Put your listening ears on for this one! We have a heavy hitter coming at you as we interview Dr. Marcus Lashley and Dr. Will Gulsby from Wild Turkey Science Podcast. We review in great detail the recent podcasts revolving around the essential habitat needed for reproduction of the wild turkey. To no surprise the conversation quickly gets to the importance of early successional vegetation on the landscape for nesting and brood rearing cover. It was found in a recent research project that 45% of the hens selected only 7% of the landscape consisting of the early successional cover and shrubland. Not surprisingly, there was a 38% success rate in these areas for nests, which is pretty exceptional for maintaining and growing turkey populations! After covering these staggering numbers, we then shift the conversation towards baiting and the implications it has on the landscape and how it largely impacts predators in a very positive way. Baiting is not a practice that we would support or suggest if you are interested in producing more turkeys on the landscape. We hope you share this podcast with everyone who cares about the wild turkey.

On today's Off the Script with JDfromNY, we discuss the latest developments in the potential WrestleMania matchup for Brock Lesnar. According to WrestleVotes, the idea for Brock Lesnar vs. Omos came from a powerful person who pushed it through. We also explore Lesnar's other potential opponents for WrestleMania, including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Roman Reigns, Gunther, Bobby Lashley, and Bray Wyatt. While the current plan is for Lesnar to face Omos, there is speculation about an undisclosed backup plan. WrestleVotes hinted that Vince McMahon was involved in pushing for this match, although sources close to Lesnar have suggested otherwise.  Also, UFC's parent company Endeavor recently held an earnings call for the fourth quarter and full year of 2022, during which CEO Ari Emmanuel was asked about the possibility of the company purchasing WWE. In response, Emmanuel praised WWE as an "unbelievable product" and acknowledged their longstanding relationship with the company. However, he also stated that Endeavor is currently focused on de-leveraging their debt and is not looking to change their leverage position by acquiring WWE at this time. This statement suggests that Endeavor is unlikely to pursue the reported $9 billion purchase of WWE from Vince McMahon, as they prioritize reducing their debt. And, finally, WWE "legend" Goldberg has expressed his desire to step back into the ring for one more match under the WWE banner. Goldberg has only wrestled once in 2022, which was against Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber where he lost to Roman Reigns. In 2021, he worked three matches, losing to Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble and Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam before beating Lashley at Crown Jewel. Prior to the Reigns match, he hinted that it could be his last time wrestling. Goldberg recently spoke to Sports Illustrated and was asked about the possibility of wrestling again. He stated that he feels WWE owes him a retirement match, but he's not waiting for the phone to ring but what Goldberg fails to understand, is that WWE doesn't owe him anything.  Other top stories tonight:
