She is a Norwegian powerhouse who set off in search of her musical dreams at the tender age of nineteen. Landing in Los Angeles, Zia quickly made waves with her angelic voice and her "I can do anything" attitude. After enduring the trauma of an extremely bad relationship, Zia came out stronger than ever and emerged fully formed with her release Unbridled and Ablaze. Some 6 years later, Zia has chosen to reinvent herself yet again and is shedding her sultry skin for "glitchy and jagged and dirty and grimy". We have it all in an Art Unknown Podcast exclusive! It's that thing we can all connect over." - Cole Scheifele As a young up-and-coming musician, Cole Scheifele (shife lee) may inhabit the body of a young 20-something, but his folk music emanates from a very old soul. He is deep and reflective and his prose will get inside your head. His desire to break into the music scene was hit head-on by the COVID-19 pandemic so Cole did what any enterprising musician might do; he decided to cut an album. With a five-song EP under his belt, Cole set out to get the long-standing melodies and lyrics out of his head and into a form that might resonate with others. Over this past year, he has worked hard to develop and expand his musical style and partnered with many accomplished musicians that helped him realize his aspirations to create a full-length album. His first track "All the While" opens and closes this podcast episode and we are very excited for the upcoming release of his first full-length album, The Hideaways. In the meantime, check out his 2019 EP, Everything Matters, Nothing Matters at All wherever you listen to your music. images from Cole Scheifele - used with permission cole scheifele website MORE ART UNKNOWN PODCASTS.fusion-portfolio-wrapper#fusion-portfolio-1 .fusion-portfolio-content{ padding: 25px 25px 25px 25px; text-align: center; }.fusion-portfolio-1 .fusion-portfolio-wrapper .fusion-col-spacing{padding:20px;}Crave Magazine2021-03-31T17:49:53-06:00 Ep41 Cole Scheifele Ep41 Cole ScheifeleCrave Magazine2021-03-11T09:54:20-07:00 Ep40 Jensen Sutta-Part 2 Ep40 Jensen Sutta-Part 2Crave Magazine2021-03-11T09:04:41-07:00 Ep39 Jensen Sutta-Part 1 Ep39 Jensen Sutta-Part 1Crave Magazine2021-03-01T15:35:10-07:00 Ep38 Patricia McInroy Ep38 Patricia McInroyCrave Magazine2021-03-01T15:36:22-07:00 Ep37 Adrianne Tamar Arachne Ep37 Adrianne Tamar ArachneCrave Magazine2021-03-01T15:37:22-07:00 Ep36 Lé Secret Ep36 Lé SecretCrave Magazine2021-03-01T15:40:18-07:00 Ep35 Ariana Gradow Ep35 Ariana GradowCrave Magazine2021-03-01T15:41:22-07:00 Ep34 Ben Makinen Ep34 Ben MakinenCrave Magazine2021-03-01T16:24:28-07:00 Ep33 Morgan Mandala & Randal Roberts Ep33 Morgan Mandala & Randal RobertsCrave Magazine2021-03-01T16:33:22-07:00 Ep32 Gamelan Tunas Mekar Ep32 Gamelan Tunas MekarCrave Magazine2021-03-02T16:06:52-07:00 Ep31 Talk Gallery Ep31 Talk GalleryCrave Magazine2021-03-01T16:46:26-07:00 Ep30 Andrew Clark Ep30 Andrew ClarkCrave Magazine2021-03-01T16:47:46-07:00 Ep29 Joshua Gillow Ep29 Joshua GillowCrave Magazine2021-03-02T07:13:37-07:00 Ep 28: Okuda San Miguel

In our first ever 2 part episode (Part 1 - Ep39) we expand on the ideas of networking and customer service and why both are so important in any business. We also discuss the impact of COVID-19 on Jensen's career and the shift he made during the shutdown to continue working. Jensen utilized his downtime from behind the shutter to organize his celebrity portraits and published the coffee table book Five Feet From Greatness. Not only is it a great way to showcase and share his past work, he wisely is using his book as a marketing tool, to remind his clients he is out there, ready to get back to work as COVID leaves us. It was a pleasure to reconnect with Jensen and I'm was glad to see him happy and healthy and the work coming back for him. West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy is Now Open! 8am-9am PT/ 11am-Noon ET for our especially special Daily Specials; Tarrytown Chowder Tuesdays!Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, nobody deserves to be ripped to shreds more than Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, so John Oliver does the good deed for us all.On the rest of the menu, Texas Republicans passed a law to hide evidence of their illegal power grabs; US Democratic Senator of Nevada, Jacky Rosen, announced she would block two of Trump's nominees for positions in DHS over the 'horrendous conditions' for kids in his concentration camps; and, former national security advisor Susan Rice called Trump's lie about Obama and North Korea, 'Horse-sh*t.'After the break, we move to the Chef's Table where Russia called on Trump to agree to a prisoner swap, or else; and, it is ‘especially perverse' for Harvard to hire toxic people like Rick Snyder in the name of ‘civility.'All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.Bon Appétit!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~“As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.” ― Ernest Hemingway "A Moveable Feast"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Show Notes & Links: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/7/2/1868874/-West-Coast-Cookbook-amp-Speakeasy-Daily-Special-Tarrytown-Chowder-Tuesdays?_=2019-07-02T07:56:41.902-07:00
special bootleg recording YEMANJÁ, ALWAYS INSPIRING GOOD MUSIC In the olden days, New Year's Eve in Copacabana was not a gathering of millions of people around totems of consumerism and pop music. It was a place of spirituality and prayer to the "children of Yemanjá". These guys, the 'offspring of the sea', would gracefully share that blessing with the growing numbers of people who joined them in the ritual, both as believers and observers. Today you can only hope to experience any of this if you come to the beach a few days before New Years Eve. Not quite as symbolic, but still very moving. Listen to this episode recorded on 29th December at Leme Beach Rio de Janeiro and take in the Yemanjá vibes brought to you by the Caipirinha Appreciation Society.
