Joe Biden has proven at least one thing to Americans, he has no problem race baiting. Exhibit A is the speech Biden gave in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he continued to push falsehoods about racism in America today, and it is helping nobody. As Bernie says, 'racism is the last resort of a skunk with no argument', and that's exactly what Joe Biden is. Bernie and Sid get into the latest on Biden plus Jenn Psaki continues to run interference for Joe and Kamala, Obama thinks that Republicans attempting to stop Critical Race Theory from entering schools is laughable, Ron DeSantis continues to make all the right decisions for Florida, Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio continue to complain and point fingers at anyone but themselves, the mother from the Putnam Valley speaks out against CRT, and Anthony Fauci and Jill Biden get a not so warm welcome in Harlem. Plus, Bo Dietl, Miranda Devine, and Chris Matthews all join Bernie and Sid on the program today!!!

Today is Super Tuesday - the biggest day of the US primary election season. Increasingly, prediction markets and pollsters suggest it’s a two person race between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders (although Mike Bloomberg has insisted he’s staying in).  In this episode, NLW breaks down each candidate in the context of their positions vis a vis cryptocurrency, as well as looking at the possible role of three other fallen contenders in the rest of the campaign.  As Bernie leads the Twitter poll, the question arises: do people think Bernie will be good for bitcoin because he shares the same values of prioritizing the little guy over big banks, or because they think his programs will demand so much QE it will send bitcoin to the moon?  Listen and find out.

Subscribe to Social Business Engine Apple Podcasts |Stitcher |Google Play | Google Podcasts LinkedIn post effectiveness is somewhat of a mystery. As Bernie’s guest, Scott Ayres says, “LinkedIn is like the Uncle who always comes to the family reunion with a great casserole, but you forget is there.” So Scott and his team at Agorapulse decided to do a social media experiment to see exactly what post types are effective on LinkedIn. Scott is a Content Scientist for Agorapulse - he runs experiments as part of the company’s Social Media Lab. During this conversation with Bernie you’ll hear how he runs experiments using different content on the various social media platforms, verifies it through the expertise of an actual data scientist, and publishes the results. Scott’s findings from a recent experiment about LinkedIn posts is the special topic of interest for this episode. Sales Professionals Need Social Best-Practices Based on Data, Not Anecdotes Any Google search for “How to post effectively on LinkedIn” or “LinkedIn best-practices” will provide hundreds of results, but how do you know which of the posts returned are actually trustworthy? The leadership at Agorapulse, a social media scheduling tool, has dedicated a significant portion of its monthly budget to run data-driven social media experiments through what they call “The Social Media Lab.” Scott Ayres leads that team in carrying out all kinds of tests and trials based on this pattern: Problem -> hypothesis -> research -> findings With the help of an actual data scientist who is on staff at Agorapulse, the team is uncovering best-practices and publishing them publicly for anyone to learn from. Our team here at Vengreso is very keen on LinkedIn, so Bernie asked Scott to elaborate on the findings from a recent SML experiment about the kind of LinkedIn posts that perform best. You will find the results surprising. Text-Only Posts on LinkedIn Are Viewed Massively More Than Others One of the principles you hear touted about using social media effectively is that it’s a visual medium - so posts that include images, gifs, videos, etc. are more effective. Scott Ayres wanted to test that hypothesis, especially as it has to do with LinkedIn. His team at the Social Media Lab used three accounts with large followings to test the following hypothesis - Text-only posts would garner the lowest amount of views. The team posted a variety of content types over a specified period of time, and tracked the engagement for each. What were the results? In Scott’s words, “Text-only posts on LinkedIn had an increase of 1,069% views.” That’s the type of data that helps those of us in sales and marketing understand how to garner better engagement for the sake of establishing relationships and uncovering needs. Listen to this podcast to hear more about how posting on LinkedIn create more sales conversations. How Effective Are Hashtags on LinkedIn? It hasn’t been around for long, but LinkedIn now supports the use of hashtags. It’s easy to forget that the functionality even exists on LinkedIn but those who are utilizing hashtags are seeing great results - and the data Scott and his team have been able to compile from their experiments prove it’s not just anecdotal. The Social Media Lab experiment about LinkedIn hashtags shows that posts using at least one hashtag get 29.59% higher impressions. Based on those findings, Bernie and Scott discuss the ways hashtags can be used to coordinate sharing efforts by a sales or marketing team, how searches can be made using hashtags. If you’re interested in increasing your activity on LinkedIn and think hashtags could help you do that, listen to this episode to get Scott and Bernie’s advice on the issue. Did you hear that your Congress overwhelmingly approved a $717 billion military spending bill which included an $82 BILLION INCREASE (more than the entire military budget of Russia)? Or that Bernie Sanders' amendment to audit the Department of Defense, (which somehow lost track of up to $20 TRILLION over the past few years) was voted down by Republicans and Democrats alike? How about Bernie's bill to end our involvement in Saudi Arabia's illegal bombing of Yemen...again blocked by Democrats? Of COURSE you didn't, because everyone's obsessing over the Trump circus and Russia's meddling in our "democracy..." diverting attention from the fact that neither party actually cares about democracy!  But Democrats really do care about immigrants and refugees, right? Then why are there messages from Democrats at all levels warning that calls to abolish ICE serve as a "distraction" and "allow president Trump to paint Democrats as being for open borders?" Why are Dems unwilling to stand up against a rogue agency spawned after 9/11 that systematically terrorizes immigrants and violates their constitutional rights? Party leaders again fail to stand for what's morally right, favoring donors and highly paid (and highly inaccurate) political consultants over the safety and civil rights of immigrants.  As Bernie says, it'll take millions of us to spread the word about the realities of our corrupt political system and raise awareness about stories that have real-world consequences for the 99%. Start binge-posting the truth and/or binge-calling your representatives! Find local progressive groups and candidates you can become involved with! When faced with a media circus and corrupt political system, it's what Bernie Sanders would do!  The What Would Bernie Sanders Do Podcast is Dr. Barry Kaufman with Host Darren Stephens and is produced in Chicago by Ruth Kaufman. We discuss the general's underreported request for thousands more troops and billions in additional spending in the context of the propaganda campaign against Tulsi Gabbard's trip to Syria in search of a peaceful solution to our perpetual wars. What's the reason for so much discussion about Russia and so little mention of the consequences of our ongoing wars? During their Town Hall debate on Obamacare, Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz embody the ideological rift between Americans. Bernie believes health care is a right and that we need to pool our resources to provide care for our fellow Americans. Ted Cruz follows the logic Hillary Clinton used during her primary campaign, that *access* to health care is a right and we need to make insurance plans affordable. But we've already heard this tune. Boy, will I ruffle some feathers with this one!  Well, that’s fine: I have never been either politically correct, or a moderate “flip-flopper” like so many…   I watched the Democratic Party Convention for awhile last night, and it was… horrendous.  There was NO American flag, but a Syrian one and rainbow flags all in evidence.  It turns out that the Dems have abandoned actual working people, and have become a party of privileged elites, with  welfare and illegal immigrant votes to prop it all up.  I waited and waited to hear what Bernie Sanders would say, since he had been conned by Hillary and the rest of the elite, ruling democrats to believe that he and his supporters had a chance at getting the presidential nomination.  I waited, and all the rest of us waited, and waited… the elite Dems purposely waited until about 11 PM central time to put him on, and so I, and all the rest of Paleo People (not to mention the stoned Bernie supporters and all people who actually had to go to work the next day) were asleep in their beds!  (Inclined, hopefully!)  As Bernie started to speak, his Robin Hood-hatted supporters, once he caved in and supported evil Hillary, booed during his whole lackluster, cookie-cutter speech!   On a repeat the next day, even I was “feeling the Bern”, a little.  The Betrayed Bern of his supporters, that is- it appears, once again, that Socialism and Communism, those kissing cousins, are all about power and perks for the elite- with some crumbs thrown to the supporters.  That is the bottom line- no “shining city on a hill”, that is classic conservatism my friends.   Today, as I mowed my acreage in 90 degree heat, I listened to Rush Limbaugh wax eloquent on the whole thing:  Bottom line?  Here is the platform of the New Democrat, Obama and Hillary party:   Black Lives Matter, New Black Panthers, Occupy Wall Street, stripping God from their party platform, transgender bathroom advocates, anti-police, pro-death panels, baby butchers!   I know, it sounds extreme, doesn’t it?  But- doesn’t it also ring completely true??   Everyday, pretty much, there is a new Islamic fundamentalist Terrorist attack, killing innocents in the West, both the US and Western Europe.  We have a terrible NON-President Obama who will not even name the enemy!  His successor, Hillary Clinton, is just as evil, and will up the ante on the Obama agenda, if elected.  She has already betrayed us, giving up our secrets to Russians, Chinese, and other enemies of America.  She should be in jail!  If we all lived in small tribes, as in the Ancestral lifestyle, Hillary would have been banished from the tribe long ago.  Character reveals itself quickly in tribal settings…   That is all I will say politically, although I could go on and on and on- I’m sure you could too!  The thing I’m tr

The Bernie Sindler Story tells of untold stories of murder, mayhem, and the Mafia in Las Vegas. Sindler - a protege of Meyer Lansky, who he considered his surrogate father - was associated with notorious Mob and Outfit members as a partner or employee in their Las Vegas operations, and as a close friend and associate. In his book, Sindler shares a behind-the-scenes look at famous and infamous denizens of Las Vegas, including Lansky, Siegel, Johnny Rosselli, Lucky Luciano, Moe Dalitz, Virginia Hill and Frank Sinatra. Sindler, the last living link to the old Mob bosses in Vegas and the gangsters made famous in the media, is one of the few men, and now the only survivor, who knows the real stories behind notorious and bloody events in the storied history of Las Vegas - the widely publicized multiple murder case at Rancho Circle (his future wife was the only survivor), why Sinatra's front teeth got knocked out at the Sands, and the likely killer of Bugsy Siegel, one of the most mysterious enigmas in the brutal history of the Mafia. Those unknown tales of murder, mayhem and the Mafia - and more - are now revealed in this riveting and colorful autobiography by the last living link to the days when the Mob ran Las Vegas. As Bernie likes to say, "Everyone in life is dealt a hand. I played the hand I was dealt."
