He built one of the largest men's fitness movements online. He still can't feel joy. Dean Pohlman is the founder of Man Flow Yoga — a community that has helped over 100,000 men reduce pain, build functional strength, and reclaim their bodies. He's also the host of the Better Man podcast. On paper, he's the kind of high-performing man this show is built for. ¡Gracias! Gracias a ti, Tito.

Join us for episode 484 of the Theme Park Trader Podcast! Disney's Hollywood Studios is having a massive identity crisis. Is it a tribute to the Golden Age of Cinema, or just a parking lot for Star Wars and Toy Story? Disney's Hollywood Studios is in the middle of a massive identity crisis. Is it a park about the magic of movies, or has it just become a storage locker for big franchises? On this episode of the Theme Park Trailer Podcast, Ryan and Donna are making the "Keep It or Kill It" calls for 2026. With Monstropolis construction moving fast and the Muppets taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, the duo spars over what needs to stay and what needs to be ripped out to save the park. In this episode: The Identity Battle: Is Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway a worthy icon, or are we still grieving The Great Movie Ride? Galaxy's Edge Wars: Should Disney finally kill the strict Sequel Trilogy timeline and let Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker walk around Batuu? Star Tours vs. Galaxy's Edge: Does the "Greatest Hits" version of Star Wars belong in a different land, or is it the best ride in the park? The Sunset Boulevard Debate: Does Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage still have that Broadway magic, or is it time for an Encanto or Wish takeover? Toy Story Land Problems: We love the "backyard" scale, but is it time to "Kill" the immersion to add much-needed shade and "human-sized" bathrooms? BaseLine TapHouse: Can the park's best "chill spot" survive the expansion of Grand Avenue? STAY TUNED: This is just the beginning. We're debating so much that we're splitting this into a Part Two, where we dive into the Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones, and the future of Animation Courtyard! What would YOU "Kill" at Hollywood Studios? Let us know in the comments!
About the EpisodeOn this episode of The Bandwich Tapes, I sit down with keyboardist, arranger, bandleader, and all-around musical Swiss Army knife Jeff Babko. Jeff is one of those musicians whose career quietly spans an incredible range of musical worlds, from television and touring to studio work and bandleading, and our conversation ends up feeling like a masterclass in how to build a life in music while staying curious and grounded. We start in the present, where Jeff has recently stepped into a larger leadership role on Jimmy Kimmel Live! following the passing of longtime music director Cleto Escobedo. Jeff reflects on what that responsibility means to him and how leading a band in that environment requires both musical preparation and a deep sense of trust and respect for the musicians around you. From there we rewind to an important musical turning point. Jeff tells the story of seeing James Taylor live in college, backed by a band that included Don Grolnick, Jimmy Johnson, Mike Landau, and Carlos Vega. For Jeff, that moment crystallized what “grown-up musicianship” could look like—players serving the music with taste, humility, and deep craft. We also talk about Jeff's time at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music and the lifelong community that came out of those years. That theme of musical community carries into his long-running collaboration with Steve Martin and Martin Short, where Jeff has learned firsthand how musical timing and comedic timing often work the same way. Playing for comedians, it turns out, requires the same instincts as great improvisation.Toward the end of the conversation, we zoom out to bigger questions: legacy, awards, AI, and what actually lasts in a musical life. Jeff shares a perspective I really love: the most meaningful musical moments often aren't the ones captured online. They're the warm-up before a taping, the look between bandmates, or the feeling of someone in the audience connecting with the music in real time.Key TakeawaysVersatility is a career advantage — Jeff's work spans television, touring, arranging, and bandleading.Leadership grows from trust and preparation — especially in environments like Jimmy Kimmel Live!.Seeing great musicians early can shape a path — Jeff's experience watching James Taylor's band left a lasting impression.Musical communities matter — relationships formed in school and early careers often last decades.Comedy and music share timing instincts — playing for comedians requires the same listening and responsiveness as improvisation.Humility sustains a career — serving the music and the band keeps the work meaningful. The most powerful musical moments are human ones — often unseen and impossible to capture online.Music from the EpisodeHead Trauma - Mondo Trio (Jeff Babko, Jeff Coffin, & Vinnie Colauita)International Client - Jeff BabkoFranklin - Jeff BabkoNostalgia is For Suckas - Jeff BabkoAbout the PodcastThe Bandwich Tapes is a podcast hosted by Brad Williams, featuring conversations with musicians, composers, producers, and creative thinkers about their musical journeys. John Leguizamo is back on our screens—though he never really left. For decades he has played characters that have become comedy cult classics: Chi Chi Rodriguez in To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar, to Benny Blanco in Carlitos Way, and Tybalt in Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet. He’s the voice of Bruno in Encanto and Sid the Sloth in Ice Age. Roles that he argues would have skyrocketed any white actor to stardom. In this episode we break down his roles, why he thinks entertainers have a responsibility to speak up and get a peek into his new Hulu show where he plays Pablo Escobar. Most stories frame conflict as something happening "out there"—a villain to defeat, an obstacle to overcome, or a problem to solve. But the most powerful character arcs aren't really about defeating the antagonist. They're about the protagonist reclaiming agency. In this episode, we explore the deeper difference between internal conflict vs. external conflict and why strong stories use external conflict not just to create tension, but to force meaningful inner change. We also look at how stories can unintentionally weaken their protagonists when they place too much emphasis on blaming the antagonist—and how the strongest character arcs instead move from projection to responsibility. We'll discuss: Why external conflict is often a mirror for internal conflict How focusing too much on the antagonist's culpability can weaken character agency Why stories about blame often feel hollow How powerful character arcs reclaim responsibility and sovereignty Practical questions you can use to strengthen your own characters We'll also examine examples from Encanto, All the Light We Cannot See, Jane Eyre, and Harry Potter to see how the most meaningful victories in story often come not from changing external circumstances, but from changing how the protagonist shows up within them. If you've ever wondered how to deepen your character arcs or better align your plot with your story's thematic meaning, this episode offers practical insights into how internal and external conflict work together to create powerful transformation.
In this episode of The Stepmom Side Podcast, Alicia wraps up the Role Clarity Series by exploring what happens when expectations in blended families exceed a stepmom's emotional and mental capacity. Many stepmoms feel pressure to overextend themselves in order to keep the peace, avoid conflict, or prove they are a “good” stepmom. This episode helps listeners identify expectations they may be carrying unconsciously, evaluate whether those expectations are sustainable, and begin honoring their own capacity without guilt. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or resentful in your stepmom role, this episode will help you reassess expectations and create healthier boundaries.Resources mentioned:Surface Pressure from "Encanto"Define Your Role As A StepmomSupport the showWant a specific topic covered? We throw ourselves into a brutally fun Disney Would You Rather showdown where every choice comes with a consequence — and there's absolutely no fence-sitting allowed. Encanto is coming to Animal Kingdom… so do you double down with another blockbuster attraction or finally fix Tomorrowland once and for all? Only visit EPCOT during festivals… or give them up forever in exchange for a free table service meal every visit? Build a fifth gate in Orlando… or continually expand the four parks we already love? And that's just the beginning. We debate ride strategy chaos like standby-only Guardians vs virtual queue forever, losing all boat rides vs losing all dark rides, and whether you'd rather guarantee Flight of Passage stays under 30 minutes or finally see the Yeti working perfectly again. Then we dive into dining dilemmas, resort loyalty tests, and park-day strategy battles that reveal what kind of Disney fan you really are — rope drop every day or close the parks every night? Plan everything 60 days out or completely wing it? This episode is part nostalgia, part strategy, part chaos — and 100% the kind of conversation that will have you yelling your answers at your speakers.
In this episode, we've traveling to la Isla del Encanto a.k.a. Puerto Rico! Considered the island's most haunted locations, Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal are two fortresses that defended the island's sovereignty from invaders over the course of centuries. Many of those that died in battle are now believed to still be in these stone fortresses, either as a whisper in the dark, an apparition marching on the ramparts, or a shadow that follows too closely.Email us any personal paranormal and true crime encounters and/or suggestions at: quespookypodcast@gmail.comFollow us on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube: @quespookypodcast And we have a lil merch store now!
