This powerful and highly engaging talk starts with a statement: “We are nearly at the end of the year. I hope it's been a good one for you. You never know what's around the corner. All we have is the present and how we respond to it.” A month later we were hit with the worst bushfires in Australia's history. Two months after, a pandemic. Yet amidst the chaos the observation remained true. All we have is the present moment and how we respond to it. Listen as the lessons of non-dual Advaita and the teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj and Sailor Bob are woven into a practical application of the principles to everyday life. What is mind? What is real? How do we discover our true nature and how can we drop the mask we show to the world to reveal the beauty of what lies beneath?

Other than how you choose to respond, what control do you really have over changing circumstances? How well do you act in situations when clear thinking and insight are called for? This important session uncovers the secrets of developing flawless discrimination and judgment. And for developing the quality of acceptance of situations you simply cannot change. It is a must-listen for anyone grappling with today's changing and unpredictable events.

What keeps us from the constant experience of living in the moment?
Liminal states. Existing on multiple dimensions. The unassailable I AM.
What happens when big trouble strikes? What strategies can we employ to survive the mental and emotional disruption? What does yoga teach us about resilience? This important discussion will give you insights into a way of being that will give you the strength and clarity to survive any major calamity.
What is it that keeps us convinced of our own limitation? Is it true? What are the two Steps we can take to move straight back onto the State from any situation?
Something happened during the week. A moment of sparkling clarity. Suddenly, something made sense. The fundamental error people make. The error that gives rise to so much suffering. There, in that moment, Truth came forth, stark and unassailable. On Saturday, the insight will be shared. And with it, a technique that leads to the experience. Let's see if you see it too. #meditation #advaita #consciousness #awareness
A surprising 14th text from an unknown mystic from the Christian tradition conveys some of the most profound teachings we practice in yoga. The direct experience of the Absolute, whom some call ‘God', is not a function of mind or ego, but is knowable directly though the loving contemplation of a single word.
What happens when you get a glimpse of the Truth? Not an intellectual insight, but a direct experience? What happens when experiencing your existence as a continuous flow of awareness takes over from egoic mind body Identification? Are you still able to function? The answer may surprise you.
3 dharanas are given. Techniques to get you beyond mind. This is practical tantra.
Guided meditation using seated yoga nidra to attain a state of deep restful alertness. From here we travel through the 4 bodies – physical, subtle, causal and supra-causal into a healing and restoration meditation. Emerge feeling transformed.
Becoming empty is the precursor to becoming all. The question was asked: What is it that moves us from meditation to awake? The answer was given: The same thing that moves us from waking to sleep. And from sleep to dreaming. The same thing that creates thought, and allows thought to subside. These are just different movements or conditions of mind. Go to the state beyond movement or condition, which exists in, through and beyond all states. Then the question becomes of no importance. You cannot know a thing from within itself. When the mind inquires: why do I do this or that, it cannot know. It only speculates and theorises. When there is no 'I' that asks, then the answer is known.
We start with a question about the difference between Deep Yoga Nidra and Meditation. We progress through to the principle and types of Karma. We end with an excursion into Ego, Life and Transcendence – and what happens when all questions fall away.
A very special recording of satsang with Sailor Bob Adamson in Melbourne as he explains and we then discuss Advaita (non-duality) in a most profound, revealing and transformative exploration of the truth of Present Awareness.
Welcome to the “Empowered Meditators Series”. Today, an in-depth look at yogic strategies to awaken from the ego-induced dream of the unreal. The absurdity of believing in your limitations. And an exploration of how the more evolved version of yourself would respond to life's challenges. And the purpose of mental turmoil and distress. And more.
Except from session on assuming the qualities of a high state in the here and now.
The first 17 minutes are a guided meditation on the nature of life itself. Then follows a dialogue between teacher and student on the Yoga of Acceptance, outlining powerful and effective strategies to bring life into harmony with the flow of Presence, the pathway to peace.
That which lies beneath the surface often shapes our behaviours, thoughts and emotions. What is that state? Is that who we are? How do we know ourselves beyond the superficial me? What happens when we no longer carry the baggage of the past?
What happens when the mind presents us with options and we just don't know what to do? How do we deal with a bad situation? What about people we have to contend with in the world, jobs, relationships? What is the right understanding to apply? What strategies does yoga give us to maintain our own high vibrational state while living in a world of practical challenges? This highly interactive session covers all this and more. With techniques and guided meditation to lead us back to the no-State State of the I AM.
We start by examining Patanjali's first two substantive sutras. We look at how our beliefs govern our perception of reality, how thoughts arise and subside into consciousness and how the State which is found in stillness is approached by subtle application of technique.
A standout session which will be of immense value to those seeking understanding. A deep encounter with questions of the soul. The path of rediscovering our true nature. Karma. Life's lessons. The precious nature of human existence. Meditation and the development of discrimination and detachment. In the end, things just are as they are. There is no reason. But in developing insight into the true nature of things we begon to see ourselves as an inseparable part of the whole. Established in universal peace - love, compassion, gratitude and forgiveness flow naturally and effortlessly.
We are shown three strong techniques for expanding consciousness. Plus we discuss navigating the “thought field” as we enter the meditative state, we discover the first three of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and how they apply to dealing with the mind.
An exploration of meditation and consciousness.
What's to be done in the world when we already have all the happiness we can ever need right inside us? Knowing this, experiencing this, returning to this, where do we go from here?
A must listen episode! A powerful introductory meditation followed by a discussion about nature of mind and how to access bliss states in everyday life. Impossible to listen to the entire episode without being elevated to a higher state of consciousness.
