When was the last time that you lost track of time? Being with my newborn grandson has reminded me of the wonders of nature and humanity. Watching him inhale and exhale, open his eyes, and develop has been a beautiful experience. With automation and the rapid pace of technology, we have less opportunities to observe and tap into a flow state, but in today's episode, I'm sharing a couple of techniques that help me get back to place. I've been exploring my relationship with goal-setting and achievement lately and realized that striving often crowds out wonder. I've been working on mimicking nature and simply receiving what comes my way instead of overworking. Sitting and observing the world around me, also called sit spot, has helped me connect deeper with myself and revisit different lessons that I've received from nature over the years. This precious time with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson has strengthened my belief that we are stronger in community. Together, we have more to offer.
