From 2012-2016, the Fridays in the Hynds concert series galvanized a previously vacant space in downtown Cheyenne and opened a new chapter in the city’s music scene. As the series expanded, it also shifted venues to the Asher Building, where it hosted some of the region’s premier acts, as well as national artists, to crowds of over 300 people. After some 61 concerts, the Volunteer-organized series now remains one of the most endearing music and arts endeavors in the city’s recent history.
