Special Note: As you know, we typically record our episodes in advance. This episode was recorded at the beginning of 2026 so you'll hear a lot about being in a new year with focus on new beginnings. And while we are already well into Lent, Jodi Snowdon's message is powerful no matter what season we find ourselves in. We hope you enjoy this episode. ***ShownotesWe're in a New Year, new year's resolutions, a time for transformation and often in grief, we have mixed feelings. On one end, it's a fresh start, an opportunity to look to change, but on the other end, we move into uncharted waters and the grief and heartbreak follow with us. We ask those simple questions. God, it's supposed to be a new year. Why do I still feel miserable? Why hasn't this pain ended? How much longer do I need to stay in this space? But this is also where God meets us and the true transformation begins. In this episode, we are going to talk about why not one moment of suffering is wasted and how each of these moments can actually turn us into who God wants us to be. Our GuestJodi Snowdon is an author, podcaster, and speaker who helps women grow deeper in their faith and stronger in their relationships. Through God's strength, she emerged from miscarriage, divorce, and losing a dear friend to cancer to help women everywhere experience hope, joy, and purpose through life's unexpected storms. Open Your Eyes by Kirk Hunt And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:17 NKJV Read also: 2 Kings 6:8-23 The eyes of Elisha and his young servant saw the same thing. They were surrounded by the Syrian army. Elisha's calm confidence lay in God's army of fire that “filled the mountain.” Elisha prayed, “open his eyes.” I pray that God will open your eyes. God's people see the sin, error, cruelty and selfishness. Too often we forget to look with spiritual eyes. Elisha did not deny the Syrians surrounded them. The prophet also saw that God's power exceeded the armed invaders. Angels stood near and ready to act at Elisha's word. Through God's power, a single man subdued an enemy host, and without inflicting a casualty. Open your eyes to God's power that fills your mountain. There is no good reason you cannot subdue an enemy host that opposes God's Kingdom. To the untrained eye, God's saints seem outnumbered and outgunned. I pray God will open your eyes to His power and wisdom that surrounds you. There are horses and chariots of fire ready to fulfill God's mission and purpose in your life. Do not deny what your natural eyes see. See, with spiritual eyes, the power and provision that God has prepared for your use. Subdue the enemies of God with mercy, then nourish them with grace. Think: What should you see with spiritual eyes? Pray: “Lord, help me to see Your solutions and salvation through spiritual eyes.” Copyright © February 2026, Kirk Hunt This devotional is a ministry of CadreMen Press. What happens when humanity attempts unity without God? In Genesis 11's Tower of Babel story, Pastor Van explores how civic religion—using religious symbols for earthly gain—leads to division and destruction. Through God's mercy, He scattered people into different languages and nations, not as punishment but as protection from human pride. Yet in Acts 2, we glimpse God's ultimate plan: true unity through Jesus Christ, where every nation, tribe and tongue worships together while celebrating their God-given diversity. Don't miss this powerful message about finding genuine unity in Christ alone.

Inn this powerful and encouraging session, Pastor Richard Nickerson taught from 1 Samuel 30 and Joel 2, releasing a timely word on restoration and recovery. Drawing from Scripture, he emphasized the divine partnership between God and His people; God brings restoration, and we are empowered to recover what was lost. This teaching reminded listeners that recovery is not passive. Through God's restoring work, believers are given authority, strength, and clarity to pursue what was taken and reclaim what belongs to them. As we continue this season of consecration, this word affirmed that loss is not the end of the story and that God's restoration positions us for intentional recovery. Before closing in prayer, Pastor Nickerson offered a moving prayer over Overseer Azizah Morrison, acknowledging her call and assignment to lead God's people through this 40-day fast, and invited the community to pray for her as she has faithfully prayed for them. This session was both strengthening and affirming, calling God's people to step forward in faith, partnership, and expectation as restoration leads to recovery.
Rebecca had Judaism in her background, but was raised in a fundamentalist form of Pentecostalism that she rebelled against strongly, going deep into a world of regrettable life decisions. Through God's providence and some key relationships, she began to come back to faith, and was surprised to find, after her initial Christian conversion, that her true spiritual home was in the Catholic Church. She now works helping women in crisis pregnancies in Steubenville, OH.

By Andy Wagner - The tongue is small, yet powerful — like a rudder, that can steer the entire direction of our lives. Through God's Spirit, we must learn self-control in our words.
In times of trial, we are called to active faith, strengthening our spiritual discipline rather than retreating or remaining passive. James urges us to turn our eyes to God, asking for His wisdom with confident faith and a humble willingness to receive what He gives. Through God's Word and prayer, we choose to trust His sovereignty and endure faithfully until the end.

We begin our study in the Bible's smallest books by looking at the book of Obadiah. This book, unfamiliar to many Christians, teaches us important things about God. Through God's judgment on the nation of Edom, we see that God is powerful, a just judge, and is faithful to the gracious promises he has made.
Through God's discipline, even hardships and setbacks can cultivate Christlike character and spiritual growth. -------- Thank you for listening! In the fifty-second episode of the Inspiring Stewards podcast, Nathan Jones speaks with Clement Hlama from Chad. Clement grew up in a church in a remote village where his father was a pastor. Through God's Word, he came to know Jesus personally. Over the years, he has had different roles and currently serves as a board member of the National Evangelical Fellowship. Clement sees God at work today, even though people face many challenges, including persecution. Today, in the “afternoon” of his life, he invests his time and energy in equipping, training, and mentoring the younger generation. He concludes by encouraging people to pray for more GTP French resources to help equip church and ministry workers across the Francophone world. We'd love to hear your thoughts, comments, or feedback. As we explore the histories of the women listed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ, as recorded in Matthew 1, we take note of the inclusion of Bathsheba. In today's message, Pastor Phil explores the story of David's sin of adultery and murder in taking Uriah's wife to be his own. Through God's mercy, we see that David's sin is forgiven, and that Bathsheba's dignity is restored.
Through God's love story the bible, there are many instances of the acceptance and acknowledgement of God's right to rule and reign. One of the most beautiful and spectacular moments of worship depicted is in the New Testament. This week we will continue to explore the name Immanuel—“God with Us”—showing that God's presence is experienced in moments of suffering, as seen in the story of Hagar and Ishmael. Through God's questions, compassion, and provision for Hagar, we learn that God sees us, knows us, and brings hope even when grief/suffering can blind us to what is already there.
In this message, we learned that a Crossover is not about distance but dimension—God shifting us from old cycles into new identity. Joshua 6 shows us that the fights we face today often began in the generations before us, but what we refuse to confront will eventually confront our future. Through God's strange strategy of marching, silence, and obedience, He wasn't just bringing down the walls around Israel—He was breaking the generational cycles within them. The good news is the fight is fixed: God already declared victory, but He invites us to walk it out. And when we choose to break cycles instead of repeat them, our children inherit our worship, not our walls—this is our Crossover. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

He paid off $56,696 in student loans in his early 20s — but it didn't happen overnight. In this inspiring part two of Jon Carothers' story, we dive into the faith, mindset, and habits that made it possible.
Ever long to hear, “I'm proud of you?” God's words over us bring the ultimate affirmation. In Mark 1:11, He said to Jesus, “You are my Son, whom I love, and with you I am well pleased.” If Jesus needed these words, how much more do we?Through God's adoption of us (Ephesians 1:5-14) and the sealing of the Holy Spirit, we are already beloved. Receiving His affirmation heals, strengthens, and frees us to live from identity, not approval.Embrace your place as God's treasured child—and share this truth with someone today.

In the midst of that, God invites us to recognize that our desires aren't bad, but they're broken, and He provides healing and holiness.
