In this episode of the Your Harrogate podcast, Nick Hancock is chatting to Gemma Young from Henshaws to find out about the Henshaws Hundreds fundraising campaign. The charity supports people with sight loss and other disabilities, and throughout June they're looking for people and businesses to help raise much-needed funds. Henshaws Hundreds is looking for one hundred businesses to agree to raise at least £100 each through different challenges, whether they be walking, running, dancing or even singing! Gemma tells us more about how you can get involved and help the charity raise money this month.

Horticap provide adults with learning and other disabilities training in horticulture, allied crafts and rural skills. Henshaws support people with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to go beyond expectations. 21 teams of 4 took part, including ex-footballers Paul Robinson, Gary McAllister and Danny Mills. UK sight loss charity Henshaws has created a residential, and virtual, training programme for young people with sight loss. It's designed to improve confidence, develop a wide range of mobility and independence skills plus much, much more. Ahead of the 2018 Skipton Triathlon we hear from organisers and those taking part.

As a broadcaster, Stephen Kingsberry sets out to challenge the notion of what people who are blind can do.  He has been winched up in a helicopter, has climbed though a submarine and has interviewed a range of subjects including Jeffery Archer. Stephen presents his program on UK audio news and magazine service National Talking Express in the UK. He has also recently become an ambassador for UK charity Henshaws. Stephen has an extended conversation with Stella on his early career, his love of audio and the people he has met over the years.
