The 25-year-old, 6 foot-4 inch, 220-pound winger signed a 1-year deal with the Flyers starting in the 2024/2025 season. He is coming off a season where he played for Lulea HF of the Swedish Hockey League. Eklind led the team in a few stats for Lulea including Goals, Hits, Powerplay Goals, and Penalty Minutes.
