The dudes start the episode wondering where the hell Drew is and then Jump right into Food Poisoning stories. Steve really gets things going when he mentions a light hearted documentary by Ken Burns on the Vietnam war that he started earlier in the day, Then Fox breaks down not drinking for Lent, Josh takes his kids to Buffalo Wild Wings, steve shares hanging out with his ex girlfriend and bar hoping in midtown in their 40's. The dudes then reminisce about a party that Fox got wild at 17 years ago and annoyed the hell out of everyone that was there. We then discuss going to a local Goth Club here in Sacramento and just see what it's like, you know, just to check it out…then these dummies try and figure out what Goth music is. Steve talks about loud music as well as talking to a weird dude at a bar that said he was a dog in his past life. Fox share that his son is really into volcanos and the inappropriate documentary that he showed him. Josh and fox then break down Wes Anderson movies and the Scream painting, the dudes then share their knowledge or lack there of on volcano's and then back into Wes Anderson movies. Steve gets weird with weather conspiracy theories which Josh and Fox immediately shoot down and explain to him how weather work and how the media sensationalize names for the weather. The guys then brainstorm on how to write a cease and desists letter without any legal knowledge. FINALLY after much anticipation, we listen to our first Dude Stew Hotline Caller and well…it's an interesting one. We then move into Josh having to sign a consent for his preschooler watching rated R movies as well as what the first rated R movies we all saw as wee lads was. Steven Sagal movies are next up and Action movie in general. We try and wrap up but then talk about upcoming concerts. As always it's a silly ass episode. We meet the Vulcan everyone warned you about at the Goth Club as we review "Fusion". We get the standard Enterprise tropes here - Archer gets more traumatic brain injury, T'Pol gets the short end of the stick, and Trip is a super bro to the first fat Vulcan.
It’s Wednesday, so have a drink with Tom and Jenny and participate in one of our rambling conversations.

This month we are going to be taking a look at those liminal and elusive cultural groupings that have become tangential to goth such as witch house, synthwave, nu goth and so on. I want to look at what the cultural legacy and impact these groupings have had on the scene are and whether or not they have lost their subversive novelty or are going to make a comeback. In this episode of Fire Bad, Tree Pretty, Amanda and Lydia discuss S02E07 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Lie to Me." Points of interest: Oreo crimes, nitrous oxide funny cars, a human red flag, BUT HOW THOUGH?, Mushy, BonePone, spending your weekend standing in a coffin at the goth club, no sympathy for this dick needle, we all want Giles to lie to us, and breaking Buffy news.
Come to the Goth Club, the hottest club in Toronto! Then murder a dude in an alley. Then send your friends back to the club a few times until they solve the case by talking to an art dealer. You know what? It sounds weird this way but honestly it's one of the best episodes of season one.
