You wouldn't talk to your best mate in the critical way you talk to yourself. For Radio One DJs Matt Edmondson and Mollie King, their friendship has made them both believe in themselves more.In this chat with Fearne, Matt and Mollie talk about the insecurities they have, and how freeing it is to realise no one else thinks those things about you. For Mollie, having children has helped her be a lot kinder to herself too.Fearne is less bothered about ruffling feathers in the workplace than she used to be, and shares advice on how to confidently speak your mind, and they all wonder why everyone's trying to be ‘cool'. What does that even mean?!Plus, was it Matt or Mollie who put Fearne and her Radio One show on their vision board back in the day...?You can listen to Matt and Mollie's new podcast, Novel Idea, now!Get your tickets for Fearne's book tour here.If you liked this episode of Happy Place, you might also like:Matt's first Happy Place chatNick GrimshawAnnie Mac Hosted on Acast. As a single Christian woman, you've probably heard teachings on biblical submission in marriage—passages like Ephesians 5:22-24 that call wives to “submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.” But what does that mean for you right now, while you’re unmarried? Does submission only apply once you say “I do,” or is there something deeper God wants to cultivate in your heart during this season of singleness? The good news? What if one native plant could fundamentally change how your grazing system performs, even through drought? In this episode, Local Land Services Cropping Ag Advisor, Tim Bartimote, sits down with Andy and Ben Sippel from Saltbush Plains to unpack decades of hands-on experience using old man saltbush as a backbone species in grazing systems. From transforming degraded cropping country into resilient perennial pasture, to maintaining high stocking rates independent of rainfall, they share why deep-rooted native shrubs are one of Australia’s most underutilised agricultural assets. You’ll hear how saltbush supports livestock performance with year-round green feed, high protein levels, and exceptional water-use efficiency, plus how smart grazing management turns ecological strength into economic strength. This is a practical, grounded conversation for producers interested in building resilient pastures, reducing inputs, and working with Australia’s landscapes, not against them. Dena Lewis has been a runner for over two decades and running is a core part of her life and well-being. But also, Dena has been attacked twice while running. She talks about these attacks in her story, and she talks about returning to running afterward—because running is such an important part of her life. These are the difficult realities of running as a woman, and I'm really thankful Dena is willing to share her story publicly. As you'll hear, this wasn't her first instinct: through and through, being assaulted is horrible. These assaults did clarify for Dena what she now sees as her life's purpose: she came to the point where she wanted to commit herself to helping to make runners safer. Through her experiences, Dena realized that there was a service she would have loved to use to help her feel safe while running, but it didn't exist. So, she created it. Dena is the founder and CEO of Running Mate, which she describes as UBER for runners. In addition to providing the service of being able hire someone to run with you, Running Mate is also involved in numerous safety awareness, support, and educational efforts.
