1. Find out where the best holiday light displays are in your area using the Cheer Map through the Neighborhood app. Bring along some hot cocoa and listen to your favorite holiday station.2. Random Acts of Kindness - spend a day thinking of ways you can make someone else’s day. Pay for someone in line behind you; put someone’s grocery cart away; leave a kind not on a neighbor’s door; call a loved one you haven’t talked to in a while. Get creative.3. Neighbor Secret Santa - Leave treats and a note on your neighbor’s doorstep. Tell them to pass it on (free printable on soulstyleproject.com)4. Hallmark Movie Night - Host a watch party on Zoom. Spice it up with our Hallmark Movie Drinking Game (free printable on soulstyleproject.com)5. Make a gingerbread house.; or for a new spin on an old classic, make a charcuterie house.6. Neighborhood Tree Lighting - Coordinate a night with neighbors to turn all the holiday lights off, have a countdown and turn them all on at the same time. Bonus points if caroling is involved.7. Make a Wreath - Grab a wreath form and supplies from your local craft store, or go to your neighborhood tree lot and ask for free clippings (yes, they will give them to you!)8. Classic Holiday Movie Night - Have a movie marathon with your classic favorites and maybe one you’ve never seen. Load up on the popcorn and cocoa.9. Cocoa Bar - Include this with another activity on our list, or for a special treat any night. Make your cocoa in a slow cooker and set out treats to add in. Peppermint candies, chocolate chips, marshmallows and maybe some liqueurs for the adults.10. Family Craft Night - Have a fun night of crafting with simple ideas everyone can do. Paper chains, handprint Santas, stringing popcorn just to name a few. Check out Pinterest for more holiday craft ideas.11. Ugly Sweater Night - No parties this year? have your own and make some ugly sweaters with things you have on hand. Use battery lights, fabric scraps and tinsel. Get creative and have a contest for the best ugly sweater.12. Baking Night - Go all out with your favorite baked goods. Remember to make some treats for Santa and his reindeer so he will be extra good to you!

1. Movie night at home: We have been enjoying the classic 90’s series Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which is now streaming on Hulu. Some other family favorites Hocus Pocus, Frankenweenie, Hotel Transylvania and Coco. Make fun snacks like monster hands, mummy hotdogs and a graveyard cake. You can also play some fun Halloween games, like our Halloween Bingo!2. Host a Virtual Halloween Party: get everyone together using a virtual meeting site like Zoom. Create a virtual background that everyone can use so it feels like you’re at the same party. Put one person in charge of music and send out a menu ahead of time so you can all enjoy the same snacks. Have a virtual costume contest and let the kids parade in front of the camera.3. Drive-by Halloween Party: Plan a route with friends and family. Dress up your car with balloons, banners and signs.
