Mister Kindness Podcast 46. Joining us from Geneva, Switzerland is Lachlan McIver, an Australian doctor working for Medecins Sans Frontieres (msf.org). He learned his craft as a doctor in super remote areas of Australia and the Pacific Islands. We talk about his training, global health crises of our time, then take a hard left into ayahuasca and other psychedelic treatments for depression and PTSD. His life is so wild he wrote a book about it called 'Life and Death Decisions' which caused a bidding war between publishers. Awesome chat. Enjoy...*DISCLAIMER* Even though he's a highly experienced doctor we are not advocating the use of psychedelics. If you are thinking of doing so please consult your own doctor first, blah blah blah, you get the gist...Check out his website https://drlachlanmciver.com/ and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/drlachlanmciverFollow us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/misterkindness_pod Subscribe on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg8snrvTqs8_AjgIq_sIsMg Mis ter Kindness on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/njohn.kindness.9on#australia #doctor #medic #ayahuasca #psychedelics #PTSD #depression #Vanuatu #medecinssansfrontieres #misterkindnesspodcast #millaamillaa #torresstrait #ultimopressLow No Drinker Magazine PodcastMeeting the people & brands leading the low-&-no-alcohol revolution!Listen on: Apple Podcasts Spotify
AmsterDames: Inspiring Women in the Netherlands ... An English Feminist Podcast in Amsterdam
Is it just a crush? Am I bisexual? Am I gay? Women who thought of themselves to be hetero but who suddenly develop feelings for another woman often feel very lost. Gender and sexual orientation couch Diana Arkeveld experienced the same in her past and now wants to help other women in similar situations. For that, she founded Vrouw uit de kast (Woman out of the closet). In this interview, she talks about the fear of leaving a perfect life, the repression of your sexual identity and what happens during her coaching sessions. **Disclaimer: Even though Diana refers to herself as a gender orientation coach in this episode, she now finds that the term gender and sexual orientation coach fits her work better. Disclaimer: Even though I focused this post on married heterosexual men, it doesn't mean that other genders don't use their partners as an excuse. This behaviour transcends gender, culture, relationship status, sexual preference etc. However, in my personal experience, I've heard men default to this excuse more often than women. When a husband says "My wife won't let me", he's actually masking his insecurities. It's time to empower men to own their choices in life. It goes beyond outdated gender expectations.
I've been wanting to talk about Ephesians chapter 6 for a while (verses 10-20 specifically) although it's a longer passage, so I haven't gotten around to it until now. So go ahead and check it out for yourself. Enjoy! Email: therealavascorner@gmail.com Disclaimer: Even if I was feeling like reading that whole section, I probably wouldn't have since (like I said) I'm not the best at reading while I'm recording. Maybe in the future when I'm better at it! Ha.
As promised, the flying sparks are here!
