Hour 1 Huge sports day with the Jets, Mets and a huge Knicks trade. But we started with the Jets loss to the Broncos. The Jets seemed to have a ‘cadence issue' between Aaron Rodgers and the offensive line. Gio thinks Rodgers' body language is showing his frustration with Rob Saleh. Boomer thinks there's a major issue there, although both will deny it. Boomer said he doesn't think Rodgers respects Saleh as head coach. Saleh was seemingly blaming Rodgers' cadence on the Jets offensive penalties. Boomer said somebody might have to go to save the season. When Peyton Manning and Tom Brady switched teams as veterans and took their new teams to Super Bowls, they did so with veteran head coaches. Rodgers doesn't have that here. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Jets missed FG at the end of the game as heard on the radio. Rob Saleh talked about the sloppy penalties. What happened to Breece Hall yesterday? Aaron Rodgers reacted to cadence being a problem. The Vikings won in Green Bay as Sam Darnold threw 3 TDs. Jayden Daniels had another great game as the Commanders beat the Cardinals. In the final segment of the hour, if the Jets go to London and lose to Sam Darnold and the Vikings, the Jets could make an in season change somewhere according to Boomer. Everything is not fine between Rodgers and Saleh. Boomer thinks Rodgers is annoyed by Saleh. Hour 2 Today will be a huge day for Mets fans. Hopefully things work out so it's memorable in a good way. They just need to win one of these games in Atlanta. Chris Sale will pitch in game 2 if the Braves lose the first game. Gio thinks it will be a split, because whoever wins the first game will be ‘drunk the second game' according to Gio. Evan and Tiki will be doing their show in the performance space here at WFAN. Jerry returns for an update but first we talked about the Yankees having the best record in baseball, even though they didn't win 100 games. Jerry started with the Jets losing to the Broncos. Rob Saleh said weather wasn't an excuse. Joe Flacco was under center for the Colts after Anthony Richardson went down with another injury. The Mets finally beat the Brewers yesterday. We heard Chris Carlin on the call as Rutgers won again, this time beating Washington. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer is doing an appearance today with Ja Rule. Hour 3 On Friday night, the Knicks traded for Karl-Anthony Towns which sent Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to the T-Wolves. Gio was shocked. He's ok with losing Randle, but hates losing DiVincenzo. Towns' reputation around the league is that he's soft, which will not be tolerated here. He has got to fit in with this Knicks team. Gio thinks it's going to work out because he doesn't have to be the face of the team. Jalen Brunson is the face of the franchise. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Jets losing to the Broncos as Aaron Rodgers got flattened. The Bucs had no problem with the Eagles. Tom Brady answered Baker Mayfield's criticism. The Commanders beat the Cardinals and they were very excited for Kliff Kinsbury. The Ravens beat the Bills last night thanks to a huge game by Derrick Henry. The Mets beat the Brewers yesterday and have a huge doubleheader today in Atlanta. In the final segment of the hour, we took a bunch of calls. One of them is a 71 year old woman who just retired from her job in Montana working in mines. Hour 4 Ron Darling of SNY joins us live from Atlanta to preview the double-header starting at 1pm today. Gio asked him what the chances are that Pete Alonso turns into Daniel Murphy in the playoffs. This double-header has ‘split' written all over it. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with Carlos Mendoza talking about today's huge double-header in Atlanta. If the Mets win game 1, do they celebrate or wait until after game 2? The Jets lost to the Broncos and we heard from Rob Saleh. Jerry went around the NFL from yesterday, including the Bu ...

If the Mets win game 1, do they celebrate or wait until after game 2? The Jets lost to the Broncos and we heard from Rob Saleh. Jerry went around the NFL from yesterday, including the Bucs beating the Eagles. We talked about the size of Doug Pederson's head. The Moment of The Day: No matter what Gio's take is on the Vikings, Boomer doesn't like it. In the final segment of the show, we need to find another date to go to Phil Simms' house to watch football.

On this episode of The Sports Info Solutions Baseball Podcast, Mark Simon (@markasimonsays) is joined by Rays outfield prospect Chandler Simpson, a baseball fan who cleverly used analytics for good, Jenn Rubenstein (@queerfancystats), and SIS baseball operations analyst Stephen Marciello (LinkedIn) .Chandler introduced himself by telling us about some videos online showing him as a kid dancing like Michael Jackson … and how those skills related to baseball. He walked us through the idea of ball, wall, ball and walked us through the best play he's made in the minors. Note: After the interview, Chandler was the star of the minor league game at Rickwood Field on Tuesday (though he also left the game with a calf injury). He also told us all the different checkpoints he considers when thinking (or not thinking) about stealing a base. And he explained why he's studying the hitting of Luis Arraez so closely.Jenn told us about how they used analytics as a way to calculate donations to LGBTQ-related causes, how the idea originated, MLB's relationship with LGBTQ fans, and what a misidentified pair of socks can teach us about changing your thoughts when data presents itself to show that you're wrong.Stephen explained his role at SIS and talked about some of the game's breakout players in 2024.Thank you for listening.
