This week we begin a new format where I recap and discuss an entire week of pro wrestling at a time. This episode spans from Hell in a Cell to AEW Dynamite on the 26th. I'll answer burning questions like where is Roman cause Edge can't find him, and I'll discuss what I think is about to happen with Money in the Bank and the title pictures. Raw, Smackdown, NXT and Dynamite, every week on Sundays!
You almost had me, Schiavone! Brock Anderson includes himself in the QT Marshall/Cody Rhodes feud, what can we expect from the Enforcer Jr? Evil Uno falls short against Monster Miro, and another odd choice for main event as we Hang 10 against Team Taz. Oh and Christian is boring isn't he?
This weeks Smackdown had an incredible match with a WWE finish of course, and the Bloodline Saga continues with what I think was Roman's greatest promo backstage with Jimmy Uso. Otherwise, Smackdown needs to be fresher and give us a reason to care about the other superstars, and give us some CLEAN finishes!!!
Yup, in what was a different Raw than normal as in we didn't see the rematches we've been seeing, the Main Event was Alexas Playground and the terror imposed on Shayna by Lily the Doll. Well, that was.... weird.
Roman's Saga continues to shine but what about the rest of Smackdown? Seems like with all that is happening in WWE right now, perhaps a good product isn't their focus. This week was a little sub-par with weaker than normal in-ring action and some forgettable backstage promos. Please Smackdown don't turn into Raw.
Well that was something. We saw Shayna lose to Reginald, Elias walked out on Ryker and Nikki Cross beat Charlotte by lasting 2 minutes. Also, Randy dazzles with an RKBro-Derek and Drew punches his ticket to yet another title rematch. And Bobby, if you're gonna be a pimp, you're gonna need a hat!
In the WWE side of a double-header night, Smackdown gives us more intrigue with the Bloodline, and we get another rematch in the form of the Tag Titles in the main event. Are we going to see Jimmy vs Jey soon? Is Seth Rollins next in line for a Title Shot? Come by and find out what I think in this review!
On a special Friday edition of AEW Dynamite, we see some build-ups going into Double or Nothing this Sunday, but were they any good? AEW has starting wearing it's own formula a bit thin but still a pretty solid show!
This was a fantastic episode of NXT as we saw Ted DiBiase and Cameron Grimes seeing the bigger picture but LA Knight (Miz Lite) trying to show why he should be the heir to the legacy of the Million Dollar Man. The Emperor of Lucha Libre eyes the North American Title, Dunne and Fish have a classic and Raquel obliterates Shotzi after their match. Whew! Great nite, that and more on this episode so kick back, grab a coffee and get to listenin'!
Well another week of Groundhog Day Raw come and went and there was only one shining moment in Riddle and Woods having a match of the year caliber match. Well another week of Groundhog Day Raw come and went and there was only one shining moment in Riddle and Woods having a match of the year caliber match.Oh wait, Raw is contagious and I'm writing the same thing over and over again. Come by and listen to this weeks Raw review, I promise it's not the same as last weeks.
A decent way to end the wrestling week with this episode of Smackdown as Rick Boogs shredded Shinsuke Nakamuras entrance with his guitar, we have a moment to celebrate the Tribal Chief. and Aleister Black makes his ominous presence felt in the main event!
An average night of AEW action meant to get us hyped for Double or Nothing. The Acclaimed rip into Moxley and Eddie, while the Young Bucks are at the obnoxious best! Also, a brief mention of NXT as an episode was missed due to technical difficulties.
Well, that was quite the episode. Raw teased us with an open challenge for the WWE Title, or not. We also got Nia/Shayna vs Tamina/Nattie Part 17 tonite, and another lumberjack match. Bill Murray would be proud that nothing changes week to week. Let's talk about it shall we?
This was a night I didn't expect, a card with actually well done, great matches, a fantastic main event and even a promo for Bautistas new movie that ended up being part of a match with zombie lumberjacks. And even then, it was still great!
I talk about this weeks Smackdown and may anger you all with my opinion on Cesaro's push and how I feel about Natalya and Tamina winning Tag Team gold. Also, some Backlash predictions to get ya'll ready for Sunday!
As Cesaro would say, swing by to hear more terrible wrestler impersonations, my thoughts on Shawn Spears and Darby Allin -- hint, there not of praise -- and I discuss why I think this weeks episode of AEW Dynamite kinda left a sour taste in my mouth.
This weeks NXT was solid as usual, I'll talk about the Women's Championship match, the 2 out of 3 falls Cruiserweight Title match and everything else including some terrible impersonations of wrestlers that just happen randomly. Enjoy the show!
As another groundhog day episode of Raw airs, I talk about it fresh off the press as I'm still entertained by RKBro, and after being told 20 times by the announce team, I think I get how a triple threat match works. Also, have you heard of this Eva-lution that's coming. Who cares?
Did you hear Roman's new entrance theme? Did you see the main event on Smackdown? Well I sure did and I'd love to tell you all about it! Also, I will rant about the women's division some more, tell you what I think of what Mick Foley recently said, and explain what I think should happen with the whole Roman/Cesaro/Universal Title saga. Tune in to find out and remember to tweet or email what you think about it all as well!
In this week's Raw, we see how fun something can be if done right, like RKBro, and then we see the rest done wrong. Screw rules, stipulations, and good finishes, that's not what we're about!
After another bad start to the week with Raw, we are in for a treat on Tuesday and Wednesday with NXT and AEW Dynamite. Let's talk about Saray's debut and the AEW Women's and TNT title matches shall we?
I dive into Raw this week as another sub-par show plagued with inconsistencies, more of the same from the Women's Tag division and a surprisingly great match between Riddle and Randy. Make RKBro a thing, please and thank you.
In the first Smackdown after Wrestlemania, Roman Reigns dismisses Cesaro stepping up, we get screwy finishes to most of the matches and Seth Rollins isn't quite done yet. Are we all SURE we're excited about Cesaro's push here? I'm skeptical at best. I also talk about the recent releases by WWE and what I think about them.
Let's look at NXT this week where we see the Cruiserweight Title shockingly change hands, and AEW Dynamite showcases a new (old) Young Bucks defending their Tag Titles in a chaotic opening match!
Going into the first RAW after Wrestlemania, were you expecting a good show? Well too bad! Because it was 3 hours you can never get back so let's talk about that shall we?
First, I'd like to reintroduce myself, I'm Lefty, and I will be giving you the raw, uncut truth about what I think of all the wrestling we consume every week. In this episode I will talk about Wrestlemania and the consistently inconsistent storytelling that is the WWE. As Braun Strowman would say, CHOO CHOO! Let's get this train moving!
Will The Fiend shed his skin at the big event? What a better way to celebrate the 10th episode of this podcast than with King Leftius and his Wrestlemania Predictions! Also, a brief recap of Smackdown to start you off!
Coming off the heels of a fantastic showing for NXT Takeover, I discuss the two-day event match by match, starting with an incredible bout between Pete Dunne and Kushida and culminating in a violent ending for Adam Cole at the hands of Kyle O'Reilly.
What a night in AEW, apart from awesome in-ring action, the Young Bucks make a choice in the saga of Kenny Omega, and Chris Jericho yet again shows why he is a top star in the world of professional wrestling by cutting one of the best promos of his career against the Pineapple!
Get ramped up for Wrestlemania as the go-home show for Raw hits us with.... a jab? We get some final promos and matches where superstars point at the Wrestlemania sign to remind us of the upcoming 32-hour event, and King Corbin meets our expectations in the main event against the Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre.
Daniel Bryan gets one up on his adversaries to close the show, and does WWE need star power to sell Wrestlemania? That and more are discussed in this week's Smackdown recap!
I'll break down a fantastic night of wrestling action with a big battle royal in NXT and Christian Cage's debut match in AEW!
Raw drags on this week as we further the feud with Lashley and McIntyre, the Hurt Business is no more, and Bad Bunny punches the Miz. Oh! I won't spoil the ending but a certain King appears, so get excited!
This weeks Smackdown sees the Universal Title picture get a makeover that everyone saw coming, Cesaro accepts Seth's challenge in his own little way, and KO gets himself a match at 'Mania!
Let's discuss NXT this week as Cole and O'Reilly ramp up there feud with a furious promo to end the night and over in AEW, the Cleaner gives the Bucks an ultimatum and Dark Order's John Silver sets his sight on Darby Allin's TNT Title!
Let's talk about Raw this week as it seems the Hurt Business is falling apart and Shane McMahon continues his pointless feud with Braun Strowman.
In this inaugural episode, I'll let you know a little more about me, what my goal is here, and express my love for pro wrestling from a fan standpoint.
