How do we respond to those that have different opinion in us? In Acts, we learn this important truth.

If we want to be a vibrant Church, there's a certain mindset and passion we have to have.

As Saul begins his walk with Jesus, he encounters a man that is instrumental in his early walk with Jesus, and helps him become the disciple God is calling him to be.

When Saul became Paul after meeting Jesus, everything changed for him. When we dive into this story, we learn what should change in our lives as well after we surrender them to Jesus.

We may not worship statues today, but we still have idols that take priority in our hearts. Who or what reigns supreme in your heart today?

Sometimes God calls us to do things that seem irrational or impossible. However, He calls us to do these things so we realize how inferior we are and superior He is. Sometimes God will call you to things that don't make logical sense or seem impossible, but where He guides, He'll provide. When we step out in faith and follow the Holy Spirit's leading, we will experience the rich blessings of God.

The church in Philadelphia was praised by Jesus for their good works and faithfulness. However, Jesus encouraged them to keep living for Him and to not lose sight of their mission. This should encourage us to make sure we are investing into others for the Gospel of Jesus every day. Our faith should be shared with others and not bottled up to ourselves. Every day we are making investments in people whether want want to or not. The question is what type of investments are you making and are you making them in the right people?

Do we believe we are a spiritually alive church when ,in fact, we're spiritually dead? How can we tell? What should we do in response?

The letter to the Church in Thyatira addresses two groups within the church. One group is living righteously while the other group has begun practicing the sinful teachings of a false teacher within the church. There are great warnings and promises from Jesus in this letter that apply to believers today.

The Church in the United States is very similar to the church in Pergamum in that we tend to keep our faith to ourselves. We may not participate in the sinful acts of the world around us, but we also don't try and lead the world around us to repentance. However, this is not our mission as Christians, and Jesus points that out in this letter.

The church in Smyrna was severely persecuted. However, they remained faithful through it all. What lessons can we learn from this church about the persecution Christians are facing today and what type of response we should have?
