(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark British street preacher faced Muslim death threats A court in the United Kingdom threw out a case against a Christian street preacher this week. Back in 2023, Karandeep Mamman faced death threats from a group of Muslims for sharing the Gospel with them. To his shock, police later charged him with causing religiously aggravated harassment.  Karandeep won his case in court thanks to the help of the Christian Legal Centre. Andrea Williams, a leader with the Christian Legal Centre, said, “The CCTV footage reveals Karandeep being assaulted, threatened and surrounded, for expressing his Christian beliefs, yet it is he that ends up being prosecuted by the police.”  After the ruling, Karandeep said, “I am relieved and pleased that the judge threw the case out and I give all the glory to Jesus.” In Romans 1:16, the Apostle Paul wrote, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” Ukraine agrees to 30-day ceasefire with Russia Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire in the war with Russia.  U.S. and Ukrainian officials announced the agreement yesterday after talks in Saudi Arabia. The ceasefire is now pending approval by Russia.  Secretary of State Marco Rubio led the U.S. delegation. RUBIO: “We'll take this offer now to the Russians, and we hope that they'll say yes, that they'll say yes to peace. The ball is now in their court.  But again, the President's objective, [Donald Trump], here is number one above everything else. He wants the war to end, and I think today, Ukraine has taken a concrete step in that regard. We hope the Russians will reciprocate.” Rubio added, “It'll be up to [Russia] to say yes or no. If they say no, then we'll unfortunately know what the impediment is to peace here.” Following Ukraine's agreement to the ceasefire, the Trump administration said it would resume military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.   United States increasing influence over Panama Canal The United States is increasing its influence over the Panama Canal. BlackRock, the American investment company, is leading a consortium to buy over 40 ports in 23 countries for $23 billion. A conglomerate based in Hong Kong is selling its control of the ports. The deal includes the ports on either end of the Panama Canal as well as ports in Mexico, the Netherlands, Egypt, Australia, and Pakistan.  President Donald Trump touted the deal as reclaiming the Panama Canal from Chinese influence.  House OKs continuing resolution funding gov't through end of fiscal year On Tuesday, the House voted 217-213 to pass the Republicans' continuing resolution that would avert a partial government shutdown that was set to begin Friday. The bill will now go to the Senate, where its prospects remain uncertain, reports The Daily Signal. The GOP-backed Continuing Resolution passed the House along party lines with the exception of Republican Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky who remained the only Republican in opposition. All Democrats voted against it, except Democratic Congressman Jared Golden of Maine. Now, the Continuing Resolution will face an even greater test in the Senate, where Republicans will have to win over the votes of at least seven Democrats or independents in order to bring the bill to the floor. Navy no longer pays for abortion travel The U.S. Navy announced last week it will no longer cover travel-related expense or provide leave for its service members to get abortions. The new policy ends a pro-abortion policy from the Biden administration. The Coast Guard also updated its policies to no longer cover travel expenses or grant leave for abortions. YouTube TV discriminates against Christian programming The Federal Communications Commission is questioning YouTube TV over allegations that it discriminates against Christian programming.  Brendan Carr, the Chairman of the FCC, sent a letter last week to the CEOs of Alphabet and Google which own YouTube TV. The letter cites a complaint from Great American Media. The network shares family-friendly and Christian content. It's one of the fastest growing networks and is carried on many cable and streaming services, but not on YouTube TV.  Carr noted, “These concerning allegations come at a time when American public discourse has experienced an unprecedented—and unacceptable—surge in censorship.” Franklin Graham preached to 400,000 Ethiopians And finally, Evangelist Franklin Graham preached to over 400,000 people in Ethiopia this past weekend. GRAHAM: “He took your sins and my sins, and He went to the grave. He died. He was buried, but on the third day, God raised His Son to life. Jesus isn't dead. He is alive.  He's in Ethiopia tonight, and He'll come into each and every heart that invites Him.” The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association organized the event with over 1,600 Evangelical churches in the country. They held the event in Meskal Square in Ethiopia's capital of Addis Ababa. Meskal Square means “Cross Square.” The square was the place where infamous Communist rallies once took place. During the event, Graham posted on Facebook. What would you do if your child decided to identify as a bird and thought they could fly off of the stairs? You would stop them to protect them from getting hurt. Yet today many children are being influenced to harm themselves through body mutilation and toxic, life-altering drugs because they ‘identify' as something they are not – and parents, doctors and the government are not only complying, they are advocating for it. Before gender identity was ever a political issue, it was a Biblical issue. Genesis 1:27 says, “And God made man in His own likeness. In the likeness of God He made him. While Oregon is known to be a hotbed for the progressive, secular agenda, the perverse and disturbing depravity their children were exposed to solidified their decision to move them to a private school. Our education system is actively taking steps to indoctrinate our children – and they don't want parents to know. Whether it's Critical Race Theory, gender theory, or social Marxism, many anti-Biblical and anti-American ideologies which are destructive to the core traditional values many families have are shaping future generations.While putting kids in private school or homeschooling isn't always an option, being informed is the first step to making a change. Parents need to know what their kids are being taught – and who is teaching them – and take steps to make sure their voices and concerns are heard. Our greatest mission field is our kitchen table. Who will preserve and protect the most vulnerable people in our society? I've talked about abortion on the #FearlessPodcast many times. This is one of those topics that people seem to confuse between being a personal/political issue or a Biblical one. But the Bible is very clear – Thou shall not kill. These are four simple words that have literally divided this nation and the churches within it. When Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022, the press and social media misinformation was used to scare women. Yet, this “right” has not been taken away and it's not the only option. The decision to have an abortion used to be a last resort. Out of desperation or fear, women thought they didn't have a choice. But now it is championed. It's paraded. It's bragged about. It shouted about from steps at our Capitol. It's become an active form of birth control. Far too many people – Christian or not – have sat silent because we all know someone (whether we are aware of it or not) who has faced this unfathomable “choice.” One out of four women in the U.S. have had an abortion. It's up to the church to show love and support to these women and children through these difficult circumstances and let them know it's never too late for God's grace and forgiveness. Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I'm tackling reproductive rights – one of the 8 topics in my Election Prayer Guide – and why it's so important to know what your state and elected officials' stance is on this issue that affects the future of our nation. We lock the front door of our house to protect our family. If you wouldn't let a person you don't know walk into your home, why would you want someone who is unknown walking into the front door of our country? Immigration and national security are tough topics for many Christians. We are called to love our neighbor and take care of the widows and orphans. But we also called to submit to the governing authority. My dad has said the job of the church is to love people, but the job of the government is to provide careful security for its citizens. This is another issue that is not just political, but it's Biblical. Plus, a storm is brewing within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church—some are asking if the denomination will stay true to its mission. And, the leaders of Kanakuk Kamps are the defendants in a sexual abuse-related lawsuit. They tried to get parts of that lawsuit dismissed—and the court has handed down its decision. We'll take a look. But first, a class action lawsuit has been filed against Gateway Church and its former pastor Robert Morris. Gateway Church, headquartered in the Dallas suburb of Southlake, has been facing a multitude of allegations and controversies after Cindy Clemishire's sexual abuse allegations against founding pastor Robert Morris led to his resignation. Now, a class action lawsuit has been filed against the church in federal court by members who are concerned about the stewardship of the money they contributed. My family recently moved back to my hometown of Boone, North Carolina – just one of the communities across the Southeast where Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage. Hurricane Helene Podcast       Came ashore around 9 pm on September 26th.   Hit the big bend area of Florida and traveled across Florida, Georgia, NW South Carolina, Western North Carolina and East/Central Tennessee   Massive devastation and loss of life have occurred. Death toll has exceeded 100 and it is climbing.   Whole towns have been destroyed and many large cities have been crippled.   Interstate 40 and 26 have had road and bridge washouts. Side highways and other roadways have been destroyed and/or compromised.   Charitable organizations are mobilizing to bring much needed food, water and shelter as soon as they can.   What can you do? Plenty… It has been said that CASH is KING! And it is if you know who you are donating too.   Our choice is Samaritans Purse. They are located in Boone NC and they're area has been hit hard. Money helps get the ball rolling and they also have volunteer needs to go into the areas that are in need. The rebuilding will take many years due to the shear scale of devastation. The Neighbor-to-Neighbor Disaster Relief fund operated through the Eastern Tennessee Foundation will help non-profit organizations across a 25-county region. You can donate here. We  try to keep the funds in local charities as much as possible and not pay it to a GoFundMe sight as the host takes a large percentage of the proceeds. Samaritanspurse.org is a great place to start, Rhonda and I are looking at schedules to be able to go and volunteer on a build project for Samaritan's Purse as soon as our schedule allows. We have been deep in prayer about what we can do for the long term during the recovery.

Graham was the person who encouraged Nixon to run for president a second time. He also encouraged Nixon to regularly attend church, so Nixon started the first regular church service in the White House, only to make it another "it" place to be seen. But when Nixon's crimes were made public, Graham continued to support him, commenting only on the strong language used by the president. What does it mean for Christian leaders to stand behind a corrupt president? In this episode, Chris interviews David Bruce, a historian at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. NOTE: I thought it was especially important to outline the many crimes of the Nixon administration. Today these crimes are downplayed by bad actors wishing to rewrite history. Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, reacts to individuals who cannot understand why white evangelical Christians have politically supported former president Donald Trump. It is primarily because he pledged to protect people of faith and he delivered on that promise. Clearly, former president Donald Trump has a colorful background, but on the other hand, he is the only president who invited groups of ministers to come to the Oval Office and pray with him and over him. Evangelical Christians believe that God will continue to bless America to the extent that we follow him. Many like Franklin Graham Pres. and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association believe that America has turned its back on God and that at some point God will judge America. Dr. Hall reviews some of the biblical characters who had colorful backgrounds and became important to God in the expansion of his kingdom. The role that each of us play in the nation's godlessness is analyzed. The symptoms of becoming godless as individuals are discussed. Dr. Hall concludes this podcast by urging the listeners to not forget what God has done for them and him become a part of the population that is turning its back on God. The first time I traveled to Rome was with my dad when I was 19—the beginning of that trip changed my life and my relationship with my dad. Rome has since become my favorite city to visit because of my memories with him. I was recently back in Rome with my dad. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Nepalese pastor's year-long prison sentence upheld Last month, the Supreme Court of Nepal upheld a one-year prison sentence for a pastor. Officials charged Pastor Keshab Raj Acharya under the country's anti-conversion law. His wife told Christian Today the government is using the case to set an example and deter Christians in the Hindu-majority country from sharing their faith. The anti-conversion law went into effect in 2018. Since then, Nepali Christians have faced increased persecution, including false accusations and violence. In Matthew 5:11-12, Jesus said, “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in Heaven.” Russia withdraws from treaty Russia formally withdrew from the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe yesterday. In response, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, known as NATO, also pulled out of the Cold War-era security pact. The treaty was meant to keep the Cold War powers from amassing troops near each other's borders. This comes less than a week after Russia also revoked its ratification of a nuclear treaty that banned nuclear weapons tests. This only increases the already high tensions between NATO and Russia since Russia invaded Ukraine last year. Speaker Johnson: We need to secure American border before Ukrainian border Speaking of Ukraine, the U.S. House of Representatives is considering linking aid to Ukraine with increased security at the U.S.-Mexico border. Republican Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana is the new House Speaker. He told Fox News we have to secure our border first. JOHNSON: “We can do all of these things together. But when you couple Ukraine and the border that makes sense to people because they say, ‘If we're going to protect Ukraine's border, but we have to take care of our own border first.' And that's what we're saying. This is policy changes that are necessary. “There's a growing consensus in the Congress, certainly amongst Republicans, but also even some across the aisle who recognize we have to change what is happening. Over 6.3 million illegal crossings since Joe Biden took office.” The House also approved aid for Israel last week in a plan to reallocate over $14 billion away from the IRS. Christian wins public school religious liberty case A Christian woman who was a public school student in Chicago won a $150,000 settlement last month in a religious liberty case. Back in February, Mariyah Green sued the Chicago Board of Education for a Quiet Time program that was implemented at her school during the 2018-2019 school year. The program, known as Transcendental Meditation, was originally developed by a Hindu. Green said the school expected her to chant a mantra and honor Hindu deities as part of the program.  Despite what she believed to be an attack on her faith, Green told The Christian Post she hopes God continues to use her to "spread the Gospel and also to help people.” Texas vs. Planned Parenthood The state of Texas is taking Planned Parenthood to court in a $1.8 billion fraud case. Texas accuses the abortion giant of fraudulently obtaining state Medicaid funds. Texas terminated Planned Parenthood as a Medicaid provider back in 2021. The judge in the case is U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk. He was appointed by President Donald Trump. Kacsmaryk is also the judge who ruled back in April against the FDA's approval of the Abortion Kill Pill.  Fifty-three percent of mothers who abort their unborn babies due so chemically. 37% of Americans think we did not evolve A new poll from Suffolk University/USA TODAY asked people across America what they believe about evolution. Twenty-nine percent of respondents said humans evolved into their present form without divine intervention; 24% said humans evolved but under God's direction; and 37% said humans did not evolve but were created in their present form by God. Belief in creation by God without evolution was strongest among Republicans, older people, and people with no more than a high school degree.  Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Franklin Graham preached in Rome, Italy And finally, nearly 20,000 people attended an outreach event in Rome, Italy this week led by Evangelist Franklin Graham with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It was the largest evangelical outreach event in Italy's history. Before the event, Graham said, “Rome is filled with centuries of history, culture and religion, but I'm not coming to talk about these things. I'm coming to Rome to share how we can all have a real and personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ.” GRAHAM: “Will you invite Christ to come into your life? If you've never done that, if you're here tonight and you're not sure that your sins are forgiven, you can make sure right now. You're not coming to Franklin Graham.  I cannot save you. You're coming to Jesus Christ. So come!” This week also marks the birthday of Franklin's father, Billy Graham. He was born on November 7, 1918 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The evangelist preached to some 215 million people across 185 countries and territories in his life.
