TNT launches a second night of professional wrestling with a new tentpole series, “AEW: Collision” on Saturday, June 17. This live, two-hour, in-ring show will air every Saturday night from 8-10 p.m. ET and feature more wrestlers, more stories and more action to super-serve fans. “AEW: Collision” will feature headliners including CM Punk, Thunder Rosa, Powerhouse Hobbs, Samoa Joe, and Andrade El Idolo. In only four years following the launch of “AEW: Dynamite,” AEW's footprint has more than doubled across TNT and TBS. Along with “AEW: Dynamite,” Friday night's “AEW: Rampage,” the recent follow-doc “AEW: All Access,” and now “AEW: Collision,” TNT and TBS deliver the best matches and most entertaining moments in professional wrestling today. AEW has reached 23M total viewers so far this year across all of its shows on TBS and TNT.Thunder Rosa, whose real name Melissa Cervantes, is a Mexican professional wrestler and mixed martial artist. She is known for her high-stakes and hard wrestling style (a mix of American style, Japanese strong style, and Mexican wrestling). She has won several championships, including the AEW Women's World Championship, the NWA Women's World Championship, and the Shine Tag Team Championship. Rosa also owns the Mission Pro Wrestling promotion and has been a strong supporter of women's wrestling. She is the first AEW and NWA world champion born in Mexico, making her the first Mexican world champion in U.S. wrestling. Thunder Rosa has received major accolades, such as Pro Wrestling Illustrated's "Fight of the Year 2021" and is currently ranked #3 on the list of best female wrestlers in the world in Pro Wrestling Illustrated Women's 150.Coming from a rough upbringing, Will Hobbs found his passion for wrestling nurtured when he moved in with his grandparents, who were avid fans. Regaled with tales of the legendary Cow Palace, a venue Hobbs himself would later attend, Hobbs' journey as a young aspiring pro wrestler blossomed. After attending the WCW Superbrawl VIII in 1998, where he had a memorable encounter with Booker T, Hobbs knew his destiny. This led him to the All Pro Wrestling Boot Camp in 2009, where he officially began training for his career.Giving credit to his strong work ethic, determination and perseverance, Hobbs took full advantage of an opportunity borne out of the rarest of circumstances. He made his AEW DARK debut on July 7th. Hobbs returned a week later, receiving more of a showcase in six-man tag action. After appearing on six of the first seven possible DARK cards since his debut, Will Hobbs went on to make his AEW Dynamite debut in mid-August against Darby Allin. This just continued his rapid rise from unknown to AEW prospect. After a few months, Hobbs turned heel and joined Team Taz. Later, they renamed him Powerhouse Hobbs. His 2023 record is 17-4 as he looks to headline TNT's newest night of wrestling. East Palo Alto recently names March 24 at Powerhouse Hobbs Day!

NEW Wrestle Nation with Bowman, Mike Paris and 'The Stanchion' Wyatt Arndt
We are back to break down the week that was in pro wrestling. From a pretty major (July) Summerslam to the first post PPV Raw of the Triple H era, there was actually a lot of WWE to get into. Logan Paul being actually really good, The Miz's value being off the charts, Ciampa getting a huge showcase, Brock vs. Roman Part 7 being actually incredible, Bayley's new stable of badass women and who should dethrone Roman. On the AEW side we talk Dynamite, Undisputed Elite turning on the Young Bucks, Jericho/Yuta, Taz pulling the plug on Team Taz and we walk back our opinion (one of us) on the All-Atlantic title. We also chat the latest announcement for NEW Anniversary show (Maki Itoh!!) and all the fantasy matchups with the homegrown NEW talent stepping up against the rest of the Independent wrestling scene. Also...more talk about Ocean's 8 than you would expect from a wrestling podcast.
Triple H has only been in charge of WWE creative for just over a week and already Karrion Kross and Bayley returned, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky made main roster debuts, Ciampa is in the US title picture and so much more. This past week following SummerSlam there has been a noticeable shift in the WWE, is just the tip of the iceberg for the reign of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H? Will Karrion Kross replace Drew McIntye as the number 1 contender for Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship? What is the end game for the new faction of Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky? Are the rumors surrounding NXT bringing back elements from the black and gold era? What other superstars are set to return or make their long awaited WWE debuts? Adam Cole and reDragon turned on the Young Bucks! Yes you read that right. Following a promo regarding the upcoming Trios Championship Tournament, Adam Cole and reDragon laid out the Young Bucks until “Hangman” Adam Page made the save. Team Taz also imploded this week following Ricky Starks dropping the FTW title to Hook, Powerhouse Hobbs took it upon himself to level Starks and assault him as well. Chris Jericho vowed to bring back Lionheart Chris Jericho next week when he squares off against AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley. Can Wild Thing Jon Moxley hang onto his title or will Chris Jericho become Le Champion one more time? Find out all of this and more on another exciting edition of In This Very Ring!

The booking and psychology of matches and promos are looking very promising. The United States championship is now poised to be a respected, money drawing title again. The women of "Control" (Bayley, Dakota, Iyo) look to dominate the women's division of WWE. Over in AEW, Team Taz looks to be done with Ricky Starks who has been breaking out as a serious babyface contender the past month. Trav asks about the women's division in AEW. The April 13 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a buzzworthy title bout. As announced on the April 8 episode of AEW Rampage, ROH World TV Champion Minoru Suzuki will defend his title against Samoa Joe on Wednesday. This past week, “The Samoan Submission Machine” scored a victory in his AEW debut against Max Caster as he became the first man to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Suzuki won the title at ROH Supercard of Honor, the first ROH event since Khan bought the company, by defeating Rhett Titus. Plus, on AEW Rampage, Ricky Starks challenged Swerve Strickland to a tag team bout match for Wednesday's show. The FTW Champion will team up with Team Taz stablemate Powerhouse Hobbs to face Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee. The two sides have been feuding in recent weeks, and Lee has been engaged in a rivalry with Hobbs since the road to AEW Revolution. There, the two powerhouses clashed in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. Am I crazy or is that a LOT of fire? The Sword & Shield of Professional Wrestling, Josh C and The Zubes are back for another week to review a flaming hot edition of AEW Dynamite. There was a ton to like in the ring tonight, as Bryan Danielson's reign of skull stomping continued against the Dark Order and a show of promise from Vlan Vngels. Then CM Punk's feud with MJF continued with a helping hand extended to Lee Moriarty. Kris Statlander continued to win hearts and minds if not matches in the TBS tournament against Ruby Soho. And Cody literally lit himself on fire for our entertainment in the main even against Andrade. Elsewhere, Miro's room is now milky white (or green?), Wardlow scores a squash, Darby & Sting to try ruin the undefeated run of the Gunn Club, Lio Rush spills his heart to Team Taz, Britt Baker and Adam Cole each get a chance to talk, Tony Nese is there, Penta and PAC send a challenge to FTR, 2point0 give Jericho a TASTE, and Jade Cargill isn't worried about anything.
