The Chicago Bulls front office is doubling down on a copycat plan — and it might be their most delusional idea yet
The Chicago Bulls suffered a heartbreaking 101–103 loss to the Indiana Pacers, and it came down to the final second. Pascal Siakam delivered the dagger at the buzzer, sealing a crushing defeat for a Bulls team desperately trying to steady themselves in a turbulent stretch of the season. In this episode, Haize breaks down everything that went right, everything that went wrong, and the moments that defined this thriller. NBA players have developed a reputation of being soft...and the constant removal of fans from NBA arenas doesn't help the narrative. Over the weekend...both LeBron James and Josh Giddey had security remove NBA fans from the arena. We reveal and react to these incidents with LeBron James and Josh Giddey. We discuss the great start to the NBA season...and explain how the NBA once again can't get out of its own way. We discuss the negative publicity surrounding the NBA...and how it's taking away from the competitive basketball on the court. In this episode of See Red UK: Chicago Bulls Chat, Neill dives deep into a rough stretch for the Chicago Bulls, starting with the terrible loss to the New Orleans Pelicans—a game that exposed major issues on both ends of the floor. He also break down the ugly, unconvincing win over the Washington Wizards, a performance that raised even more questions about this team's direction. He discusses why Nikola Vučević was absolutely right to call the Bulls “soft” and “unsustainable”, and how his comments highlight a growing frustration inside the locker room. From lazy, non-existent defence to abandoning the team-first, play-by-committee identity that defined their best stretches at the start season, we get into what has gone wrong—and what urgently needs to change. We also look at Josh Giddey's recent play, why he needs to step back into a leadership role, and how his decision-making and pace can help stabilise a Bulls team that's veering off track. If you're a Chicago Bulls fan, this episode is a must-listen for real talk, honest breakdowns, and a look at what the Bulls must fix to get back on course. Mike Mulligan and David Haugh were joined by Chicago Sports Network insider K.C. Johnson to discuss the Bulls' recent thrilling games and to preview their matchup against the Heat on Friday evening at the United Center.
In this episode of See Red UK, Neill breaks down a wild stretch of Chicago Bulls clutch basketball, covering three dramatic games: the tough clutch loss to the Utah Jazz, the impressive clutch win over the Denver Nuggets, and the electrifying buzzer-beater victory against the Portland Trail Blazers. We dive into how this Bulls team has embraced a true “never say die” mentality, consistently finding ways to stay alive late in games. Neill discusses Nikola Vučević's huge clutch moments, hitting two of his last three clutch shots, and what his calm late-game presence means for this team. We also look at the impact of the long-awaited returns of Coby White and Josh Giddey, and how their reintegration is shaping the Bulls' recent rhythm. Plus, big praise goes to the role players who have stepped up in a massive way: • Dalen Terry's energy and defence • Jevon Carter's shooting spark • Jalen Smith's interior presence and efficiency If you're a Chicago Bulls fan craving honest analysis, big-moment breakdowns and fan-driven conversation, this is an episode you won't want to miss.
The Chicago Bulls survived a heart-stopping collapse against the Portland Trail Blazers, nearly squandering a 21-point lead before Nikola Vucevic's clutch game-winner sealed the victory. Despite the win, the Bulls' defensive rebounding remains a glaring weakness—Portland dominated the glass with 26 offensive rebounds and 38 second-chance points, exposing Chicago's inability to box out consistently.Haize breaks down Coby White's impressive return off the bench, averaging 26 points across two games while meshing seamlessly with Josh Giddey's playmaking. Vucevic's 27 points and game-winner can't mask his defensive struggles, while Matas Buzelis showed flashes before getting benched in crunch time. The analysis covers Dalen Terry's breakout defensive performance, the Bulls' clutch-time execution problems, and why this young roster sits at 8-6 despite glaring inconsistencies.Tune in for an honest assessment of Chicago's rebounding crisis, rotation decisions, and what needs to change as they enter a favorable schedule stretch.Podcast Links: https://linktr.ee/BullsCentralPodGet at us:Email: BullsCentralPod@gmail.comTwitter:@BullsCentralPodPhone: (773) 270-2799Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/chicago-bulls-central/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
The Chicago Bulls did it again… let another huge lead slip away.
Chicago Bulls vs. Portland Trailblazers NBA Pick Prediction by Tony T. Collins is out with Jones questionable for Chicago. Smith is probable. Henderson, Thybulle and Wesley are out for Portland with Holiday questionable. Grant is probable. Bulls at Trailblazers 10PM ET—Chicago improved to 7-6 with their 130-127 road win at Denver. The Bulls shot 47% with 36% from three. Josh Giddey produced 21 points with 14 rebounds. Kevin Huerter contributed 20 points and two rebounds. Chicago allowed 47% shooting with 39% from three. Portland is on a back-to-back after hosting Phoenix on Tuesday and losing 127-110.
The Chicago Bulls snap their brutal five-game losing streak with a thrilling 130-127 victory over the championship-contending Denver Nuggets in Denver. This wasn't about the starters—it was a complete bench takeover that saved Chicago's season momentum. Haize breaks down how the Bulls' second unit exploded for 66 points with a staggering +24 plus-minus, led by Javon Carter's 15 points, Jalen Smith's 16 points and 8 rebounds, and Ayo Dosunmu's efficient 21-point performance. Josh Giddey contributed 21 points and 14 rebounds while Kevin Huerter added 20, but the real story was the bench mob's relentless energy on a back-to-back in high elevation. Despite Nikola Vucevic's concerning on-off numbers and a shaky fourth quarter where Chicago went 1-for-13 from three, the Bulls showed championship-level grit against a legitimate contender.Tune in for an honest breakdown of what this quality win means as Chicago enters an easier schedule stretch, plus analysis of lineup decisions and trade possibilities.Podcast Links: https://linktr.ee/BullsCentralPodGet at us:Email: BullsCentralPod@gmail.comTwitter:@BullsCentralPodPhone: (773) 270-2799Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/chicago-bulls-central/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

The Chicago Bulls drop a heartbreaking double-overtime thriller to the Utah Jazz, 150-147, falling back to .500 after a promising start. What went wrong when it mattered most?Haize breaks down Coby White's 27-point return from injury, Josh Giddy's triple-double performance, and the costly mistakes that plagued the Bulls down the stretch. The analysis reveals a troubling dependency: Nikola Vucevic's offensive efficiency is almost entirely reliant on Giddy's playmaking, raising questions about the center's long-term fit. Matas Buzelis fouled out after a promising 18-point showing, while rookie Julian Phillips delivered an efficient 10 points in just 13 minutes—yet barely saw the floor in crunch time. Questionable officiating, untimely turnovers, and Billy Donovan's rotation decisions all contributed to squandering a winnable game. With the Denver Nuggets up next and White sitting out back-to-backs, can the Bulls regain their early-season form?Tune in for an honest, analytics-driven breakdown of what's working, what's broken, and what needs to change for the Chicago Bulls moving forward.Podcast Links: https://linktr.ee/BullsCentralPodGet at us:Email: BullsCentralPod@gmail.comTwitter:@BullsCentralPodPhone: (773) 270-2799Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/chicago-bulls-central/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Coby White returned — and instantly transformed the Chicago Bulls offense. From the opening possession, White's gravity, shooting, and decision-making changed everything for a team that has struggled to score consistently in half-court sets. Haize breaks down how White elevates spacing, shot creation, and overall flow for Chicago. We also dive into Josh Giddey's scoring leap, how his improved finishing and physicality have raised his ceiling, and what makes his offensive jump sustainable. Plus: the surprising truth about Nikola Vucevic's decline, why it's not just shooting percentages, and what his reliance on playmaking means for the roster moving forward. To close, we preview the Bulls' matchup against the Denver Nuggets — an elite two-way force — and what Chicago must execute to survive without Coby White.
The Chicago Bulls may finally be getting the reinforcements they desperately need.K.C. Johnson reports that Josh Giddey and Coby White both fully practiced and could return as soon as the Bulls take on the Utah Jazz. Giddey continues his near-triple-double pace despite his ankle injury, while White—coming off a career season—looks close to making his long-awaited debut.Haize also breaks down the status of Zach Collins, who could return shortly after November 24th, giving Chicago a massive boost to its frontcourt rotation. Then we shift to the trade market:Instead of chasing Anthony Davis, Haize highlights realistic and impactful trade targets including Domantas Sabonis, Daniel Gafford, and Yves Missi, explaining why each fits—and why the Bulls must be smart with timing. We also dive into:
Anthony Davis rumors are back — this time with John Wall hinting that the Chicago Bulls could be a potential landing spot if the superstar big wants out of Dallas. On today's episode of Chicago Bulls Central, Haize breaks down why the idea of Anthony Davis is tempting… but the timing and price don't make sense for where the Bulls are right now. With Davis owed around $60 million per year and a history of missing significant time, gutting $90 million in expiring depth and draft capital to chase a fragile star could derail the long-term vision Artūras Karnišovas has finally built toward. Chicago just escaped the era of bloated, bad contracts — they can't sprint right back into one.Haize also dives into the Bulls' concerning defensive regression during their four-game skid. After starting 6–1 with strong perimeter defense, Chicago has fallen near the bottom of the league in defensive rating, opponent field-goal percentage, and points in the paint allowed. From Giannis Antetokounmpo and Donovan Mitchell to Victor Wembanyama and a shorthanded Pistons team, opposing teams have been feasting at the rim.But it's not all doom and gloom. Ayo Dosunmu, Josh Giddey, and Matas Buzelis sat down together and gave real insight into this team's chemistry, accountability, and growth. The young core's bond and willingness to accept tough coaching from Billy Donovan is a big reason there's still optimism in Chicago — even as they try to rediscover their edge and learn how to close games again.
It's an early-season Chicago Bulls episode featuring a few staples of their young core: Ayo Dosunmu, Matas Buzelis, and Josh Giddey. The trio dives into so much, giving a true inside look into the start of their season, including their hot start, why they love the chemistry in their locker room, and their goals for the season. They also get into some of their basketball origins and careers, including what it means for Ayo and Matas to be from the Chicago area playing and for the Bulls, Ayo's career at Illinois and Matas' at G-League Ignite, and what Josh takes with him from the beginning of his career on the Oklahoma City Thunder. They also have high-level basketball conversations about teaching vs. inheriting toughness, adapting to your role in the NBA, what it takes to be a winning player, and much more. Are the Chicago Bulls STILL the team to beat in the Eastern Conference?
Ken Carman and Anthony Lima discuss De'Andre Hunter's cross-up of Josh Giddey during the Cleveland Cavaliers' Saturday night win over the Chicago Bulls, as well as more talk about the Cleveland Browns.
The Chicago Bulls are discovering something every good team hits eventually: you can win with depth, but you advance with stars. After back-to-back losses to teams with closers like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Donovan Mitchell, Josh Giddey didn't sugarcoat the truth — the Bulls don't have a clear No. 1 option in the clutch, and it's showing. In this episode, Haize breaks down why Chicago must eventually identify a true go-to scorer, whether that's Coby White, Giddey himself, or a future version of Matas Buzelis. We also look at what contenders like Indiana have proven: depth matters, but elite players still separate great teams from good ones.Next, we dive into why Bulls fans shouldn't view Ayo Dosunmu vs. Coby White as an either/or situation. Thanks to Giddey's team-friendly deal and massive upcoming cap space, Chicago may be able to retain both guards long-term if contracts align. We also provide an update on Zach Collins, who is nearing a return pending a CT scan but still wearing a cast. A December comeback looks realistic. Finally, we preview Bulls vs Spurs — a matchup featuring Victor Wembanyama's monster start, San Antonio's 7–2 record, and the keys to slowing down a team with eight double-digit scorers.Plus, listener voicemails on Billy Donovan's rotation decisions, Jalen Smith's minutes, and why Bulls fans shouldn't waste energy on outside noise.Podcast Links: https://linktr.ee/BullsCentralPodGet at us:Email: BullsCentralPod@gmail.comTwitter:@BullsCentralPodPhone: (773) 270-2799Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/chicago-bulls-central/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

The Chicago Bulls squandered a 19-point lead in a crushing 128-122 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, exposing critical execution flaws and questionable coaching decisions. Host Haize breaks down Billy Donovan's puzzling choice to bench red-hot Jalen Smith (18 points, 11 rebounds, plus-17) in favor of struggling Nikola Vucevic during crunch time, despite Smith's perfect 6-for-6 shooting performance. The Bulls' bench exploded for 58 points—led by Jaylen Johnson's flawless outing and strong contributions from Patrick Williams, Kevin Huerter, and Ayo Dosunmu—yet late-game mismanagement and Josh Giddey's ankle injury derailed Chicago's momentum. Matas Buzelis struggled significantly, while the absence of Coby White became glaringly apparent in critical fourth-quarter possessions. With the Bulls now 6-3 and facing their first losing streak of the season, this analysis reveals what went wrong and what must change as they prepare for upcoming matchups against San Antonio, Detroit, and Utah. The Chicago Bulls fall 126-110 to the Milwaukee Bucks as Giannis Antetokounmpo dominates with 41 points, exposing defensive vulnerabilities down the stretch. Josh Giddey's scoreless second half and the team's inability to contain Giannis or Miles Turner's hot shooting prove costly in this NBA Cup matchup.Haize breaks down the Bulls' fourth-quarter collapse, analyzing why the 6-2 start shouldn't overshadow this learning opportunity. The discussion covers Nikola Vucevic's uncharacteristic struggles, Matas Buzelis's need for mid-range development, and the critical absence of Coby White's scoring punch. With defensive lapses on second-chance points and a cold three-point performance (30%), the Bulls couldn't maintain their early-season momentum against Milwaukee's firepower. The analysis tackles coaching decisions, rotation questions around Noa Essengue, and what adjustments are needed before facing the red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers in tomorrow's back-to-back. The Chicago Bulls took their second loss of the season, falling to 6-2 after getting blasted by Giannis Antetokounmpo's 41-point explosion. Milwaukee shot over 40% from deep, controlled the energy from the opening tip, and exposed one major truth: the Bulls have to bring elite effort every single night if they want this hot start to mean something.Chicago had moments where they generated stops, but empty possessions and slow responses derailed the comeback attempt. This is a young team that's shown toughness, but in the NBA there are no excuses — not when you're trying to establish yourself as a top team in the Eastern Conference. Now the Bulls drop to second in the East and immediately turn around to face the No. 3 Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. Cleveland is riding a three-game win streak, scoring nearly 120 points per game, and Donovan Mitchell is averaging over 30 on his own. The Cavs fire up shots in bunches, even if they aren't the most efficient team, and their defensive discipline limits transition opportunities and second-chance points. This matchup comes down to hustle, execution, and star impact. Josh Giddey, Nikola Vucevic, and Matas Buzelis will need to find a rhythm early, and Chicago's role players must step up to steady the offense. With voicemails discussing Billy Donovan's adjustments, All-Star potential, and fan overreactions, this episode digs deep into the reality of where this Bulls team stands in a tough early-season stretch.Podcast Links: https://linktr.ee/ChiBearsCentralGet at us:Email: ChicagoBearsCentral@gmail.comTwitter:@ChiBearsCentralPhone: (773) 242-9336Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/chicago-bulls-central/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Big Red Bus Podcast Episode Title: AKME Redemption: The Rise of the Red Leviathan Hosts: See Red Fred & The Podfather, Doug Thonus Summary:See Red Fred and the Podfather Doug Thonus break down one of the most thrilling weeks in recent Bulls history — a miraculous comeback win that cements the Bulls as the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. The guys argue that we're witnessing the greatest front office turnaround in Chicago sports history, thanks to four franchise-changing moves that have completely reshaped the team's identity. Topics Covered: The Buzelis Draft Pick (June 2024, #11 Overall)Fred and Doug revisit the bold selection of Matas Buzelis — calling it an A+ pick that set the tone for everything that followed. The LaVine TradeThe front office struck gold by trading Zach LaVine for Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter, and John Collins — plus their pick back. Fred praises each as rock-solid contributors, emphasizing that the Bulls gained three quality pieces and financial flexibility. The Okoro TradeDubbed “the most underrated great move,” Isaac Okoro's addition transformed the Bulls' defense. Shooting 50-40-80 over his last five games, Okoro locked down Tyrese Maxey in crunch time — solidifying himself as the team's best defender and a critical late-game stopper. Fred contrasts his production with Lonzo Ball's multi-year absence and inefficiency, calling out the overreaction from fans who doubted the deal. The Giddey Trade and ExtensionA true win-win. Alex Caruso helped OKC capture a championship, while Josh Giddey — a misfit in OKC — has flourished in Chicago. At just 23 years old, Giddey is emerging as a bona fide All-Star and, according to Fred, even belongs in the early MVP conversation. Closing Thoughts:The Big Red Bus celebrates a Bulls team reborn — deeper, smarter, tougher, and finally built to contend. Plus, updates on Coby White's ramp-up, Ayo Dosunmu's status, and a look ahead to the Bulls' first back-to-back against the Bucks and Cavaliers.
In the second hour, Mike Mulligan and David Haugh discussed Bulls guard Josh Giddey's terrific start to the season. 0:00 ... Ross hello, welcome, introduction of the panel. 0:36 ... Show #195 is dedicated to the late Anthony Mason who played for the Knicks in 1995 under Pat Riley. 1:34 ... The Chicago Bulls continue their strong early season run and the guys break down what has been going to well. Josh Giddey has been leading the way for Billy Donovan's team even though their forwards are not grabbing many rebounds. 6:20 ... The matchup between the Bulls and 76ers on Tuesday night will feature a fascinating matchup between guards Tyrese Maxey of Philly and Giddey. The winner of the game will also take over the top spot in the east. 9:08 ... The New York Knicks have not been firing on all cylinders early in the season as they adjust to new head coach Mike Brown. The Knicks are shooting a lot more 3 pointers than they did last season but there does not appear any reason to panic in New York. Bruce feels that Jordan Clarkson's impact will eventually be felt as he competes for the 6th man of the year award. 14:10 .... The Orlando Magic have also been shaky out of the gate with their first four games all on the road. Desmond Bane came over from Memphis to shoot 3 pointers but so far has shot mostly blanks. Bruce feels their defense and rebounding will carry them to greater success and Bane will eventually remember how to make threes. Ross is very concerned about the free throw shooting by the Magic which is only around 75% right now 19:10 ... The Oklahoma City Thunder have started the season 7-0 and our guys predict when their first loss may take place. Bruce and Ross see it coming in a day or two while World B feels they'll remain undefeated into next week. 21:44 ... The Portland Trailblazers have responded well to new coach Tiago Splitter who replaced Chauncey Billups when the gambling scandal sidelined him. Jrue Holiday, Jerami Grant, and Donovan Clingan have all excelled in the early going. World B credits their aggressive defense and insane hustle as huge factors in their success. Once Scoot Henderson returns from his injury, their defense should improve even more. 27:11 ... Trae Young of the Hawks will miss at least a month with an MCL injury. His shooting has been terrible but maybe the mental break due to injury might help him to reset things when he returns. World B has some stats supporting the Hawks' offensive improvement with Young sidelined. Ross points out that with no other point guards on the roster, Atlanta will have to run their offense in a non-traditional way. 30:39 ... Ja Morant is also creating a mess in Memphis with his poor attitude. He was suspended for insubordinate behavior and it won't be long before the trade rumors start up in earnest. Simply put, he needs to GROW UP. 35:07 ... "True or False" The guys check in on whether the San Antonio Spurs will win 50 games and finish in the top 4 in the west. 38:05 ... "True or False" Everyone checks in on whether Nikola Jokic will set the single season record for triple doubles (currently 42 by Russell Westbrook). 40:17 ... The final "True or False" question ... Someone other than Stephen Curry will lead the league in 3 pointers made. 42:05 ... Ross says goodbye TRT 42:18 Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
