We are back! I know I've been gone a for a quick minute. However, I am back with even more guests and awesome tips to help you navigate college life. This week I brought in my friend Audi who is a graduate student, but not just any graduate student; a 19 year-old graduate student with her bachelor's already under her belt. She is dropping some major gems about what to expect from grad life and how to start considering different grad schools. Audi Walker's Bio Coming all the way from Daytona Beach, Fl, I am a 1st year psychology graduate student at FIU. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in psychology from FIU this past spring semester and I am currently pursuing a master's in psychology on the counseling track. After finishing my master's degree, I hope to finish my requirements to become a licensed mental health counselor and eventually open my own practice. The graduate school experience so far has been more fulfilling than my undergraduate experience. Everything is moving at a faster pace, but I feel like I am learning and growing a lot in this program. If you are thinking about going to graduate school, follow your heart and go for it if you know it's something you're passionate about. Follow Audi on IG: @audi_5000 We have a new segment, Ask Ace! This episode we dive into a lot of great gems on what it means to attend an HBCU and the pride that comes with it.
