In the case of Jane Doe v. Sean Combs, the plaintiff, Jane Doe, filed a lawsuit against Sean Combs and associated entities, alleging that Combs sexually assaulted her at a charity event he co-sponsored in 1991. The plaintiff sought to proceed anonymously, citing the sensitive nature of the allegations and potential harm if her identity were disclosed. Initially, the court granted a temporary order allowing her to proceed under a pseudonym, pending further review.Upon subsequent evaluation, the court applied the ten-factor balancing test from Sealed Plaintiff v. Sealed Defendant to determine whether the plaintiff could continue anonymously. The court found that while the case involved sensitive personal matters, other factors—such as the significant public interest in the proceedings, potential prejudice to the defendants, and the plaintiff's ability to present her case without anonymity—outweighed the arguments for anonymity. Consequently, the court denied the plaintiff's motion to proceed under a pseudonym, emphasizing the importance of transparency and public access in judicial proceedings.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:gov.uscourts.nysd.633975.44.0.pdfBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

It's easy to feel like work is taking over, with technology evolving faster than we can keep up. The fear of being replaced by AI looms large, making the future feel uncertain and out of control. But what if AI isn't the enemy? What if it could free us from repetitive tasks and give us the space to focus on creativity, relationships, and purpose? The real challenge isn't resisting change—it's learning how to use it to our advantage. Instead of fighting against automation, the real opportunity lies in redefining what meaningful work looks like in an AI-driven world. Sylvain Rochon, a futurist and co-founder of CykoMetrix, specializes in human data intelligence and technological impact. With a background in biochemistry, engineering, and education, he also teaches at India's National Law University Meghalaya. His book, Engineering Paradise: Are You Ready?, examines how technology can drive societal transformation. Today, Sylvain discusses AI's potential to reshape work, education, healthcare, and society, highlighting its revolutionary impact on human experiences. Stay tuned!

Anyone can buy a stock in a public company, but not all shareholders are equally committed to a company's long-term succes. Today's companies need quality shareholders, or shareholders who buy large stakes and hold for long periods. Lawrence Cunningham explains why in his book — Quality Shareholders: How the Best Managers Attract and Keep Them. When it comes to corporate governance, there is no one better to learn from than Lawrence. He's the Director of the John Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Deleware.
