On the latest episode of By The Horns, Cam Smith and KC Johnson dive into the newly released 2025–26 Chicago Bulls schedule, breaking down the toughest stretches, must-watch matchups, and potential statement games. From the season-opening test against the Detroit Pistons to marquee battles with the Lakers, Knicks, and Magic, the duo analyzes how early challenges and key homestands could shape the Bulls' playoff push.
It's Hour Tua, which means of course Dolphins Talk! The injuries keep coming in, as Tobin gives an update of the newest ones, is it ever going to click with Cam Smith. Tobin circles back to the QB lists which upsets Leroy, he's clearly not a big list guy. It is a kind of anger from Leroy you can only listen to in order to believe. Damage is Done gets derailed rather as the gang reminisces on the picture of Tobin at the trampoline park, lots of silly sauce to end the hour.
It's a glorious Tuesday—until someone in engineering ruins it by giving Tobin a hotkeys button, which no one, especially Leroy, is happy about. The gang reacts to Taylor Swift appearing on the New Heights podcast, and Tobin strikes a nerve with Jfig and Brittney by claiming her last album wasn't very good. He then continues his hotkey antics and riles Leroy up with Bill Simmons' QB rankings, before closing the hour with bizarre comparisons involving Simone Fontecchio, Kawhi Leonard, and gondolas. Hour Tua kicks off with Dolphins talk and injury updates, including a lingering question: will it ever click with Cam Smith? Tobin once again brings up QB lists, triggering Leroy into an audio-only rage. "Damage Is Done" gets derailed as the crew reminisces about Tobin at a trampoline park, ending the hour in pure silly sauce. Hour 3 spirals quickly from Tobin's headline run into a nostalgic VHS discussion about recording championship games—a lost art, according to Tobin. This somehow segues into an "ass chicken contest," with Tobin delivering a wildly confusing clucker impression. He tries to sneak in the QB list conversation again under the guise of discussing Tua's ranking, and Leroy spirals once more. The crew dives into audio clips from Sean McVay, Mike Vrabel, and Michael Irvin, before a heated debate erupts over whether the Tom Brady statue actually looks like him—Tobin swears it resembles Brock Purdy. Hour 4 opens with continued statue bickering, as the gang fails to reach consensus but engages in plenty of quibbling. Mike McDaniel's comments on team bonding somehow lead to Leroy denying he's a snacker—widely considered the most boxed moment in the show's history. The hour wraps with chaos as Tobin celebrates the Heat's preseason opener being held in Puerto Rico, yelling down the hall to Len for permission to go—only to get a swift, crushing "NO!"
Entering year 4 for Mike McDaniel, this could be the last chance for lots of returning Dolphins that have underperformed in the past.
Dolphins sloppy 4th quarter is expected in preseason. Jaguars kicker makes a 70-yard field goal. It could be a make or break season for guys like Cam Smith, Channing Tindall, and Erik Ezukama.
For Australian netball legend Laura Geitz, it all comes back to wanting the same pair of shoes as her older sister and a competitive drive that only a younger sibling can relate to. Fresh off being named in the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, Geitz chats to Declan Byrne on ‘The Saturday Sledge' about coming late to netball at age 13, what she learned by leading her country and why her eldest son is more excited about NRL icon Cam Smith getting into the Hall of Fame.

Hour Tua starts off with the gang looking forward to the Dolphins joint practicing with the Bears tomorrow. Much to Leroy's dismay Tobin goes through the Dolphins depth chart, Darren Waller is listed as first string tight end. Cam Smith is low in the cornerback depth chart, and it has Tobin and Leroy questioning if he will ever break out. Reggie Bush clearly has some major beef with Mike McDaniel and the gang tries to figure out why? We wrap up the hour with getting into the mixed bag Leroy's hate for Aaron Rodgers continues and Joe Flacco speaks on being old yet healthy.
We kick off the show with the long-standing feud: Leroy vs. Technology, now at a crushing 0-90 after Leroy once again can't log into his computer. The Marlins rally to take the game last night over the Astros and head to Atlanta for a big five-game stretch. Meanwhile, the Stanley Cup makes a stop in Finland with our resident South Florida Polar Bear, Niko Mikola, and Tobin imagines a hilarious scenario where Finnish hockey players are running the government. We also take a quick peek at tonight's NFL preseason action. In Hour Tua, we look ahead to the Dolphins' joint practices with the Bears. Much to Leroy's frustration, Tobin dives into the depth chart, noting Darren Waller listed as the starting tight end and raising concerns about Cam Smith's low placement among the cornerbacks. Then, Reggie Bush's mysterious beef with Mike McDaniel sparks discussion, before we wrap the hour with more of Leroy's Aaron Rodgers slander and Joe Flacco embracing being “old but healthy.” Things get heated in Hour 3 as a toast debate breaks out—Leroy and Brittney team up to argue it's not strictly a breakfast food, while Tobin stands alone with the chat chiming in. Dolphins rookie Patrick Paul shines in camp and lets us know he loves talking smack. With Leroy and JFig off enjoying the high life, Tobin and Brittney hold down the fort and break down Canes camp updates, what to expect from Miami this year, and whether Carson Beck can live up to the hype. Tobin also gets giddy over Nico Jović sailing off to join the Serbian national team. We wrap the show with more Marlins talk and whether the post-Yankees sweep hype was premature—Brittney questions it, but Tobin stays optimistic. Leroy finally returns from rubbing elbows, and we react to Teddy Bridgewater signing with the Bucs after being let go by Miami Northwestern—a tough break all around. And finally, it's Goosies or No Goosies featuring Nancy Lieberman dunking on Jeff Teague over Caitlin Clark, Malik Beasley's Snapchat antics, and the Tkachuk father-son trio landing the NHL video game cover.

A feedback pod today where we read through a bunch of your questions and comments. We start with a couple of comments on Cam Smith following Nick and Mark's chat last week on his form. Last week Mark listed his 'Irish Bucket List' courses, and we've had a big reaction with people suggesting other courses in Ireland to play, and saying that he needs to extend his trip to get them in. Leads to a chat about Tour Pro Eamonn Darcy who Nick played with a couple of times. And then we have a voicemail from Tom in Arizona with some thoughts on Irish courses, and Mark gives Tom some homework - he'd love Tom's Top 5 'desert courses'.After the turn, a comment from wolfpacker Mad Greek on unposrtsmanlike behaviour on tour, he outlines some poor behaviour he witnessed....and then we try to figure out who Mad Greek is. He sounds like he was a Tour Pro, but we're unsure who....time to reveal yourself Mad Greek !Dale has a comment on wolfpacker Fezz from last week who doesn't like giving shots back to the course (Fezz plays of +1). Dale disagrees with Fezz and calls him a clown.David has a question about a young golfer in the US who was disqualified last week after his caddy threw his hat in the air to check the wind. And Kiwi Lad Welly, who caddied for Mark in New Zealand, has written in about a time he reckons Mark might have felt like breaking his fingers (after last weeks chat on golfers breaking fingers of caddies accidentally). Mark tells us about that tournament where he was playing with John Senden and recalls a moment where he made a poor shot that hit a tree, turned around to see John laughing at him.Another voicemail, this one from James in Sydney on blending irons in his bag, wants to know if he should look at doing this given lots of pros seem to be.And Nick has a question on the setup of Bethpage for the Ryder Cup.Finally, we've locked it in. Social media response to the Astros losing streak has gone crazy. Trade Framber, sell the team, move Cam Smith back to third base...smh Should we have expected this slide by the Astros considering how many Triple-A players they've been forced to play? What has piqued your interest on the 2nd day of pads at Texans' camp? Has the group the Texans will start on the offensive line started to become clear? Do the Texans have the best under the age of 25 talent in the NFL?
Was Framber Valdez right to call out the Astros' defensive positioning on the go-ahead double last night? Jeremy thinks this is being overblown What's your panic meter over the Astros losing streak? Fan reaction to this losing streak has gotten so negative that we got texts wanting to trade Yordan Alvarez Would you trade Yordan for A's slugger Nick Kurtz? What about Cam Smith, Joel's answer to one of those surprised Jeremy and Brian MLB trade deadline rumors! Would you be interested in trading for Padres starting pitcher Dylan Cease?
Miami Dolphins columnist for the Sun Sentinel, Chris Perkins, discusses the latest from today's Dolphins practice including why he doesn't think Cam Smith is ready to be a starter, why there isn't a true backup QB battle and why he loves how Tua Tagovailoa has approached being a leader.
Cam Smith has the talent but the work ethic is lacking. Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald joins. Offensive line depth remains a concern for the Fins.
Has the Astros season magic finally been trumped by the underwhelming level of talent remaining on the roster? Have Hunter Brown and/or Cam Smith hit their season wall? Can Houston's GM afford to stand pat at the deadline given the increased level of concern regarding his team's ability to remain healthy?
Cam Smith needs to take the next step in year 3. Zach Wilson is the most important backup in the league. Tua holds Tyreek accountable. SI Dolphins writer Alain Poupart joins the show.
- List of most overrated and underrated NFL teams - The offensive line may be the reason Texans may not succeed this season - Getting callers in! - Cam Smith for rookie of the year? - Astros injuries - Are the Astros already planning for Framber's departure? - Is Framber the salt of the team?
Well we called it. Scottie monstered the field in The Open Championship.Okay, we didn't call it, in fact our Betr multi was a bust on every leg....we will make formal apologies at some point on today's podcast, you deserve nothing less.But.....Scottie was magnificent, and controlled the tournament, certainly over the weekend, and we start today with Nick and Mark discussing some of the most impressive parts of Scottie's performance: his putting, his recovery from poor shots, his composure. Exceptional. Nick says the player interviews post the tournament and prior to the final day reminded him of when he was playing and Tiger dominated, in that everyone felt that they were playing for second place, Scottie was that good. Then Mark makes a big call on Scottie and how many tournaments he will win, Mark doesn't believe he will win over 10 majors in his career, as he feels that his footwork will limit him at some point. Nick disagrees, and says Scottie has plenty of years left and will get to double figures.Nick talks about playing with Harris English who he said was exceptional then, and now, and highlights what the weakness in Harris' game was when he played with him. Mark raises the Ryder Cup and says that surely Chris Gotterup is a certainty to be picked now, Nick says no.We discuss the Aussies. A poor tournament overall, with Marc Leishman the only one to make the cut, ultimately finishing T52. Mark raises Cam Smith, and his consistent poor performances in the majors, and says that whilst LIV has been great for Bryson's game for example, it has not been good for Cams, and he just has to start hitting fairways. Nick comments that Brysons performance at the weekend was very strong after a terrible first day, and Mark predicts that we will see Rahm have a 'cracking' 2026 season and explains why. Both Nick and Mark loved how Royal Portrush looked, Mark is desperate to play it. Nick loved the drone shots. And we discuss how on the hardest hole on the course, Scottie birdied Calamity 3 days of the 4....Mark would like a plaque to be placed there to commemorate it.Then we apologise for our Betr multi, although Nick notes one leg would have come off were it not for Shane Lowry's 2-shot penalty, Mark wasn't aware of it, so we play the audio and discuss. But one person does win, wolfpacker Narelle Brunotte was drawn as our winner - she had a punt on our Betr multi and whilst the multi was a dismal failure, Narelle has won 250 bucks to spend at the Golf Clearance Outlet...congrats Narelle!Mark lists his Top 5 courses in Ireland that he'd like to play, has he missed any obvious ones?As you'd expect, the PING global results today have a big focus on The Open Championship, although we do digress for a moment with a video that contained an unusual sound.....we play the audio, and if you're watching on YouTube you will see the Shepmates take on it....very funny. During PING globals, Nick tells a great story that has come out of an Australasian Q-School in the US at the weekend.Feedback - lots of comments on last weeks Top 100 World Golf Course List with Jasper from the Top100 organisation, and plenty of comments - some in support, and some not - on LIV seeking OWGR points.Nick's masterclass today is inspired by Scottie Scheffler and looks at why aiming for the middle of the green is more effective than aiming for the pin.A fun pod today, and a feedback one to come later this week which we're looking forward to!We're live from Titleist and FootJoy HQ thanks to our great partners:Titleist, the #1 ball in golf;FootJoy, the #1 shoe and glove in golf;PING will help you play your best. Sean and B-Scott discuss if everything the Astros have done with Cam Smith this year is the best decision that Astros GM Dana Brown made this season.

Andy and Brendan return to recap the second round of the 153rd Open Championship following Scottie Scheffler's 64, the best round of the day at Royal Portrush. Most of this episode is focused on another brilliant round from the Sheriff, allowing him to take the outright lead by one shot over Matt Fitzpatrick. Brian Harman popped early, firing a 65 in the morning wave to have the lead for most of the day until the two policemen got hot. Shane Lowry was also discussed at length after cursing at Royal Portrush, the site of his lone major win, and being handed a two-shot penalty for causing his ball to move with a practice swing. Andy and Brendan run through notable missed cuts, including LIV stars Cam Smith, Brooks Koepka, and Patrick Reed, and American "stars" Patrick Cantlay and Collin Morikawa. Andy wraps up with some more "Storylines Nobody's Talking About" and is sure to mention Matthew Jordan's career-high Open round, the Sepptic Tank's first major made cut of 2025, and a retired golfer who found his way to the weekend.

Fantasy Baseball Live – June 29, 2025 @ 3 pm ETMicrosoft TeamsSegments 1 and 2: Review the weekend gamesAdditional Topics1. Quinn Priester is on a roll. In five games in the month of June, he's 4-0 with a 1.98 ERA, 9.55 K/9 and 1.65 BB/9. This is what I wrote at the time of the trade:After looking at the data, I see the allure and why the price was so high. The arsenal looks like a mid-rotation starter and he throws strikes. With proper pitching instruction- at least that's what every organization will say- you should be able to get Priester to throw better strikes. Since the Brewers are a great organization in his aspect of the game, there could be some sneaky value here. I would be a buyer. He's better than his stat line.2. Cam Smith is starting to heat up. In June, he's hitting .318 with four of his seven home runs.3. David Festa had a great start on Friday against the Tigers. When do we start to trust him?4. Wyatt Langford hits the IL with an oblique strain. Ugh. Who gets his at-bats?5. Matt Vierling is back. Are you ready to put him right back in your lineup?Segment 3 – Waiver WireSegment 4 – Closer ReportClose
