Tracy said, “Right now we have 14 churches and business partners packing and distributing ‘snack packs’ to students in schools in Albuquerque, Bosque Farms, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, and Pecos, NM. We need more partners and more individual support to make sure everyone can eat. Over 4000 students are receiving food every week!” It is heartbreaking to think that 1 in 3 children is food insecure in New Mexico! Chance and Katie Butts of  LifeQuest USA visit with Jim Williams about their ministry’s focus on mentoring young people to help break the chains of generational incarceration. Chance as a young man is the perfect example of how a person can experience freedom in Christ from sin and habits that are more often than not, passed down from generation to generation. The success of the ministry is limited only by the number of volunteer mentors they can train to encourage young people that need to “disrupt their current way of thinking” according to Katie. Volunteer mentors help support Bible studies, GED Tutoring, character development, recovery groups, the 4:13 Journey, and other special events.
