yobo, Chris in Miami, Bobby, and Mike discuss a movie that covers the ONLY ritual murder ever committed in New Orleans since the 1800s. With restaurants that serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner for the same meal, cops who go deep under the covers, and theatrical musical murder productions; this movie has it all!
Yobo, other Tim and Brady join Bobby and Mike as the month of Yobo continues with the 1980's TV movie "classic" about a young Scott Baio with a drinking problem and his friend who wets the bed but might make it to the Olympics one day. Or is this the movie about Scott Baio getting drunk and hitting his brother off a row boat with an oar? Either way, Yobo will be sure to explain it all because he has waited YEARS to bring this to the bin.
Yobouary starts strong with the classic Andy Sidaris film, Seven! Starring Grindbin All Star William Smith, this is Sidaris at his best. This movie has literally everything you could want... and, unfortunately, offensive comedy routines...
Terry, Lee, Bobby, and Mike discuss a Patreon request from the producer of a classic Grindbin movie... Malibu High (1979)! A movie that is baffling, highly probalamtic, inept in every way, and something (most) of us absolutely loved.
The guys discuss an incredible wrestling vanity project that surfaced online in the past few years. Starring Ted "Wolfman" Vernon, a man of many hats, including exotic car dealer, prizefighter, writer, producer, gun runner?!
Tanner, Greg, Bobby, and Mike discuss the Robert Forester "banking" film filled with tons of hot banking action. Cash those checks, keep those receipts, and hit up your ATM, the Banker is in town!
Bobby, Yobo, Wick, and Mike celebrate the 400th episode of the bin with a classic "Roger Please" movie that in no way holds up to modern standards. This episode has it all everyone: over 3 hours, soy sauce scholorships, rolling chair and dip bars, and a morning zoo radio show. Thanks for sticking with us everyone!
In true Grindbin fashion, Camvember 2024 finally comes to a close over half way through December... but with a real banger! Yobo, Matt, Bobby, and Mike pitch the tent, self-Nell, and drink some crotch warmed high lifes for an ill-fated camping trip. Memorial Valley Massacre is one of the most incohorent, logic defying, and intelligence insulting movies we've ever seen on this show; which makes it a perfect way to end this year's celebration of the man who was barely in the movie.
Fern, Artemis, Bobby, and Mike continue their deep dive into Cameron Mitchel films with another David Winter's "classic" Space Mutiny. Fake beards, directors quitting, space nepotism, this movie has it ALL!
Wick, Lee, Vaughn, and Mike discuss an extremely unhinged Cameron Mitchell performance in a movie starring Grindbin legend, Robert Ginty. Directed by David Winters (Rage to Kill, Thrashin') Codename Vengeance is undoubtedly some sort of tax dodge scheme that nobody was actually intended to watch... yet here we are nearly 40 years later discussing it for 3 hours on a theme month dedicated to a man who didn't even know he made this movie. Happy Camvember everyone!
Camvember 2024 has arrived and the boys find themselves stranded on an island full of fishmen in some weird sex game. Tanner, Bobby, and Mike are joined by new guest Greg (Absolute Zeros: Camp Launchpad, Junior Braves of the Apocalypse) to talk about a very drunk Cameron Mitchell appearance that really isn't supposed to be in the movie.
Bobby, Yobo, and Mike find themselves trapped in an abandoned house for the annual Grindbin Halloween episode! Night of the Demons is your classic "people stuck in a house" movie where we wander around for 90 minutes and hope something fun might happen. Does it? Will Yobo be spread over an open fire?? Did anyone bring the Double D batteries?!
Greg, Chris in Miami, Bobby, and Mike discuss the lesser-known Walter Hill film, lovingly referred to on the show as "Swamp Warriors". When a group of National Guardsmen get stuck in the swamps of Louisiana, they find themselves hunted by locals who really don't like outsiders. Featuring a cast of great charactor actors: Keith Carradine, Powers Booth, Fred Ward, Peter Coyote, and Brion James, this is a movie made for the bin.
The Patreon Poll winner for "Silva September" is here... in October! Vaughn, Chuck, Bobby, and Mike discuss the Fernando Di Leo crime drama in which Henry Silva plays our leading man (only not in his own voice). Does the Boss live up to the hype? Will we get a complete org chart of the mob before the movie is over? Did we find yet another Grindbin movie sponsored by J&B Scotch?! All this... and more!
Wick, Brady, Bobby, and Mike discuss the Taiwanese re-imagining of Snow White. Only this time she is birthed from a space bean and restaurant Cyclops rule the streets.
Yobo, Molly, Bobby, and Mike FINALLY discuss the Gary Coleman "classic" about him living in a train station locker and betting on horses. Who was this made for? Why did they destroy an entire rain forest to build a train station Shakey's? And is Gary just actually a vampire? All these questions will be answered... and more!
Faustus joins Bobby and Mike to talk about the Dino De Laurentiis "spoof" of James Bond films. CIA agent Kelly is stationed in Rio de Janeiro, covertly monitoring a wealthy industrialist, David Ardonian, who harbors a secret plan to sterilize the global population and repopulate the world himself, with captured women in clear cubes.
Tanner, Fern, Bobby, and Mike find themselves locked up with Grindbin All Star Tom DeSimone (Hell Night, Chatterbox, Angel III) in his "sendup" of women in prison movies. What promises to be a fun time ends up being one of the most angry, mean-spirited films we've seen in a long time. Tom, you doing ok buddy?
Summer Sequel Month 2024 comes to the a dramatic close with the Patreon Poll winner, Smokey and the Bandit Part 3. Chuck, Bobby, and Mike discuss the movie that wouldn't die by forcing it's way into existence. Can a Bandit movie exist without the Bandit? Has Jerry Reed seen the first two films?? Did Jackie Gleeson put his mom in this movie?! IT'S ALL IN THE EPISODE!!!
Lee, Daniel, Bobby, and Mike are here to discuss the Lorenzo Lamas "classic" Snake Eater 2! Have any of us seen a Snake Eater before? Does this movie have anything to do with the first one? Do we end the episode fighting on a roof with wheelchairs?! All this... and more!
Yobo, Terry, Bobby, and Mike find themselves locked back up in the Penitentiary for one more fight (even though we said we would never fight again and it doesn't really make any sense for us to be locked up for a third time). Can Canon elevate the Penitentiary series to new heights? Can you eat an orange with the skin on? Will Yobo mention the completely outdated Hawk Tuah girl 15 times?! Find out on this episode of the bin!
The beach party crew (Mary, Julie, Bobby, and Mike) are back for the first week of Summer Sequel Month 2024! This year we find the beach infected by the British Invasion, a doppleganger Frankie, a confused Don Rickles, one of the stiffest chair shots you'll ever see, and... are we still having fun in beach world???? Find out on this episode of the bin!
Steve and Izzy from EILFM (Everything I Learned from Movies) join Bobby and Mike to discuss the Albert Pyun "classic" that he apparently filmed, dumped off to an editor, and never looked at again. An all female rock band gets the gig of a lifetime, they just have to fly across the galaxy to get there, that sounds fun... right? There has to be SOME fun in this movie... right? There has to be a movie in here... right? Find out on this episode of the bin!
Matt (from Movie Melt!), Yobo, Bobby, and Mike discuss a German movie about a man whose dick starts talking to him on his birthday. The guys also delve into exciting topics like how much a box costs and proper library foot etiquette. All this... and more!
Bobby, Brady, Vaughn, and Mike discuss one of the attempts for the Cannon Group to go legit with the John Frankenheimer thriller, 52 Pick-Up. Written by Elmore Leonard (Grindbin all-star for Stick), starring Roy Scheider and Ann-Margret, and featuring incredible performances from John Glover and Clarence Williams III, this movie is a real hidden gem in the Cannon catalog. Even stranger, this might not be the first time Cannon tried to adapt this film...
Bobby, Chef Robby, fourth chair Vaughn, and Mike talk about the animal attack movie that's actually about a man's insecurities facing baldness. Featuring an incredible performance from Henry Silva, Robert Forester getting multiple police partners killed, and a potentially very problematic relationship; Alligator has eveything you could hope for in a Grindbin movie!
Welcome to the Grindbin father's day special! Join Wick, Chuck, Bobby, and Mike as they discuss the winner of a recent "good" movie Patreon Poll from writer/director Paul Schrader. When George C. Scott's daughter goes missing on a church trip, he hires a private investigator (Peter Boyle) to track her down. What ensues is a dive into the seedy underworld of the west coast adult industry, and George C. Scott in the most ridiculous wig you've ever seen.
Chef Robby, Wick, Bobby, and Mike endure the worst movie we've ever watched on the Grindbin. There have been a lot of intellorable movies on this show but nothing, NOTHING, compares to The Legend of the Roller Blade Seven. From the director of Hell Comes to Frogtown and Baby Ghost, comes the worst excuse for a "movie" ever created. Thanks to our Patreon member who requested it! (we do really appreciate your support...)
Bobby, Yobo, new guest Joe, and Mike talk about what many on letterboxd deems the "worst Burt Reynolds movie". Based on an Elmore Leonard novel (and screenplay) Burt finds himself fresh out of prison and getting caught up in the local Miami crime scene. Strap in for lot of horrible jokes, the return of Jai alai to the bin, the weakest of insects, and Burt getting splinters in his mouth from the most wooden performance ever on the Grindbin.
Lee, Bobby, new guest Mike Bagford, and original Mike discuss the Franco Nero detective movie where he goes to Italy to solve a case but instead finds his estranged son, kisses him on the lips, and then dates Sybil Danning for awhile. But he don't give a damn, he's the Cobra!
Part-time guest Tim Yobo, Matt, new guest Greg, and Mike discuss a little known direct-to-video action flick starring Jason Miller (The Exorcist) and featuring the on-screen debut of Grindbin all star Tim Robbins (Franternity Vacation). Like many of the random island action movies we've covered in the past, this is a hidden gem and absolutely bonkers.
The boys are back and stuck on a boat in the open sea. After debating for 30 minutes about Milk consumption, Yobo, Bobby, Mike, and new guest John discuss the John Huston CLASSIC the Bermuda Triangle. If you love floating dolls who eat raw meat and extended scenes of debating whether or not a dotor has the energy to cut someone's leg off, this is the movie for you!
Yobo, Fern, Bobby, and Mike discuss the winner of a recent Patreon poll. A town is flipped upsidedown when a space ship crash lands near Baltimore. It's low budget filmmaking at it's finest.
Bobby, Fern, Julie, and Mike discuss the Tony Curtis horror film about his lady friend growing a strange tumor that births a 400 year old demonic Native American spirit. Tony plays a psychic yet somehow didn't see this one coming.
Tanner, Luke, Bobby, and Mike celebrate March Madness by discussing the Gabe Kaplan EPIC about college basketball. You ever wanted to watch extended on ball drills in your movie? Did you ever want to see the team win by 40 and never trail? Then this is the sports movie for you!
Vaughn, Lee, Bobby, and Mike discuss a family film about a kidnapped boy who has his tongue cut out and is raised to be a criminal by his adopted parents David Carradine and Paul L. Smith. It's as wild as it sounds and is a movie (and an episode) worth checking out.
Bobby, Fern, and Mike discuss a request from a listener and... we would like to formally apologize Germany. Not only did we not enjoy this movie, we've found a new Tentacles. For whatever reason, if you love this movie, this might be one you want to skip.
Bobby, Wick, Chef Robby, and Mike are jacked like hell to see Grindbin all stars James Glickenhaus (Shakedown, McBain) and Robert Ginty (White Fire) return to the bin but all they can think about is how Christopher George (Pieces, Enter the Ninja) cooks a hot dog... Seriously, we are still thinking about it... everyday.
Chris in Miami, Jeff, Bobby, and Mike get ready for the big Super Match this Sunday by discussing the lost "football" movie starring Ernest Borgnine, Oliver Tobias, Henry Silva, and Charles Napier. The backstory for this movie is legendary but a guest's personal connection to this film uncovered during the episode is mind blowing.
Chuck, Tim, Bobby, and Mike discuss the unforgettable Greydon Clarke classic featuring George Kennedy pissed off on a boat with a killer cat. This movie has everything you could ever want: complicated crime plans, maritime law, and paperwork!!!!
Bobby, Chef Robby, Jersey James, and Mike break down the proto-buddy cop movie starring James Caan and Alan Arkin as two San Francisco cops who spend most of the time beating the hell out of people; especially if they didn't commit any crimes. try
Yobo, Matt, Terry, and Mike discuss one of the greatest Grindbin movies yet! Death Machines has EVERYTHING you could ever want from a bin movie: overly complicated criminal plans, milk toast characters who you don't want to root for, excessive paperwork as a plot device, and more!
Wick, Yobo, Chris in Miami, and Mike celebrate the holiday season with the classic Santa slasher, Silent Night, Deadly Night. When little Billy's grandpa tries to warn him about the evils of Santa, the kid doesn't listen and his whole life is destroyed. It's a movie, and episode, full of very valuable life lessons just like catatonic Grandpa used to tell you.
Pia Zadora finally returns to the bin! Yobo, Bobby, new guest Jeff, and Mike discuss this Pia Zadora, Telly Savalas crime caper in Las Vegas. Despite being financed by Pia's then husband, filmed at his hotel (The Riveria), and simply a vehicle for more Pia screen time, this is a strangely enjoyable movie! So grab a Pia-tina and enjoy extended scenes of Telly gambling and grabbing butts. This episode featured some technical difficulties in our first hour. If you're interested in seeing and hearing the almost four hour cut (including live watches of Telly Savalas music videos) check out our Patreon.
Yobo, Steve, Matt, and Mike discuss the ill-fated Olivia Newtown John and ELO musical. Featuring hot and sandy popcorn at the beach, maybe our most elaborate and nonsensical movie scam yet, guys rubbing themselves Xanadu in the Getty, and the hardest takes Yobo has ever had on interior design and rollerskating club logistics. With more than double the runtime of the movie, this is an epic episode of the bin that shouldn't be missed.
Steve and Izzy from EILFM join Bobby, Mary, and Mike as Camvember 2023 comes to a close with the adult film Cameron didn't know he starred in... allegedly. Dixie Ray, eventually cut into an R rated film called "It's Murder Baby" is a noir thriller that features some of the most uncomfortable, exposition laden sex scenes, and a very, very drunk Cameron. It's the perfect, akward way to end 2023's Camvember.
