James Seltzer, in for Joe DeCamara on the the 94 WIP Morning Show, is against Jose Alvarado getting a standing ovation in his first game back with the Phillies after being suspended for PEDs earlier this season. Rob Thomson, last night, said it was an 'honest mistake' that Alvarado made, but James, Rhea Hughes, and Justin Dorazio were not buying it. Rhea made a good point- that the fans at the stadium stood and cheered more because the team has been winning rather than about Alvarado. Trea Turner has been playing awesome lately.

Ben Davis thinks the series versus the Mariners was the best series the Phillies have played in the last 5 years. Last night was the first game that Jose Alvarado has pitched in the MLB since he was suspended for PEDs. The fans at Citizen's Bank Park gave him a standing ovation. The 94 WIP Morning Show wasn't so happy with that idea. Rob Thomson in an interview last night said it was an 'honest mistake' and he was happy that the fans accepted him back. James and the Morning team think that what he did to the organization was selfish. Trea Turner has been a rock-star lately.

It's a two-part episode as Alex and Sarah reunite after a few weeks out in the wild! Social media is all abuzz with clips of Rachel Zegler's performance of "Don't Cry For Me Argentinia" in Evita at The London Palladium. The only ones not talking about it? Theatre critics – who have to wait until early July to give their verdicts on the show. With weeks of embargoes, are critics having a tough time either cutting through the social media noise, or even being able to say anything before a show's initial excitement has died down? Separately, Sarah has some thoughts on the increasing trend towards the obligatory standing ovation – do more audiences need to sit down and stop rocking the boat? Hosted on Acast. BYU chooses some interesting guest speakers. One recent speaker is Jonathan Rauch, a gay atheist supporting compromise between the LGBTQ agenda and institutional religion. Mostly Christianity. Political veteran Paul Mero and political influencer Eric Moutsos discuss the real fallout of this compromise and dissect its faults. A lot of new fluffy word are used but in the end, Rauch is simply asking the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to compromise on legally on an anti-family agenda. A compromise that strengthens churches' right to discriminate while removing rights from their members and all citizens.  Website- www.cwicmedia.com

It can be rare to receive – or maybe more importantly to give – meaningful recognition for the important work being done all around us. In our race to the next activity, next location, next appointment, we often hurry right past the individuals providing worthy service directly in front of us. Rarely do we pause and thank the janitor for the clean bathroom, the cashier for taking the order, the driver for safe transport, or the hotel clerk for working the night shift. By contrast, through a lot of grace, a ton of help from others and a bit of luck, I stumbled into a profession where I am frequently thanked with fancy dinners, standing ovations, and long lines with hugs and handshakes. This encouragement from others adds joy to my life and a reminder that my work matters. Let me explain.
