Chuck Swirsky is the radio play by play voice of the Chicago Bulls. He started his career in broadcasting in Cleveland, Ohio in the mid-1970's and moved to Chicago in 1979. He spent many years working in Chicago radio at WGN. In the mid-1990's Swirsky was the host of our Sports Spectrum syndicated radio program, where he interviewed athletes and others in sports about their Christian faith. In 1998, Swirsky moved to Toronto and became the play by play voice of the Raptors, a position he held for 10 years. In 2008, he returned to Chicago and became the voice of the Bulls radio broadcasts. In 2016, Swirsky was inducted into the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame and in 2018 to the WGN Radio Walk of Fame. Today on the podcast, Chuck Swirsky shares stories of his time working with Sports Spectrum in the 1990's. He also talks about his time as a broadcaster in Chicago during the Michael Jordan era, the future of broadcasting and the importance of communication, connection and relationship.
