Stacey and Mark are joined by Mary Ann Oliveri and Jacqulyn Miles. This is a very special episode for us because TwentyFiveEight has been working alongside Mary Ann and Jacqulyn on an Opioid Awareness video. Somebody’s Someone” for the past few months. It is of extra importance to us all because of the opioid pandemic affecting our nation right now. Everyone on our show has been affected by this in one way or another. Mary Ann lost her beautiful daughter, Sarah over a year and a half ago, and that is the catalyst for this project. Mary Ann and her husband, Dave, have turned into not only great friends of ours, but heroes. We wanted to honor all those that we lost, and the ones that are still fighting. This weekend, October the 6th, we are having a preview event at Lackawanna College. The event is at the Theater at Lackawanna College, starting at 2pm. We encourage anyone who would like more information, lost a loved one, or are still battling this disease to attend. It’s a beautiful project, involving amazing people, who have all been selfless with their time. We are proud of this, and we are proud of Mary Ann and Dave for their courage and honesty.

Josh speaks about how he got to that fateful day in 2016 and what his life is like now.The opioid pandemic is not unique to other places in the country, it’s here in NEPA, don’t be unaware of that.Josh really hopes to spread his message of hope, and helping those in crisis, and we were privileged to have him sit and talk with us.
Stacey and Markie continue our conversation about the current state of affairs in America. Once again, we realize that no matter what opinion or facts that we talk about will be considered bias by most, and being that no politician in their right mind would come onto our show, we went with the next best thing, Joe Van Wie. Joe is the Owner of JVW INC. and has done campaigns for many reputable local politicians. He has a savvy mind, and a keen insight to see what is behind the curtain. **Friendly Reminder** This is just a podcast, if you don’t agree, don’t agree. Lets not turn this into a firestorm of tit for tat based solely on identity. We hope you enjoy the conversation, and we hope it encourages you to get involved in the process, regardless of affiliation.
