90 minutes of scintillating house and techno, primed for the heart of summer. There's something delightfully paradoxical about Jennifer Loveless. Her productions skew hedonistic yet minimal; her DJing feels both spacey and oceanic. Hell, even her artist bio underlines her taste for opposites: "Jennifer Loveless is contrary to her name, all heart." This yin and yang runs through RA.1046. Built around swung percussion, the 97-minute mix wanders across genre and time with an aquatic sensibility. She mixes her own tunes with early '00s tech house to craft a seaside mise en scène where new-school heroes like Pancratio and Ladymonix share fruity cocktails with certified legends (K-HAND, Jay Tripwire). Strap in for deep cuts that sound simultaneously galactic and like they floated up from the ocean floor. Read the Q&A at ra.co/podcast/1064

Too many people settle and are complacent and comfortable without understanding the mindsets they have is their greatest enemy. They're stuck and stagnant because of their own ways of thinking, feeling, and acting! Until people get out of their own way and allow healing of their hearts and minds, no change will occur! This can't be accomplished without doing the necessary inside work! People will continue to accept and allow things against their own best interest. They will think it's okay to get into or remain in unhealthy, toxic, and dead-end relationships! Love isn't blind, people are! Yet, those with unhealed hearts and minds don't realized how their own unresolved inner issues affect their lives!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/relationships-and-relatable-life-chronicles--4126439/support.

On this day, 18 March 1834 the British Tolpuddle martyrs — James Brine, James Hammett, George Loveless, James Loveless, John Standfield, and Thomas Standfield — were sentenced to 7 years' transportation to Australia for attempting to organise a union. They had been trying to fight pay cuts for agricultural workers, but were shipped to Australia in appalling conditions. However the draconian sentences provoked a public outcry, and a mass campaign in their support eventually forced the King to pardon them. More information, sources and map: https://stories.workingclasshistory.com/article/9015/tolpuddle-martyrs-sentencedOur work is only possible because of support from you, our listeners on patreon. Kyle explains how Eyes Over tracks real-time public emotion across social media and online platforms—processing over a billion data points across 70+ languages—to deliver insights that legacy polling simply can't match. From serving the White House Communications Office with daily perception reports to helping corporations catch crises before leadership even knows they exist, Eyes Over is redefining how candidates, companies, and causes understand public opinion. Kyle also shares his personal journey from D.C. intern and custom boot business heir to state senator and now a key player in cutting-edge political technology. The conversation covers Eyes Over's track record of accuracy in major elections (including the 2024 presidential race), the threat of Oklahoma's State Question 836, the state's infrastructure challenges, and why the emotional "why" behind public opinion matters far more than a simple snapshot in time.

Does the way we live really matter? Scripture says it does. The Bible teaches that every believer will stand before Christ, where our lives will be evaluated and rewarded. What we value, pursue, and build today carries eternal significance. Through passages like 1 Corinthians 9 and 2 Corinthians 5, this message invites us to live with purpose, discipline, and faithfulness—because what is done for Christ will last forever.

We're headed to one of the most legendary small rooms in the country to chat with this episode's guest, Megan Loveless, Talent Buyer for The Blue Room at Third Man Records – the independent record label in Nashville run by Jack White. Megan tells us all about the venue, which previously had been used for underplays, photoshoots, and special experiences, but in 2021 was rebranded as a full venue to host a wide range of events weekly. From its literal blue walls that give it its name to the lathe room that houses a 1955 Scully lathe which allows them to record select shows direct to acetate – The Blue Room is a truly unique venue. Hear what goes into curating their calendar and how Megan balances booking touring and local acts along with other types of community events. We learn about her history growing up in a small town with a love for Nirvana and Sub Pop Records which led to her attending MTSU for Music Business and internships at a small label and Third Man Records. Enjoy this fun episode filled with interesting information and career advice, discussions about live music building community, and even some band recommendations to check out. Thank you for joining us for today's message, which is continuing the sermon series focused on the book of Colossians. In today's passage, Paul challenges the old belief that access to God was limited to a select few high priests. Instead, Colossians 1:27 teaches us that Christ, the "hope of glory," is in each of us. Christ in us is not an abstract concept, but a loving, peaceful, joyful, guiding presence to guide is as we live. If you prayed to make Jesus your Lord today, we want to rejoice with you! If you would want someone to pray with you, we are eager to do so! If you would like more information about our church, we're want to share. Please text the word "NEXT" to 407-77 so we can engage with you. For more information about our in-person Sunday morning services, visit https://horizonwestchurch.com. Even though these were ancient letters to ancient churches, they are still very relevant to our churches today. Is it possible that your church is so busy doing ministry and defending doctrine that it's forgetting the supreme motivation? Could your church be losing its love for Jesus? (Seven Letters, part 2)

The 24 Frames Cast

Loveless is Andrey Zvyagintsev's chilling portrait of a family — and a society — defined by emotional absence. Framed around the disappearance of a child, the film refuses the comforts of mystery or redemption, instead observing how indifference, distraction, and self-interest quietly shape everyday life. Through its restrained style and unflinching gaze, Loveless becomes less a story about loss than a study of what happens when care itself erodes — in private relationships and in the world beyond them.

Having commended the congregation for its works and its willingness to suffer, Jesus rebukes the church in Ephesus for having forsaken its first love, and calls it to repentance. We consider two things from the text: 1. A Critique of the Church (v. 4) 2. A Call to the Church (vv. 5–7)

Rock music is shedding its hairspray, sharpening its teeth, and looking for something that feels real again. And here come The Tragically Hip — louder, darker, more confident, and somehow more mysterious than ever.In this episode of Fully & Completely: Redux, jD and Greg LeGros dig into Road Apples as the moment where the band perfects their bar-band bravado — and then quietly starts planning their escape from it. Produced once again by Don Smith, recorded largely live off the floor, this album sounds like five guys in a room who trust each other completely… and aren't afraid to push.We talk about:Why 1991 might be the most important year in modern musicRoad Apples as the band's first true leap — not just forward, but outwardThe brilliance of Little Bones as an all-time album openerGord Downie's emerging lyrical mythos — cab drivers, King Lear, Macbeth, and prison-yard staresHow Cordelia and The Luxury reveal a darker, more literary HipWhy Long Time Running becomes one of the band's first truly communal songsThe quiet devastation of Fiddler's GreenAnd how Last of the Unplucked Gems gently closes the door on one era… and opens anotherThis is the album where the confidence hardens, the writing deepens, and the band stops sounding like anyone else. Navigating Fear and Humanity in Today's World: A Reflection on Recent Events Introduction: In an age marked by turmoil and uncertainty, the latest episode of our podcast dives deep into the emotional and societal implications of recent tragic events. Host Sana Wynd shares her heartfelt reflections on personal experiences, societal safety, and the ongoing struggle for justice, reminding us of the importance of empathy and awareness in our daily lives. Main Content: 1. The Mundane Joys of Life: Sana opens the podcast with a light-hearted mention of her Monday routine, finding joy in the simple act of observing the world from her window. She reflects on how these small moments remind her of her parents, who also took pleasure in the mundane. This nostalgic sentiment sets the stage for a deeper conversation about the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. 2. The Weight of Recent Tragedies: The mood shifts dramatically as Sana addresses the heartbreaking news of Renee Good, a mother and wife tragically killed by an ICE agent. She expresses her disbelief and anger over the senseless violence that permeates society, emphasizing the stark reality that if children are not safe in schools and women are not safe from law enforcement, then no one is truly safe. This reflection resonates deeply, illustrating the pervasive fear that many individuals, especially in marginalized communities, experience daily. 3. The Fight for Humanity: Sana passionately discusses the ongoing struggle for civil rights, highlighting how movements like Black Lives Matter aim to secure dignity and humanity for all. She argues that the fight for justice is not solely for one group but benefits everyone, citing historical amendments that paved the way for civil rights across various communities. This section emphasizes the interconnectedness of social justice movements and the necessity of solidarity. 4. Personal Reflections on Fear: Throughout the episode, Sana candidly shares her feelings of fear and confusion about the current state of the world. She acknowledges the emotional toll that witnessing such tragedies takes on individuals and communities. As a millennial, she reflects on the disillusionment many feel after being promised a better future. This vulnerability adds a relatable layer to the conversation, fostering a sense of community among listeners who may share similar feelings. 5. A Call to Action: Sana encourages her audience to remain aware and engaged in societal issues. She mentions instances of bravery, where individuals confront injustices, and stresses the importance of speaking out against oppression. This call to action serves as a reminder that change begins with awareness and empathy. Conclusion: In this poignant episode, Sana Wynd captures the complexities of navigating fear and humanity in today's world. Her reflections not only shed light on recent tragedies but also inspire listeners to embrace empathy and take action in their communities. As we continue to face societal challenges, it is crucial to remember the power of our voices and the importance of standing together. - Cherish the mundane moments of life, as they remind us of our humanity. - The fight for justice benefits everyone, not just marginalized communities. - Acknowledge and confront fear with empathy and action. - Stay engaged and informed about societal issues to foster positive change. #SocialJustice #CivilRights #Empathy #Community #Podcast #ReneeGood #ICE #BlackLivesMatter #Fear #Humanity #MundaneJoy #kristyanddesmondscott #dating #blacklivesmatter #fear #trump #ICE #Relationships #hope
