Wallace describes the original idea for the site and how that expanded (hah!) to become a site where diverse writers would offer opinions on baseball outside of mainstream sources, and details some of the pieces already in the pipeline, including a discussion with Cubs reliever Steve Cishek and his love of high socks. In the second half, Wallace goes into detail about her recent trip to Mexico to cover the Liga Mexicana championship and All-Star game, and what MLB can learn from the baseball league to the south. Andrews presses Wallace to talk about the Cubs, and she obliges, discussing why the Cubs haven't reached the same heights of 2016, what they do about the Brewers, chasing Manny Machado and any advice she has for Blue Jays fans ahead of a potential rebuild. I talked to a talent evaluator about what fans can expect from Hoerner as a prospect, and I passed on that knowledge in the first segment.In the second segment, I welcomed Kelly Wallace back to the podcast to help me answer a few questions from the fans. That ranged from the whereabouts of Eddie Butler to a little early trade deadline discussion.
