All about digital marketing for coaches, consultants, educators, trainers and service providers. Oh and also about my beautiful community, single motherhood and my journey navigating through entrepreneurship while working 9-5.
WHOA! We just went through a wild and wonderful past four weeks of launching the Instagram Academy for Coaches 2021 (2nd Launch! Can you believe it?!). I remember the first time I launched my program. That first launch it was my friends and family and you, who had been supporting me throughout my journey. I was so freaked out the whole time, not exactly sure what to expect just as you were too. You also didn't quite understand what exactly I was launching or what does this whole "launch" mean in the first place. Yet, you showed up, watched my Masterclass and took the time out to message me, share it on your stories, send me emails and congratulatory messages. It was the best feeling ever! Yet, I did not celebrate it. Having a product of my own is such a big deal! It took me months to get to that stage! Yet, I was depressed that I couldn't enroll hundreds of people into my program (so stupid!). Ever since that first launch, I have had a very adverse feeling towards launches in general. It is time consuming, and on top of that, if you don't hit your targets, then halfway through the launch you wanna give up. Which is what I did that first time around. After launching my program, I probably spoke about IAC Doors being open for 1-2 days. After that I just curled up in my bed and said, I don't wanna sell anymore! I slept through my launch!
All my life, I never fit into any crowd. never felt like I belonged anywhere. After my therapy session and the self healing journey I am going through, I am starting to realize why this is the case. If you are also like me, feeling like you never fit in anywhere, well then, maybe this episode will give you more clarity. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message
About Therapy Immediately after my first session, I felt so exhausted and tired. I just went down stairs, put on meditation music and did some yoga. I thought to myself, what just happened? I expected him to ask me deep questions and then tell me who I am as a person or make some big revelations about my disorder or tell me something was wrong or that at least nothing was wrong. It was as if 2 friends were sitting and chatting. And I couldn't believe anybody could make me open up about my feelings. I hadn't opened up exactly to my therapist. I believed it was his responsibility to force me to open up. Like to some extent it felt like a challenge. “Try to read me if you can :P. let's see if you have those therapist powers :P :P”. My friend asked me what the therapist said. Whether he said I had a mental illness or not. Lol it is funny. And when I said I have weekly sessions coming up, to some extent my friend felt guilty. Guilty that she wasn't able to cure me. I love her. She is cute. She considers me and my happiness as her responsibility. So now, it's been almost a week since my session, and I have realized 7 key aspects this week. If you want to what it is, please keep listening. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message

There is obviously a lot of stigma around mental health and seeking therapy. Public stigma is defined as society's rejection of a person due to certain behaviors or physical appearances that are deemed unacceptable, dangerous or frightening. Because of the stigma that tends to follow mental health many individuals are hesitant to seek out help or treatment for themselves. Many suffer because their closest friends and family members do not understand them. In today's episode, I have a very special guest, my cousin, Bhavana. Bhavana works as a successful communications specialist in Dubai, speaks Korean fluently, and also travels around the world as the lead singer for Jesus Youth concerts. Bhavana is a strong advocate for mental health. In today's episode, Bhavana will be sharing her experience going through tremendous stress leading to hand tremors, panic attacks and nose bleeds to finally seeking therapy. This is what Bhavana has to say to anybody who wants to seek therapy, "You seek therapy when YOU feel you need it. Not after you've received everybody's validation, permission and blessing. You choose how to live your life". --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message
There is a lot of stigma surrounding therapy that even me, who is considered "bold" about talking about being a single mom cannot handle. The day I posted about me going to therapy, I received comments from my closest family and friends to not talk about it. Some of the comments I heard were.. "Are you doing this to get more attention?" "It will affect your business because people will not want to buy from mentally unstable person." "People will think you are weak." "Do you want to validate what your ex in laws told you?" Well, let's see what happens. All I know is, I want to understand who I am. Are my feelings valid? Why am I sad? What I am hoping to achieve is understand myself better which will help me be productive in life, my business and my relationships. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message

There is a very clear differentiation between the 7-figure coaches and the 4-figure ones. In the beginning, you wouldn't notice this difference. But then as you start interacting with them and consume their content, this difference becomes too loud to not notice. This is what I talk about in today's show. This episode was recorded in my car when I came across this post sent to me by my friend on Instagram. It is about people giving away free "advices" and "constructive criticisms" under the pretext of trying to help you get better when in reality it is just them trying to boost their ego and make themselves feel superior to you. What a great topic right? Tune it to listen to what I feel about this and the experience I have had with such superior people on the internet. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the competition around you? Or feeling like fraud? Or that you have way too many ideas and it does not seem normal? Do you feel burnt out with all the efforts you are putting yet not feeling like you are going in the right direction? Well, then. This episode is for you. Last night I had a conversation with one of my students. She just dropped me a message early morning saying she wanted to "talk to me". Now, I imagined the worst of the worse situations in my head and I couldn't shake this off. So the next day morning I spoke to her and these were the problems she was facing. I was relived that it wasn't anything serious however, I am very well aware of these feelings that you go through when you run your own show. Why? Because I have been in that exact same position! Oh! And don't forget, this feeling will always come back. In this episode, I tell you what I told my student and how to tackle imposter syndrome like this one. Have a listen and let me know if you've been in the same position. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message
There is one set of community that says that there is a difference. FREE content is the "WHAT" and the "WHY" and the PAID content is the "HOW TO". Then there is another set of community that says there is no difference. If our community needs help and you have the solution to their problem, then it is YOUR DUTY to solve it. You know what I think? I think, the right question to be asked is what is the difference between a "good leader" and a "great leader". Tune into this episode to know why. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message
Remember I told you how freaking shocked I was at launch a podcast? Well, guess what? Seems like I was just being over confident that comes from a place of incompetency (read about the Dunning Kruger Effect). In this episode, I talk all about how I had to spend 2 hours after a 5 minute podcast episode to market it. Now I totally get why this is not an easy platform to conquer. Tune in to learn more
Back in 2020, I tried doing everything from podcasting to YouTube, Clubhouse, Facebook, Twitter etc. In a way this was good because I realized how much efforts go into YouTube and whether it was worth it or the how soon you could build followers on Clubhouse, the target audience in Facebook etc. This failed though because I realized that it's not easy to do well in everything especially when you're just a beginner. To be successful, you must dominate one niche or one platform first, and then move onto the other ones. And that's exactly what I did. I decided to just target Instagram first, understand how it works, optimize my Instagram profile, complete my course and THEN move on to new platforms. Once this was done, I decided to choose podcasting because this seemed like the easiest platform for me to be consistent & offer immense value as well. In this episode, I dive deeper and exactly how I plan to go about it. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tania-stanly/message

In this episode I'm talking about the 2 main dilemmas that Indians face when they consider taking up social media seriously which is “what will people think?”. And then about “evil eye”. May 1st, 2021, 11:12 pm. Venue: my washroom. This venue is the most wrong choice ever because great audio will have minimum echo as possible. Anyway, I'm embracing my beginnings and so here it is. Same time next year, my podcasts will be quite perfect. I know I'll keep working on it all and make it seamless. And that's why I want to showcase my journey towards perfection in these early days.
