MAKING ALL THINGS NEW | Mark 8:22-26In this Sunday Collective, Pastor Rodney Manley teaches from Mark 8:22-26 and reminds us that faith is formed through process. Just as Jesus touched the blind man at Bethsaida and brought him into clearer vision, this message walks through what faith is made of, how it is stirred up, and how it is lived out.4 THINGS NEEDED TO MAKE FAITHMATERIAL OF FAITHFaith gives substance to what we hope for and evidence to what we cannot yet see.WATER OF FAITHGod cleanses us from impurities and idols so our faith can be renewed.MIXING OF FAITHWe stir up the gift of God within us through power, love, and discipline.WORKING OF FAITHFaith is lived out as we continue to work out what God is working in us.
We live in a world marked by death, grief, and brokenness. Revelation 21 gives us a glimpse of the future Jesus is bringing, where death is defeated, creation is restored, and God dwells with His people forever. Discover why the promise that Jesus is making all things new gives us courage to remain faithful to Him today.
The first eight verses of Chapter 21 serve as both a conclusion to what has been going on so far in Revelation and a beginning of the final two chapters. Six times in chapters 19 and 20 John uses the words “Then I saw.” Now for the seventh time, beginning in Chapter 21, he uses […]

The Focolare Word of Life is a monthly Scripture phrase selected by the Focolare Movement that people around the world are invited to reflect on, live by, and put into practice in everyday life. It's more than just reading a Bible verse — it's about letting a specific word or sentence from Scripture shape how we act, relate to others, and grow in unity with God and one another. The phrase is shared globally in many languages, with commentary and reflection experiences to help people live it out in real life.
God does not just make things better. He makes them new. God's plan is to make new all of creation, especially you!

A reflection given during adoration at the MN RC women's retreat.
Revelation is not meant to scare believers or predict disaster but to reassure them that God is in control and actively renewing the world. Jesus has already won, and because of that, believers can live with confidence, endurance, and purpose.
James draws our series on the Book of Revelation to a close, bringing a message of hope from chapters 21 and 22.

On this Thanksgiving and Reign of Christ Sunday, we turn to Isaiah's breathtaking vision of a world made new — a world where joy overflows, children thrive, elders flourish, and peace is not imagined but lived. In a time when many of us feel weary, scattered, or discouraged, this sermon invites us to see gratitude not as sentiment, but as spiritual resistance — a way of proclaiming that despair will not have the final word. Standing on the threshold of Advent, we explore how God is already planting seeds of new creation in the midst of our uncertainty, and how practicing gratitude helps us join Christ in building a world of justice, compassion, abundance, and joy.

When the world feels broken and your soul is weary, how do you hold on to hope? In this moving devotional, Vivian Bricker reflects on the promise of Revelation 21:5 and shares how slowing down in the midst of personal illness opened her eyes to God’s presence—and His promise to renew all things. With raw honesty and eternal perspective, she offers encouragement for anyone walking through hard seasons.
Acts 2:1-21 - The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost 2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. 5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren't all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?” 13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.” Peter Addresses the Crowd 14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'

Sermon on Revelation 21:1-8 by Pastor Jeff McInnis from Springhill Community Church
Today on BOLD STEPS with Pastor Mark Jobe … we’re learning to not judge books … and people by their appearance. As we move ahead in our series on … Making All Things New, we’re going to be looking at the story of the Woman at the Well. Jesus was able to see the unseen root problems with this woman and ultimately, he was able to Rewrite her story. And that’s what He wants to do with each one of us. Jesus showed her how to change her spiritual focus from her brokenness … to a thirst for God. God does His best work in the emptiness and dryness, making all things new.
The Lord doesn't just make some things new, but all things new as Pastor Cameron considers today. As believers, we can always live in newness of life!

Why are we a radically inclusive community of hope? We start with God and what God is up to in order to understand who we are and what we should be up to. And the really good news is that the God revealed in Jesus Christ is at work making all things new.
