The Kaiju Krew is back to talk about Gamera Vs. a Giant Street Shark. When two kids stumble upon a flying saucer that takes them to a strange planet with pretty space girls and mom's donuts, only one space turtle can save them... as long as he doesn't have any cuties in the queue.
Summer Sequel Month 2023 kicks off with a trip back to the beach with The Grindbin Beach Party Crew! The second in the Beach Party movies finds the gang renting a love shack on the sand next to a stable of human-trafficked bodybuilders managed by Don Rickles. Incredibly bad surfing montages, Dick Dale, a very pissed off Anette, and NO ERIC VON ZIPPER make for an entertaining, if slightly infuriating, trip back to the beach.
Men in Black: International is a reboot sequel to the famous movie, Men in Black and it's the perfect way to kick off our Sequel Month! This time we got Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Liam Neeson, and Kumail Nanjiani. Sound like the cast of a Marvel movie right? It's clear this is an attempt to reboot a movie series into a franchise everyone can love. Marvel did it why can't Men in Black? Aliens are great! The boys dive in and see if this movie is the first good sequel to the original Men in Black.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-other-half/exclusive-content
Summer Sequel Month 2022 starts off with the Kaiju Crew (Julie, Nick, Bobby, and Mike) discussing one of the most infamous Godzilla movies ever made! Originally called Godzilla Vs. The Smog Monster in the US, this is the only Godzilla film where the director was BANNED from making another by longtime producer Tomoyuki Tanaka. Find out why on this episode of the bin!

We are happy campers because it's SEQUEL MONTH and we're starting off with a return to Camp Arawak - er, Camp Rolling Hills. We've got deadly sticks, blue versus green gum, and m-f'n Jim Hopper. And if you're wondering if we're going to talk about the fact that all modern horror has been a direct result of this late ‘80s budget camp sequel, wonder no longer. We all know John Kramer and Micah Sloat are the original Sleepaway Camp 2 fanboys. ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: ::: Visit our website for episodes, blogs, reviews, and short stories: https://whatsyourleastfavoritescarymovie.com/ Follow us for daily fun, polls, and calls for reviews: Twitter (@LeastFavPod) Instagram (@leastfavoritescarymoviepodcast) Facebook (What's Your (Least) Favorite Scary Movie?) It's that time of the year and you know what that means. It is time to celebrate the 3rd year anniversary of PMI! For this year's anniversary, we will be doing Sequel Month! That's right, for the month of January, we will be going back on old episodes and continuing them. For our first installment, we brought back our good friend Alex Shipley to talk about one of our favorite subjects, celebrities doing music. Like last time, this entails famous people who created their career in a different field and then deciding to try out music. Keep your eyes peeled for what we have in stored for Sequel Month and stay tuned! Edited by Matt Proctor

ESat3AM reaches the midpoint of SEQUEL MONTH by trying to find out if dead really is better with 1992's PET SEMATARY 2. It's the final episode of Sequel Month, here on So, What's the Problem? Jimmy and Jen are back in the world of horror with this lacklustre sequel that was rushed into production after the success of the first movie. They talk about teen girls in movies, commonsensnsemedia.org and Jimmy gives far too much thought to the plot of the movie. More than the actual filmmakers do. Contains strong language.

Summer Sequel month comes to a close with possibly the most depraved movie of all time; Screwballs 2: Loose Screws. A movie so vile it could be tried for sex crimes, Loose Screws takes the formula for a teen sex comedy and turns it up to 11. Four guys who've repeated the 12th grade a number of times are finally expelled and sent to an academy for idiots; where they just commit more sex crimes (and this time on the freshman class). This is a true Grindbin movie and it's a fitting way to end a month that has become quite the disaster in the annals of Grindbin history.
Summer Sequel Month continues on the Grindbin with a listener request from our great friend and sponsor of the show: Shawn Thompson from LooseRounds.com. House 2 is a sequel that has almost nothing to do with the first one (that seems to be a running theme this month). When a married couple inherits a Nickelodeon game show of a house from their dead relatives they find it actually contains a portal to another dimension filled with dinosaurs and reject muppet creatures. Will House 2 bring summer sequel month back from the dead after the disastrous Surf 2? Find out on this episode of the Grindbin.
Summer Sequel month continues with Rudy Ray Moore's followup to Dolemite (Episode 21 of the Grindbin). A movie that's less a sequel and more a re-imagining of the first movie. Dolemite brings down the Mob and a group of racist cops while providing plenty of patented Dolemite one-liners along the way. Human Tornado is an amazing movie and a worthy follow-up to the classic Dolemite.
Welcome to Part 1 of the Grindbin's Summer Sequel Month. This week we are covering Surf 2, a movie that isn't actually a sequel. One of the worst films of all time and a movie that was highly requested from multiple Grindbin listeners, Surf 2 was an extremely painful experience... Thanks guys.
