There will always be troubles, trials, and sorrows here on earth, but in and through everything you experience, Jesus is there, offering His peace and encouraging you to “take heart.”What trial are you walking through today that needs to be overcome by the peace of Christ?You may be dealing with some things in life that are making you tired, weary, discouraged, dealing with grief, and ready to give up. That's exactly what it means to lose heart.When Jesus tells us to take heart it means to: be encouraged, to have hope, to be bold and confident, to not give up, to be of good cheer, to have courage! Whether we take heart or lose heart is simply a choice we make. The way Jesus uses the phrase take heart here in John 16:33 is as an imperative verb. That means that he is saying taking heart is an action, it's something we do, and that it is a possibility in our lives based off the choice we make…but it doesn't become a reality until we actually make the choice.What is one area of your life that you can make the choice to take heart? to be encouraged, to have hope, to be bold and confident, to not give up, to be of good cheer.Breathe in - inviting Christ's peace into your day. Inhale the victory of the cross and exhale the power of the resurrection. Maybe that gives us something in the thick of the suffering, down deep in the valley of suffering. Inhale the victory of the cross. Exhale the power of the resurrection. This is the way of the Christ follower. And you know what strikes me in all this, as we reflect on this. What strikes me is that this is another one of those occasions where we begin to realize, or we realize again, the business of following Jesus or of living Christian is not some nice idea. It's not a paper transaction to avoid hell. It's not a religious distraction to pretend things are better than they are. Rather, the business of following Jesus and living Christian touches our real lives in every way. It is intensely and immensely practical. It's actually, the center of our lives. It reshapes us. It reorients us and reframes everything around us, including, believe it or not, the valley of suffering.

This is believed to help balance the body's energy and calm the mind.Pursed Lip Breathing:Inhale deeply through your nose, then purse your lips as if you're about to whistle, and exhale slowly through your pursed lips. In prison, Joseph becomes an interpreter. Post-prison, Joseph becomes governor. How do you put faith in a God who appears to have forgotten about you? Sometimes, God will allow people to falsely accuse you so that when you get to the prison, you can graduate from dreamer to interpreter. Hey Intentional Wellness Warrior! In light of Good Friday being today and Easter Sunday, I bring you this breath prayer. Jesus conquered all sin and death on the cross for you and for me and for the world. AND THEN he rose 3 days later . His resurrection from the dead , victory over all gives us life. He is Risen and alive and that means as we receive this gift- alive in us! As we live life, we get wrapped up in the stress of it all- even burnt out on stress - we have to remember Jesus is alive in us and gives all peace, joy, hope, love, strength, LIFE. He lives in us SO we can live. Sit with this truth. Breathe it in and speak it out and as you do listen to what God is speaking back to you about Jesus Christ being alive and living in you. Verse: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” – Galatians 2:20 inhale: Christ is alive… Exhale: and lives in me. Breathe in LIFE. Happy Resurrection Sunday!
