Asmi Shrestha, Miss Nepal World 2016, and Mike Harker, Public Affairs Chief at the U.S. Embassy Nepal, are joined here to talk about Creator's मेला by U.S. Embassy Nepal to celebrate the power of creators, explore the future of digital storytelling, and highlight the impact of content in Nepal.

Pradip Paudel is a Nepali Congress politician and Member of Parliament for Kathmandu-5. A former president of the Nepal Student Union and central committee member since 2014, he served as Minister of Health and Population (2024–2025), implementing health-sector reforms, expanding public cancer care, and rolling out nationwide vaccination programs.

Hon. Bablu Gupta is a Nepali politician and activist who became Nepal's youngest Minister of Youth and Sports, symbolizing a generational shift in governance. Known for youth representation, transparency through live-streamed meetings, and social activism, he also leads the volunteer group 100's Group.

Biraj Bhakta Shrestha is a Nepali politician from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu‑8. He serves as Deputy Leader of the RSP Parliamentary Party and previously held the position of Minister of Youth and Sports. Shrestha is known for his focus on legislative strategy, party coordination, and reform-oriented politics.

Ranju Darshana is a Nepali politician and social activist, known for making history as the youngest female mayoral candidate in Kathmandu in 2017. She served as General Secretary of the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, which formally merged into the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in late 2025 as part of a consolidation of alternative political forces ahead of the 2026 elections.

Dr. Chandra Kant (CK) Raut is a Nepali politician and former secessionist leader, best known for founding the Janamat Party and advocating for Madhesh rights.A former engineer and academic, he rose to prominence through the Free Madhesh movement before renouncing separatism and entering mainstream politics in 2019. Raut is regarded as a controversial yet influential figure in contemporary Nepali politics.

Naresh Bhattarai, popularly known as “Mic Jibi,” is a prominent Nepali media personality, radio broadcaster, television producer, lyricist, and actor, with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. Widely acknowledged for his influence in Nepali media and entertainment, he has written more than 300 songs and has hosted and produced numerous impactful radio and television programs throughout his long and active career.

Aayush Shrestha is a stand-up comedian, writer, and content creator. He is a co-founder of the comedy group Comedy Tuk Tuk and has played a key role in developing the Nepali stand-up scene, including organizing open mic events. Shrestha first gained wide recognition through his viral YouTube comedy acts and appeared in parody shows like Baaki Samachar.

Purushottam Yadav is a Nepali Gen Z activist from Siraha, who rose to prominence during the September Gen-Z Protest as a key organiser, digital mobiliser. Initiator of the viral “Wake Up Nepal” campaign. He recently entered mainstream politics by joining the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in December 2025.

Dr. Mukul Dhakal is a Nepali physician and healthcare administrator who served as the founding General Secretary and spokesperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (2022–2024). He significantly contributed to the development and management of Raskot Hospital through the Rabi Lamichhane Foundation. He later parted ways with RSP following internal disagreements regarding party direction and leadership.

Anna Sharma and director Sudepta Adhikari team up for Ramita Ko Pirati, a female-centric film about modern love, heartbreak, and relationships, releasing Feb 6, 2025. Produced under SHERO Films and starring Anna Sharma alongside Dhiraj Magar. With its teaser and “Timi Bhayea Kafi” creating buzz, the duo ushers a new wave of women-led, authentic storytelling in Nepali cinema.

Nitesh Rohit (AnimeCon India) and Rohit Shrestha (Otaku Jatra) are key figures behind the rise of anime conventions in South Asia, popularizing Japanese anime in India and Nepal through cosplay, screenings, gaming zones, artist alleys, and creative workshops empowering youth, supporting local artists, and boosting pop-culture tourism.

Mukesh Awasthi, of Dadeldhura, Pawan Shahi, from Kalikot, and Krishna Sunuwar, became symbols of Nepal's Gen Z Uprising when they were shot and heavily injured while standing up for a cause. On September 8, 2025, as thousands of young Nepalis filled the streets with chants for accountability, transparency, and real change, these three Gen-Zs found themselves at the epicenter of a moment that shook the nation.

Pradeep Shahi, a British-Nepalese filmmaker and founder of SHY Productions, presents EKLO - I, Nepal's first large-scale sci-fi thriller, featuring Kabita Nepali a national Wushu champion and Himalayan Roadies Season 7 gang leader who makes her action-packed film debut performing all her own stunts, alongside veteran actor and senior pilot Vijay Lama. The film is set to release on January 1, 2026.

Ojaswi Thapa, is a Nepalese entrepreneur and Gen Z activist who became a key communications strategist during the September 2025 Gen-Z protests. He managed social media messaging, promoted anti-corruption, non-violence, and youth empowerment, and emerged as a leading voice for Nepal's youth.

Dr. Arun Kumar Gupta is a leading Nepali rheumatologist, serving as President of the Nepal Rheumatology Association. He heads the Rheumatology Department at Norvic International Hospital and founded the Rheumatology Arthritis Center (RAC). He is recognized for his expertise in autoimmune disorders and his contributions to public medical education.

Dr. Pratik Man Singh Gurung is one of Nepal's foremost urologists and robotic surgeons, credited as one of the first to introduce advanced robotic surgery to the country. With hands-on surgical experience across the UK, USA, and Nepal, he has played a key role in advancing modern urological treatment in Nepal.

Adarsha Bazgain, Deputy CEO of Nabil Bank, is a leading expert in international banking and digital finance. With 21+ years of experience, he has driven major reforms in FX innovation, digital banking, and diaspora-focused services, while actively promoting fintech and financial literacy.

Dr. Sameer Mani Dixit is a leading Nepalese immunologist and founder of the Center for Molecular Dynamics Nepal (CMDN). With a PhD from Western Sydney University, he has shaped Nepal's infectious disease research, COVID-19 response, and AMR strategy. Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar is a Nepali media entrepreneur, Chairman of Avenues Television, and former FNCCI Senior Vice President. He leads Media Alliance Nepal and helped implement the 2024 media–advertising Code of Conduct. He remains a prominent and veteran figure in Nepal's media sector.

Nisha Adhikari is a Nepali actress, producer, mountaineer, and social advocate best known for films like First Love and Soongava. In 2013, she became the first Nepali actress to summit Mount Everest. A former Miss International Nepal (2005), she actively champions women's health and youth empowerment, and recently joined the Gatishil Loktantrik Party in 2025.

Miraj Dhungana is a Nepalese Gen Z activist who rose to prominence during the youth-led protests of September 2025. He leads the “Garikhana Deu” (Let Us Earn a Living) campaign, advocating for economic dignity, employment, and transparent governance. Dhungana has pledged to boycott elections until Nepal adopts a directly elected executive system and grants voting rights to Nepalis abroad, emerging as a key voice for youth-led political reform.

Ujan Shakya is a Nepali singer, songwriter, and music producer known for mixing Newa (Nepal Bhasa) sounds with modern pop and afrobeat. He became popular with his viral song “Maicha” (2020) and continued his success with “Baby” and “Kumari” in 2025. He combines tradition and modern music to create a fresh and unique sound in Nepal's music scene.

Anjan Shrestha is the Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). He is also the Executive Director of Laxmi Group, a diversified conglomerate spanning confectionery, dairy, automobiles, steel, packaging, healthcare, and more, employing roughly 1,001–5,000 people.

DK Sagar, AKA “Yadav Sarkar,” is an up-and-coming Nepali rapper putting Maithili rap on the map. Rising from Janakpur, he shot to fame with “Jan Chetna,” a breakout track that racked up millions of views. His earlier hits include “Futal Nasib” and “Xutkara”. Today, DK Yadav stands out as one of the most promising voices in the rising Mithila rap scene.

Diwiz Piya Lama is a Nepali MMA coach and practitioner, who also is leading Kathmandu's Lock & Roll MMA and pushing Nepal's MMA scene forward. He mentors top fighters like Rabindra Dhant and helps run Nepal Warriors Championship, blending coaching, competition, and media to grow the sport. He's also a co-host of the popular podcast Guff Guff Pass.

Arpan Thapa is a popular Nepali actor and filmmaker known for pioneering realistic, character-driven cinema in Nepal since 2011. Trained at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Lab in Mumbai, he is among firsts to introduce method acting in Nepali films. Arpan has acted in over 30 films and directed around five, often exploring complex, morally grey characters and socially relevant themes like corruption, disability, and conflict.

Birendra Raj Pandey is the President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and Executive Director of Nepal Adarsha Nirman Company, bringing over 30 years of experience in the construction sector. Ashika Tamang is a prominent Nepali social activist known for her bold campaigns against corruption, unfair pricing, and public service failures. She founded the Green and Clean Ashika Foundation, focusing on environmental protection, sanitation, and social justice, while also supporting marginalized communities, Gen-Z protest relief, and consumer rights.

Kanchan Rai is the founder of Ghumante, a leading travel platform in Nepal known for authentic travel storytelling and the promotion of domestic tourism. He is recognized as a talented filmmaker, editor, and director whose work has earned national acclaim, including being named among the 100 People to Watch in 2025 for his impact on rural tourism and cultural narratives across Nepal.

Dr. Ramji Ram is Nepal's first doctor from the marginalized Chamar community. Overcoming extreme poverty and caste-based discrimination, he earned his MBBS degree through sheer determination and a government scholarship. Despite facing institutional barriers and financial hardships, he succeeded in becoming a Medical Officer at Nepal's Ministry of Education.

Ranjit Acharya is a pioneering Nepalese advertising guru and CEO of Prisma Advertising, Nepal's leading creative agency since 1991.
