In today's episode I am answering a very popular question that we all have when running our Coaching Business and that is: Should I work with friends and family? Who you work with is very important. Coaching others through life and their goals can be a very vulnerable experience. Walking someone through discovering what's holding them back, their fears, challenges, limiting beliefs, and digging up some really strong emotions and thoughts is very uncomfortable for many. You are helping others to uncover and bring out to the light things that they have possibly been avoiding for years and this work needs to happen in order to see a breakthrough and create the plans needed to reach their goals, so again, knowing who to work with is important. Let's dig in and see how this work happens with friends and family or if it's best to not do it at all. xoxo, Jeannet Work with Jeannet: Apply for one on one private coaching: https://forms.gle/bwoTL8HCUDPmM1LY8 Get my FREE workbook to help you identify the skills you can monetize with an online business: https://www.jeannetsacks.com/monetizeskills Coaching Business Workshop: This Workshop is designed to take you from newbie to launching your own Online Coaching Business or restructure your current Coaching Program so it starts making you money. How do you balance massive business growth with the demands of motherhood? After a year of extraordinary growth and transformation, I've discovered that the more abundance I create in my business, the more abundance flows into my home life, and vice versa. This realization has completely shifted how I approach both entrepreneurship and motherhood. As I prepare to welcome my second child and head into maternity leave, I'm reflecting on the massive shifts that have happened in my business and personal life over the past year. In this episode, I'm sharing the real journey of evolving from focusing on material success to finding deep contentment in both my family and my work. You'll discover how I've grown my business while actually reducing complexity, why I'm choosing lean operations over empire-building, and how celebration and desire have become my primary drivers instead of discipline and willpower. This is about creating sustainable success that honors all parts of who you are. If you want to start making serious money as a coach, you need to check out 2k for 2k. Send Us a Message (include your contact info if you'd like a reply)Compassion fatigue silently affects countless divorce coaches—many don't even realize they're experiencing it until they're deep in burnout territory. Tracy and Debra tackle this critical topic by explaining how the very empathy that makes coaches effective can become their downfall without proper boundaries. The conversation dives into what compassion fatigue actually looks like in real coaching scenarios—that emotional exhaustion when you can't stop thinking about a client's problems, the way you might feel angry on behalf of a client, or how certain sessions leave you completely drained. These aren't just normal professional challenges; they're warning signs that your professional container needs reinforcement. What makes this episode particularly valuable is the practical framework Tracy and Debra provide for maintaining a sustainable coaching practice. They introduce the concept of the "professional container"—both external (how you structure your practice) and internal (how you manage your mindset and emotional responses). This container isn't about distancing yourself from clients' pain but rather creating boundaries that allow you to provide consistent, clear-headed support without absorbing their trauma. The most powerful insight comes when they assert: "Empathy without containment becomes contagion." This perspective shift alone could transform how coaches approach their work. Rather than seeing boundaries as limitations on caring, Tracy and Debra reframe them as the essential infrastructure that makes deep, sustainable compassion possible.Whether you're new to divorce coaching or a seasoned professional who's feeling the weight of client struggles, this episode offers concrete strategies to strengthen your practice—from establishing rituals of release between sessions to engaging in regular peer support and continuing education. These aren't just self-care luxuries; they're professional necessities for anyone committed to this emotionally demanding field.Curious about strengthening your professional container? Are you stuck in indecision, constantly searching for clarity but not sure where to look? In this episode of the Lead Your Life Podcast, I'm sharing two powerful Universal Laws—Polarity and Non-Resistance—that will completely reframe the way you approach confusion, chaos, and decision-making in your life and business. These laws aren't just spiritual concepts. They're practical tools that, when understood, will help you let go of the fight and start receiving the clarity, momentum, and support that's already available. I've seen it in my own life and with clients over and over again: resistance blocks the very breakthrough you're asking for. So let's get real about where you're pushing, what you're avoiding, and how to shift your energy to finally move forward. ☑️ The real reason clarity and confusion exist in the same energetic space ☑️ How resistance shows up in sneaky, disguised ways (hello, planner shopping!) ☑️ What happens when you stop trying to control the outcome and start trusting the process If you've been spinning in self-doubt or circling the same decision without movement, this episode is your sign to stop pushing and start aligning. And if the message resonated, know this: you don't have to figure it all out first before saying yes to your next level. Ready to say yes to your clarity? Join me for the Cast Your Vision Retreat happening October 23rd–26th in Sandpoint, Idaho. Together, we'll turn these laws into aligned action, practical vision, and bold movement. What does it really take to build a podcast that reaches hundreds of millions of people? In this episode, Brad sits down with Rob Dial – creator of The Mindset Mentor podcast, which has racked up over 400 million downloads – to dig into how he's turned coaching into a real business. Not a personal brand with a few viral moments, but a systemized operation that's trained over 3,000 coaches and reaches millions every month. Rob shares how he builds structure into everything from podcast scripts to business operations, how he uses AI to streamline content creation, and why mindset alone won't get you anywhere without consistent action. He even shares how his background in songwriting (yeah, songwriting) gave him the formula for making content that people resonate with. If you've been posting content without a strategy – or banking on manifestation to grow your business – this one might be a gut check. But it'll also give you a much clearer lens on what actually works. In this episode, I get into something most coaches avoid: their own resistance. And yes, I mean you. The part of you that thinks, “Ugh, I hate this. I don't want to do … (marketing, accounting, sales, follow ups, etc). I wish it would just go away.” That, my friend, is resistance. And it's likely running the show in your business more than you realize. I share a story that helped me feel the concept of resistance in my body—and why bending (instead of bracing) is the secret to taking back control. Whether you're resisting your marketing, your pricing, or your next move, this is your call to get honest. Let's name it and shift it together. Ready for next steps? - Welche Denkfehler uns davon abhalten, unsere Coaching-Tätigkeit solide aufzustellen. - Und: Was dein Coaching-Business sinnstiftend und wirtschaftlich wachsen lässt. Ich wünsche dir ganz viel Freude mit dieser Episode! Deine Christine

I'm sharing something I've only recently admitted to myself—and now I'm sharing it with you. I've gone soft. I'm talking emotionally, mentally, physically... and I know I'm not the only one. After decades of grinding, healing, and rebuilding, I finally slowed down—and while that was necessary, it came with an unintended side effect: I lost my fire. This is a wake-up call. For those of you who have already done the hard healing work—who've survived, overcome, and now find yourself feeling unfulfilled in the aftermath—this episode is your invitation to get back in the game. I'm launching a 90-day challenge that's all about Finding Your Hard again. It's not for the faint of heart, and it's definitely not for those still in the softness phase. In this episode of Beyond Private Practice, I'm sharing why belief and safety are actual business strategies — especially for first-gen therapists who are ready to add coaching to their work but feel like they're starting from scratch. You'll hear a powerful story from Karol G that sparked this episode, and how her journey mirrors so much of what we go through as daughters of immigrants: feeling the dream, losing the dream, and needing someone we trust to help us feel safe enough to try again. I also share my personal story of building a half-a-million-dollar business with nothing but a stimulus check and a whole lot of belief — even when it was borrowed — and how safety shaped every step of my growth. This episode is for the therapist who: Feels scared to pivot or expand their work Thinks they have to “start over” to add coaching Worries about visibility, judgment, or doing it wrong Needs to feel seen, supported, and safe enough to take the first step Here's What You'll Learn: Why belief — even when it's borrowed — is a valid and powerful strategy How emotional safety makes it possible to show up, dream bigger, and take aligned action The truth about adding coaching: you're not starting over, you're expanding A real-life client story of what happens when you let yourself be seen, even imperfectly — and how she booked a consult in less than 24 hours Why so many of us feel like we have to crack a code — and how to stop playing the game of trying to prove yourself If you're a first-gen therapist who wants to feel safer being seen, excited about what you're building, and grounded in a business that reflects your story and your values — this episode is your reminder that you're not behind. You're just waiting for the support, belief, and permission to do it your way. In this candid, strategy-packed episode, Debra and Tracy tackle the question they hear most frequently: "How do I find clients?" Drawing from years of experience building successful practices and mentoring coaches, they reveal seven powerful, field-tested strategies that go far beyond superficial marketing tactics. At the heart of their approach lies a fundamental truth—successful client acquisition in divorce coaching depends on authentic relationship-building rather than flashy marketing schemes. Tracy and Debra emphasize the importance of defining your ideal client avatar with precision, explaining that "specificity is your superpower" in connecting meaningfully with potential clients. They share that approximately 70-80% of successful coaches find clients through strategic referral partnerships with professionals ranging from attorneys and therapists to hairstylists and personal trainers—essentially anyone your ideal client might confide in during their divorce journey. The conversation flows through practical digital marketing approaches (including website essentials and content creation), community involvement strategies, directory listings, testimonial gathering, and follow-up systems. Throughout, Debra and Tracy punctuate their advice with real-world examples from their own experiences and those of coaches in their community. Their guidance is refreshingly honest, acknowledging that building a coaching practice takes patience and persistence, especially in a field where clients need to trust you with such vulnerable aspects of their lives.Whether you're just starting out or looking to grow an established practice, this episode provides a roadmap for connecting with the clients who need your services most. One opening left starting this summer as of now.A coach I worked with kept backsliding. In session, their certainty would click in. But a day or two later, that dissolved and in its place was paralyzing overwhelm and doubt. We'd meet again and their sense of purpose would roll back in. They left the session feeling sure of their direction and ready to take action, only to get stuck in another deep internal struggle.I remember that lost feeling as a new coach. I didn't believe that I had what it takes, so I got in my own way.Comparison was the trigger. And that's what stole away my client's sense of purpose … they kept looking at other coach's websites and social profiles.Shame spiraled into this dark story. Their internal dialogue was:I'm not good enough. This will never work.Maybe I should give up!How can you stop this downward spiral?I'd love to hear from you. What happens when your inner voice is silenced for decades—and what does it take to finally hear it again? In this powerful episode, I sit down with the courageous Luna Marie, a woman who spent over 40 years in high-control religious environments that dictated her identity, worth, and even her right to trust her own voice. Luna opens up about what it was like to grow up in a belief system that equated love with pain and obedience with value - and how she finally broke free to rediscover her true self. What I admire most about Luna is her refusal to see herself as a victim. Her story is not only one of healing, but of deep self-responsibility, strength, and authenticity. If you've ever struggled with people-pleasing, codependency, or feeling like you can't trust your intuition, this conversation will speak to your soul. ☑️ The pivotal moment that helped Luna realize she was living under mental and spiritual control ☑️ How removing herself from a toxic environment allowed her to finally begin deconstructing old beliefs ☑️ The importance of community, somatic healing, and reconnecting with your body's wisdom You don't have to stay stuck in systems that diminish you. There is another way - one where you live in harmony, speak your truth, and build a life that feels aligned and fully yours. More About Luna: Luna is a courageous feminine voice reclaiming sovereignty after decades shaped by religious indoctrination and cultural silencing. After a lifetime in high-control religious systems, she now speaks from the heart of her lived experience—unraveling inherited beliefs, healing generational lineages, and inviting others to do the same. She's built a successful business, raised daughters with radical love, and is now stepping into the next chapter: sharing her voice in ways that liberate not just herself, but those still awakening to their own fire. She believes in truth over performance, resonance over perfection, and the sacred right of every woman to speak what was once forbidden. Vulnerability is not a marketing strategy—it's a human strategy. In this solo episode, I open up about the deep emotional cost of hiding behind polished content and perfectionism. For years, I kept things “professional” in my business, thinking that showing up with raw honesty would damage my credibility. But it did the opposite. It disconnected me from my audience, my mission, and even myself. If you've been scared to show up as your whole self online—or you're afraid your story is “too much”—this episode is your permission slip to be real, to be messy, and to still lead. Key Takeaways Why your business can't grow without emotional connection How perfectionism and fear of judgment keep you stuck The real difference between oversharing and powerful storytelling How to share from the scar, not the wound Why your story doesn't need to be dramatic to be valuable The “Me Too” rule for sharing vulnerably How vulnerability leads to better discovery calls, deeper clients, and lasting trust Why polished funnels can't replace human connection What it means to show up without a script—but with purpose Resources Mentioned YourHealthCoachBiz.com – Done-for-you content, funnels, and programs to support authentic connection Tools to practice vulnerability: Instagram Stories, micro shares, and journaling prompts Influencers who model it well: Jenna Kutcher and other real-voice creators This is your nudge.
