So I recorded myself giving presentations while driving my truck, in front of a mirror, etc. I did 52 weeks of recording driving to work and I made sure I did it every week, for a year straight. Not for content creation and not for anybody else. Yes, there was good content there and I would make sure I posted on YouTube, even before I went into the office.12:30 – As a coach, in both the mindset life coaching part of my business and the fitness part of my business, it doesn't matter what side of the spectrum you're on, you got to listen to your client first. 43:30 – I work only with the lifestyle mindset coaching side of things, I don't coach them in fitness. I coach them on their lives. We work through the victim mentality and impostor syndrome. Soft talking through the past experiences and the story work. These things take up space in us. We don't realize they're taking up space in us which means we can't bring in new positive experiences. Because this something that is still holding on to us from the past, that we haven't learned to express or let go of or deal with. It's blocking us from moving forward. This happened to me, the reason I am more successful now than I was four years ago, is because four years ago, I had a block. I knew I had a block. 50:00 – I am often focused on the mindset coaching and lifestyle coaching which are my passions that I do outside of the gym. You have to be ready for those conversations. I had a local business that hired me and it was a six week program where I brought them through how to structure, how to plan, and they didn't respond well to the one the week with what I had designed. They all bottled up got really closed off. It was a big time tough room. I felt it and you could feel that in the owner too. So I pivoted and I flipped the script.01:17:30 – Final Words Our Final Words of the Show: That's probably why I came out so happy today. It's one of the things why I shut my mind off for an hour. I focused on whether I was not flat footed or was on my toes or rotating enough. Or like how I was striking or if I was connected to every movement I did. I was listening and learning and taking criticism. It was awesome. That's pretty cool and more people need to experience that. That feeling to just be centered and...
Anthony Chaffee Returns To Spread The Good Word On The Healthy Benefits Of The Carnivore Way Of Life: Dr. Anthony Chaffee is an American medical doctor and Neurosurgical resident who, over a span of 25+ years, has researched the optimal nutrition for human performance and health. I think it's important to get that message out to as many people as possible. You will get people saying whatever the hell they want to say, in a very negative fashion, but it's a vast minority of people. The vast majority of people tell me about how much better they are, how many illnesses they've fixed. They tell me how their dad's out of a nursing home and is able to live on his own again, and that he's off all his medications. Or how someone underweight has put on weight after living very frail and skinny and now he's putting on muscle again. Just like other people are losing excess weight, they're feeling much better, and their diabetes is gone, their acid reflux is gone. 300lbs Released, Not Aerodynamic, Yet, but a Hell of a Redesign: My name is Scott King 46 years old. Huge all my life. In 2006 I had gastric bypass. Day of surgery I was 552lbs. Lost weight but as these surgeries seem to go I gained all my weight back. I tried to have gastric again and was denied. I heard Vinnie Tortorich on the Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew show and as a last ditch effort I tried NSNG. I have lost 300lbs from it. Never been healthier. I have set my unicorn of all goals and that's the Ironman Texas in 2025. I hope this journey inspires the hopeless to take a change and encourage others.Quote: Less of me with NSNG Today's Top 3 Takeaways: Kitchen vs the gym.Healthy lifestyle choices vs surgical band-aids.NSNG Lifestyle vs a crash diet. But as I got into triathlon training, I realized I was actually a strong floater, and I wasn't the strongest swimmer. That is, I was very buoyant and so I mistakenly thought that meant I was a good swimmer. That was a whole entire different beast and my first try was a pool swim, a short one, then you go into open water swim. That's a whole different animal too now that you got currents to deal with, even in a small body of water. It'll expose every flaw or weakness you have in any technique.17:30 – I'm going to build up to that Ironman level of training. But with that comes incredible expenses. entry fees, all of that stuff. I mean, just simple stuff like hydration, nutrition, and that sort of thing. Buying shoes, because I'm a big guy, I wear out shoes, bicycle stuff, everything has a huge expense. Let's not forget I have three daughters. I've told Vinnie before I live in a trickle down economic system in my house, nothing trickles down to Dad, I'm the afterthought.24:15 – I had gastric bypass back in 2006 and I lost a good chunk of weight. Like a lot of people though, I started putting the weight back on. Roughly, around 2016-17, I was pretty much back exactly to where I was when I had gastric bypass beforehand. So I've tried to have gastric bypass again, because oddly enough, and I say this in quotations if you can get both or whatever. It was the only thing that ever worked for me. Which is kind of ironic because I'm trying to have it again because it didn't work for me.26:00 – So I downloaded a PDF, just saying screw it, I gotta check this No Sugar No Grains out. It was a simple list of don't do this, don't do that. I'm married, so I get this list, I'm pretty good at it, but I still didn't do anything about it. I took a leave of absence for three weeks and ran for office and then I didn't win. So now I'm back doing my prior role, so I've always kind of been in the political space. I've got people talking to me now about running for office next year. I don't know if I have another campaign in me.16:40 – Now, one thing that our politicians in Utah do, though, is they want to show people they're doing stuff. So the last two or three days of the legislative session, they suspend the rules, and they'll pass like two or 300 bills in two or three days, which is nuts, because it's like, look, you haven't read them. 18:30 – I don't want to discount either the people who are just out there trying to live their life. I mean, if you're running a business, if you're out there, you're contributing to the world in a way that you're good at, and you get paid for. I mean, you're making a difference, too. 28:25 – Back to that idea of balance again. I don't I hate the word balanced, because people think of it as okay, I've got six things I'm trying to do. So I'm trying to keep the thing centered. I don't think that's realistic. But recognize what you're sacrificing over here to make progress over here. So that you don't ruin this column to gain in this column.48:00 – I just finished phase one. Honestly, 30 days of phase one was harder than 75 days of 75 Hard. I'm doing phase two right after Thanksgiving. Because you have to wait 30 days, between phases. If you fail during those 30 days, there's no penalty, right? So are you going to do it just because? It's funny because some of the stuff like I'm not working out twice a day anymore, I just follow my regimen. I have a program that gives me workouts for my triathlon next year. I'm gonna do a half Ironman, that's my goal next year. So if there's one workout in the day, that's all I'm doing, right? But the deal is, is if you slack off some are you disciplined enough when it matters to kick it back in? So 30 days is enough time to really get out of the habit if you're not going to stick to it.52:00 – Final Words Our Final Words of the Show: Well, it's interesting, because I was talking to somebody earlier today, and they pointed out that the market is tough, right? The dev market has just been for the people that are out there. You know, some of them have kind of been coasting, you know, got pretty comfortable. Then all of a sudden, the market is not as great you see stuff start to soften up. You see a bunch of people getting laid off. I mean, when we're talking about this level of personal excellence and stuff like that, it, it really comes down to if you're doing the work...

Some of the concussive sounds that I have heard in the Army with no hearing protection on the market would have helped or would have protected it to that degree. People who like binaural beats, they like the guided meditations and solfeggio has worked for them as well. They're familiar with it, and they know how that works. Now, the one thing I did was, add images, all of the images in Melody Clouds are award winning art and award winning photography. 45:15 – That is our philosophy as...

Hitting the machines and not really dropping into your body or really experiencing movement. How do you actually learn how to mindfully move your body from the intention of wanting to care for your body, not from the intention of wanting to change the way you look? So you can get external validation and feel good about yourself? Right. So that's kind of how we got to here!10:40 – I also think that if you surround yourself with people who are all stuck in the same toxic mindset, then you end up complaining and circulating in that mindset. It's interesting to me, one of the things that we discovered early on about community was, it is one of the greatest predictors to overall longevity. In fact, I think it was Wendy Suzuki is a neuroscientist that said that it was the number one predictor of longevity is the amount of positive connections you have with other people. 14:30 – I feel like this is something I've become really aware of. It's the stuff that you build on top of it that matters. So Google built this application layer on top of it, that sorts it all out and allows for that custom domain email universal platform for businesses. They have two advantages. One is that they've been doing this for a really, really long time. So they they've gotten pretty good just on their own building algorithms to say for example, hey that looks like spam! The second thing is now we're getting into the age where you have Machine Learning aka AI aka Artificial Intelligence. What it is, is they are taking this giant data model, and you train it against the systems that build basically mathematical formulas that replicate the result you want. 09:10 – This is all in software. So effectively, what you do is you set up your system and then you feed it. You say, here's an email, it's spam. Here's another email, it's spam. Here's an email, it's not spam. You send millions and billions of emails through to the end, what happens is when you send an email that you don't know, it can come back and it can say this is 90% chance, it's spam. So then you just have to decide how sensitive you want to be. The more you train it, the better it gets.20:20 – The issue that I had was this CRM, it did a bunch of stuff, I could go I could cancel like four or five services, because they all could now get consolidated. So I was super excited. I start using it, and then it seemed okay, but the email deliverability was in the toilet. So they're like, hey, look, you know, we have this tech expert that will go in and fix it for you. So I paid the extra to have the guy come in and fix it for me. So he comes in and fixes it and the deliverability gets better. It's not where it was using the other system. But it wasn't so bad that I just threw up my hands in disgust and walked away. 30:30 – So I went back to Schedule Once, and you know that they're cheap. So it's not a big deal. But they'll let you set up booking pages that all go to different calendars. That's the kicker, and I have to set up like 10 of them for all the podcasts and everything else. Then I can use the Zoho calendar thing, because it's already built into everything else, just for the stuff that involves just me.42:15 – Final Words Our Final Words of the Show: The thing...

So that's what we're gonna do. We're gonna just give everyone something that they can chew on that's palatable, and really simplify this topic of invisible waveforms, known as EMF.10:45 – That's a scalar wave framework for the entire planet, our resonance, our electromagnetic field through piezo, electric thermal dynamics, our energy in our body, it doesn't just shoot off my right shoulder to the right in a straight line. Though it's six foot, they got the gig got us right on that one. And then, but it's a resonance that goes all around us. That's a scalar wave. All non-native manmade electromagnetic fields or frequencies are one directional waveforms, or they don't work, right.16:20 - That's what EMF stressors do for our body battery. So at the cellular level, it's breaking down your electromagnetic resonance, and then dehydrates us too because it's 2.45 billion waves per second. It's the level of destructuring water. That's a lot of bombardment! That'll chip anyone away over time. I am dumbfounded to see that these professionals, like the NFL or MBA, their arenas, they're getting bought out and sold and getting strapped with 5g this, 5g that. They're zapping these athletes and are making crappy decisions. When these guys are machines, they never make mistakes, and then they're getting hurt due to these...

That's why they're all number one. One of them is, Everything Communicates and that's one of the things that communicates. I'll tell you kind of the converse of the story...19:00 – Well, so we need to be strategic absolutely about communication, because, you know, how many times have you been there whether you're in communications or not. You're at work and somebody comes to you and says, oh, you know, we need to send out an email about XYZ. People's minds, especially when it goes to communication, a lot of times just go to the tactic, we need an email, we need a meeting, we need a town hall, we need a video. 23:25 - Tell them a story! That's my third number one rule of communication, is to tell them a story. Why is that? Go back to caveman drawings. That's just the natural way for humans to communicate and to relate to one another and to move one another, to action. Frankly, it's not that tough, because there's a very simple structure. 29:20 – Regarding the e-Learning we've got, it's all about the video success. So you got the visual and the audio, but then we also have little exercises that reinforce a lot of the points that we talked about in the videos. Then we also added in each of the courses, we have these downloadable tools and templates that you can take and keep. If you want you want to go old school, you print it out and you stick it up next to your desk and you can consult it regularly. Take The Red Pill, Non-Consensual Authority, Freedom Of Medical Choice, And More: After over 30 years in the entertainment industry working “behind the curtain” for some of music's biggest names, John turned his attention to health and wellness in an effort to help his wife heal from what was originally diagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis. He soon realized that the same deceit and profit motive that plagued the entertainment media was even worse inside the Medical Industrial Complex. As a devout Agorist and champion of individuality, he now devotes his time to producing content that celebrates the spirit of sovereignty in all aspects of life.Quote: “A lie is a lie, even if everyone believes it. As independent companies get successful, they almost inevitably always get bought up. Once they're bought up, they're absorbed into that corrupt world. Ambassadors moroseness and then they're just a name and a logo that has to align with whatever the mother corpse narratives and marketing initiatives might be and so where is your individuality? Professional and personal individuality is definitely the enemy of the state. By the state, I mean the corporate state, the corporate state is government, the corporate state is medicine, the corporate state is law, the corporate state is everything that we call the system, schools, everything, and yes even our food.10:45 – The key word there is look at the definition of non-consensual, actually hell, to be fair, even if it is consensual, I have an ethical issue with a lot of stuff like that. I'd rather work together with somebody, not control that right, let's instead educate each other, let's help each other through that, that next step of life. Let's do the research to get to the point of shared education. I'm not going to just control somebody. So even if somebody gave me consent, I still feel weird about that. 21:20 - It's about their model, they have three tools in their tool belt. They're going to drug you, they're going to burn you through radiation, or they're going to cut you through surgery. It's either drug, cut, or burn. That's the only tools the doctors have got. They're not taught, preventative anything. They're not taught nutrition. They're not taught exercise. They're not taught healthy light. They're not taught about impacts of healthy water, salt aka electrolytes, etc.22:30 - In a quest to find out answers about my wife, in a nutshell, it took about six months of digging to realize that the that entire health industry is just BS. I'm not saying that there are not good, well-meaning, sincere people that work in that industry. But the...

You have to find a way to look at it, that's exactly what the first couple of years of this was like. It was hard, but you kind of you relax with it. We joked around because neither one of us knew what was going on. I looked at it, I thought, was she cheating on me with somebody? Is she in the mafia, something that I don't know about? Is she living a double life? All these weird thoughts. Then she's looking at me going, are you looking at weird stuff on the internet? I mean, just all these thoughts, because you have no idea nowadays, and then, why are these people in our house?!10:45 – We had to end up selling our home, we had to end up dealing with all kinds of different issues that weren't documented. So I'm doing the best I can based on what I believe they wanted. Well, there were other family members who disagreed. So that became a big point of of problem.20:00 - The number one thing is, anybody involved, and I mean anybody, step relatives, uncles, aunts, brothers cousins, friends down the street, they should all be involved in all the decisions for clear communication. Either in writing, in a group meeting, etc, so that there's witnesses that can say, yeah, I saw that all 10 of us agreed with what were doing. I mean, other than what you said, the wills and signed agreements and all that stuff. The other thing too, is just don't pay yourself to take care of your your relatives. I mean, there's a lot of different philosophies on that. 31:50 – We had to have two different attorneys. You can't have one attorney represent you. So you have to have two separate attorneys. It just became this odyssey, I felt like every day I was getting up and having an out of body experience because it was so not my life of crime. Up to this point, I only had some speeding tickets. I had an open container when I was like 19 years old in college. That was it. So here, I was caught in this thing. Thank God she, I mean, she's just an angel. To this day, she's it, she has incredible friends. She's an incredible person. Thank God because if she wasn't, she would have left me in a heartbeat.40:50 – I think it was smart move. I don't have a legal background. I'm not here to say whether you are guilty or innocent. I love the fact that you're honest. You say, we definitely screwed up, and we definitely didn't do some things that were within the legal process, that's why we got nailed. Then you stepped up and you owned it because you want to protect your family and not get drug through a massive trial of...
Yes, A Vegan Can Heal By Turning To A Carnivore Way Of Life: Claire is a Carnivore Coach, specialized on Mental health, eating disorders, and living the Lion Diet thanks to her own personal story of transformation to save her life for her son and her own well being.Quote: Meat Heals My Friends!Listen in to learn her story of healing, recovery, and transformation from Anorexia Nervosa, and so much more! Her Struggle With Anorexia Nervosa: Growing up in France, Claire ate the typical French diet rich in saturated fat and protein. A dancer, she was naturally thin like her fellow ballerinas-in-training. Constant comparisons as to who was the slimmest, however, led Claire to develop body-image issues, and as she entered her teenage years, she started to restrict her eating. Her parents were in the dark about her struggles, and after experiencing a traumatic incident at the age of 16, her eating disorder got worse and developed into full-blown Anorexia Nervosa.Finding The Carnivore Diet: As the years passed by, Claire became a prisoner of her tyrannical eating disorder. At 5′ 7″, her weight would go on to drop to a life-threatening 69 pounds. She became so frail she had to use a wheelchair, and at one point, she even lost the fat from her optical nerves and went blind for months. Her hair fell out, her teeth fell out, and her heart rate was always hovering below 40. In 2017, she got the flu and died on the table for several minutes. At 33 years old, Claire was desperate beyond measure and started looking for alternative ways to try and conquer Anorexia. When she came across the carnivore diet, she was intrigued by its simplicity. She started with a low-fat option but still didn't feel very well. Then, in July of 2021, Claire was unable to go swimming with her family when on vacation because she was freezing cold—even though it was the middle of the summertime. In her sadness, she became resolved to give the carnivore diet a real try and booked a coaching session with one of the Carnivore.Diet coaches online. They encouraged Claire to think about eating meat and fat like taking medicine, and if she committed to it fully, her body would heal—fast.“I was so scared, but from one day to another, I only ate fatty meat…it was a life changer.” Claire started off with easy-to-digest ground beef. She also drank raw egg yolks and snacked on butter—sometimes up to several sticks a day!“I was eating fat all the time, and my body handled it fantastically…It was like body happiness…I couldn't stop! Since the moment I started eating this way, I was not able to restrict myself anymore. I have to eat when I'm hungry—my body is so happy with it!Finding Happiness and Learning Weight Optimization: Within three months, Claire was able to gain 20 pounds and come off all of her anti-depression medication—in close collaboration with her doctor, of course! Now, 39 years old and with a full head of hair, Claire is up to 110 pounds. Instead of being wheelchair-bound and blind, she is able to jump on the trampoline with her son and work all day in her job as an engineer. All of her blood markers are excellent as well, leaving her doctors amazed.Any lingering concerns about her weight have vanished, and Claire is miraculously unbothered by the scale. “The carnivore diet is not about weight loss; it's about weight optimization. So, if it brings me to gain twenty more pounds or thirty more pounds—it's possible—I don't have any trouble with it.I want to feel satiated all the time, and I want to be able to think clearly, and I don't want to restrict… I'm eating amazing food, I'm doing some movement, I'm sleeping well, so the weight will be what it has to be.Today's Top 3 Takeaways: Eating...

We don't do what most coaching companies or training companies do most of, that shits boring and useless, as well. Wat they do is usually provide formulas that gesture at results. We don't mess around. We drive with three very distinct conversations. One is we do care about results. That's what people are paying for, something new that's happening that wasn't happening before. So we get really clear on that and how do we do that? Well, leadership, if we could talk about what leadership is for a long time, but at least we know, leadership is getting results through other people. 23:00 - In our work, we call it vital competencies. This is where life is like the connection between two humans, that's where life is, period. I mean, we can have a transaction, but we're not gonna have a future together, that is, unless we like each other. We get some vested interest, and we get shared interest together. Actually, you know what, I'd really trust Scott, I get this guy, even if we want different things, and I get you. We might be on the other side of the table, but it's like, Man, I get this dude. He's a real deal. Now that's vital. That's like truth telling and that's really listening. That's the presence and all of the things that you naturally show up as30:00 – When I first got into coaching, I would hope nobody would ask, how how'd you get into this? Because I wasn't an Accenture guy, I wasn't an IBM guy, I wasn't a Google guy. There's a natural thing here, I've been spending years doing a bunch of crazy weird shit, from being an ICU nurse at the bedside, when trying to keep a kid alive, to running a multi-million dollar Foundation, to working mostly to doing leadership training with murderers to taking teams to go overseas.40:00 – It's honoring our convictions as much as our emotions most, the imposter syndrome was really my feelings about what's happening matter more to me than my capacity. I speak on lots of big stages these days, I sit in rooms, wave, and have conversations that have lots of dollar signs in the backend. Am I scared? Yes, I am. I am intimidated. I am insecure, I know all of that shits happening. When...

So the background on this is looking back now in working with experts, psychiatrists, I now know that I was living on the bipolar spectrum from teenage years. So in, I always had a, what they call a bipolar brain. But at first, it was a very low level of mania.10:00 – Mania is really the opposite of burnout. Because with mania, you're going continuously up, up, up until you blow up and come crashing down to earth. So the manic side of the cycle is up up more and more energy, less sleep, more grandiosity, etc. Then I would say, what goes up must come down. So when you reach a peak level, and your brain is over producing these key chemicals, when it's time to go the other way, the brain stops producing as much, and it gets fewer and fewer of these chemicals. Then that's when you hit the burnout, you fall into depression, and your brain essentially begins to shut down. I mean, no energy, withdrawn, confused, you can't make a decision, can't get out of bed, can't go to work. That's where I think the burnout comes in. It's just the natural byproduct of the mania.20:00 - Scott, you've actually given me a good idea, and something to think about. Maybe we have a little more specificity in who is my buddy, in what area I've given down here. You know, all my friends that, because I've written about 25 articles in close to 100 talks, everybody knows, Martin has a bipolar disorder. What I've done is I've given them these little cards that showed the symptoms of mania and depression. I've talked to them and said, okay, look, read this, do you understand it, if you see me displaying any of these symptoms,...

But there is no better time to be alive, right?! Think about it, we can create in the way that's easiest for us. For me, it's the same way, over podcasts, I can talk. But you know, writing a blog, that's a homework assignment, but we can talk and then we can repurpose it either with technology or the people helping us and make blogs out of it, make videos out of it, etc. You know, I always say if I talk for 45 minutes, my team can find like two minutes of genius in there.21:15 - I have gone through a few microphones and always want to sound better. If you talk you want the good quality, right? In podcasting, we must take pride in our audio quality.29:45 - There's a great marketing phrase out there, you're just one funnel away. I also think it's the biggest lie out there, because what works for small transactions does not work for high ticket relationship sales? Everybody keeps saying, oh, you're just one funnel away. Tell me Scott, the best things in your life, right, does your wife come through a funnel? Ha!34:00 – Well, I had a client that came to me and I said, well, why do you want to do podcast interview marketing? I loved his answer. He was a high level consultant. He said, because he thinks most of digital marketing today is the equivalent of advertising above urinals.40:00 – Even if it's all automated and a funnel, it doesn't matter because you're wasting their time. It's like, why don't you get five leads and five customers? That's one of the things I love about podcasting. Somebody's listening to you. You're either their guy or you're not. If you are great, then they reach out to you and ask how can we work together. They self select, but if you're not a good fit for him, then fine, but let's figure that out early on. Because at the end of the day, we don't need more leads, we need more need more sales.52:00 – For example, we just mentioned...

So I really got into home fitness and just trying to find my own routine that I can rely on, I don't always have the convenience of going to a location. Kettlebells were just one of those things I explored during that journey. 10:45 – I was telling someone earlier, I think one of the opportunities sports gives you is you get to play all of those battles out, kind of in a simulated way. Whether that's practice or lifting or the actual games and championships, you kind of get different levels of intensity of battles, and you get to win and lose them. I think that hardens you and prepares you for leading a team through obstacles, especially the unseen ones, you start into entrepreneurship, you never know exactly what every problem is going to be. Out of the problems that come along, the will, perseverance, and grit to get through comes about. If you have the right mindset, you can make it...

But, you know, throughout that I also even when I was a police officer, I was super interested in fitness. I was bodybuilding and powerlifting even when I was a police officer, as a police officer, I got as heavy as like 235 pounds as a power lifter, and I'd get down to 175 pounds for a bodybuilding competition.13:15 – I think that if we're coming in a couple different ways. From a department perspective, you know, obviously, like you said, unscripted, my thoughts go to leadership. Leadership is incredibly important in companies, in police departments, in anything. 22:25 - Even though fitness has been in my kind of personal DNA, when I was a state trooper, I started a little supplement company. I thought, if I can just make enough money to pay for my own protein powder, I'll be happy. So you know, we call it a side hustle now, but here was the thing, there was there was no internet then. So I placed little classified ads in the back of bodybuilding magazines like Flex Magazine, Ironman, and it was a toll free number and I couldn't even answer the phone because I was a police officer working. So when I got the call they would have to leave a message.33:00 – Why are we letting ourselves, and we're capable of so much, go down that emotionally depressed path? How do we catch them sooner? How do we get them in-line sooner to help themselves? - It's a great question. I think that part of the reason, I'll give this quote, "For every complex problem, there's an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong." Since it is a complex question, I'll try not to just turn it into one thing, you know, do it reductionist. I'll say this, I think that part of the answer is, if you have worked with people at all in the addiction space, it's not always rational, because in my head when I was 32, I was rational but like what is going on here?40:00 – There's so much to focus on, and it's more than just take

So the conferences were both in this old engine building factory that had been refurbished into like a venue for events. And so they have all of the old. Like the cranes in there and stuff. I mean, obviously, they're not moving it or using it. But yeah, you go in and they had a big screen down all the way at the end of the room. And they had speakers rooms upstairs. And anyway, it was it was very, very cool, then you a lot of the people that they had at the event, were some of the people that were kind of pushing the state of the art forward in JavaScript. And so and some of them I knew already, some of them we'd had on like JavaScript Jabber, which is our big podcast on JavaScript. And so yeah, so just meeting up with him in person, you know, getting to know him shaking hands. I recorded a handful of interviews.10:00 - The difference is, and it's kind of the same thing that I did with Microsoft for five or six years, is if you go as a speaker or influencer, it's a different thing. If you're going as an attendee, sometimes even some of the conferences just going as a speaker, it's different than going as an influencer. If you're one of the people that they go out of their way to get to the conference, then a lot of times, they'll pull out all the stops.19:30 - The other version of that is none of these technologies standstill. None of them do. So even if you're working in a place that is hey, we're going to stick on the version we're at, we're gonna use the technology we know. You find all kinds of opportunities learning the next thing in the technology you're already an expert in. Maybe you want to go with indie game development, which is one area that I want to branch into. It's super popular, and there's a ton of stuff going on, and it's getting easier. So if that's an area of interest for you, by all means, if you want to move into management, then you're talking about project management, people management and helping them do essentially what I'm doing just one on one.22:20 - The video game standing in for real life for military applications, you know, where maybe you replicate a cockpit, or combat situations where you're carrying
Working To Eliminate 10 Billion Pounds Of Waste, Let's Go Green: Jeremy believes creating businesses as a force of good to leave the world better than we found it. While climbing society's corporate ladder as an environmental consultant he felt the urge to live his own dreams so he started Open Mind Developments Corporation in 2007 to look at problems with an open mind for a different view, and solve them.Seeing plastic litter on a beach inspired Jeremy to create the world's first compostable phone case and Pela in 2011, to help solve the plastic waste problem. Pela recently created Lomi, a Smart Waste Appliance to help solve the food waste and plastic problem and is now creating a waste innovation category with a goal of eliminating 10 billions pounds of waste on their mission to create a waste free future.Jeremy's experience with self awareness, personal growth, going from zero to 1, going from employee to entrepreneur, the power of trust and a team, and the emotional side of business on his journey helps provide a guide for those who are ready to take action on their dreams, create their own personal legend and make the world a better place to be.Quote: We are the people we have been waiting for. - First Nations Elder Today's Top 3 Takeaways: Sustainable Product DesignPlant-based Alternatives to PlasticBe Courageous and Follow Your Dreams Today's Guest & Resource Links: www.pelacase.comwww.lomi.com Watch us on YouTube: https://youtu.be/FUyK6FaFL6o Timestamped Show Notes: 00:30 - Introduction09:25 - Another reason that we liked about phones at high margins, so you could pay more for material, small product, put in the mail, ship it directly to consumers and you don't have to worry about the big gatekeepers and getting into retail with low margins. So that's how early on we overcame that, that margin difference. In the grand scheme of things, no, it's not that much more.20:35 - In 2018, when the three of us partners came together, we really clarified our vision and our mission. Our mission, our crazy goal, was to create a waste free future by creating everyday products in an everyday way. So not just the product waste, but like packaging waste, and are we wasting energy or time? How can we use our product as a force of good and how can we support nonprofits? How can we build the most sustainable, environmentally friendly product or company in the world? So that was our basis point. 32:30 - We're not trying to solve the electrical grid generation issue. I believe, one day, we're gonna get there. It's going to be quicker, one day energy will be renewable. We've run all of the numbers, depending on if you're in Texas, or California, your carbon footprint is more or less. As long as you're not sending your end product to the landfill, it's a win. Because you're keeping it out of the landfill. It's either going in your backyard or in your farm or other place. So you're ahead from a carbon footprint standpoint, and we also are Climate Neutral certified. So we measure our carbon footprint every year. We try as best we can do our carbon footprint, but the stuff that we can't lower anymore, we purchased offsets, carbon credits. So when Lomi arrives at your door, all the manufacturing, all the transportation, and your phone case, you're at zero.40:30 - In regards to landfill methane collection, it's good, but it's not as efficient yet. It's a good step forward. They're trying, anytime you're trying, I give everyone credit, because...

The reason that even started was because when I went to Bali for the first time, I don't share the same religion as the Balinese folks do, but I've never seen such grateful people. That gratitude is off the charts in Bali!21:30 - I'm not all about the hustle, per se, because I like that steady flow, the steady as you go, open, solid, and then keep your pace up. I do like to do things with grace and ease. So that creates a mindset that I have to take on. Because if things are getting too much anxiety, I think there's always limitless possibilities. So I say what does it need to look like for me to do this with grace? 33:00 - I had a very successful life in corporate America. But one day I was at this really nice hotel, looking outside the window, and I was like, this can't be what life is all about. This can't be my forever after. I thought that the more bonuses, the more salary I get, was the more freedom I get.41:50 - It is such a process. It's a mindset. It's a behavior that follows it, it's a commitment and dedication to creating those better habits. So it's all a process, it's all about that muscle, and giving yourself the grace to know that like, when I go to the gym, my first day, I'm not lifting 50 pounds. I'm not doing that, I can lift it, and I'm not going to go to the gym again.50:50 - Final Words Shown Below…Our Final Words of the Show: I think the legacy that I'd like to leave behind is that first of all, everyone that's listening, you are so freakin important and you are a valuable person. Whether you have kids or not, you are influential, people are always watching all of us. Part of living rich is embracing all of who you are, the good, the bad, the quirky, your education, your experiences, and really being able to accept yourself and be unapologetic about the gift that you are to this world. From there, you can create so many things. But I feel like sometimes you need to stop and say you know what, I am awesome. Create an awesomeness list for yourself. Create a list for yourself, that speaks on like, if you're a mom or your dad or your you graduated or, or you were a good friend of somebody, make a list of the things that you're proud of, that you've been able to do, no matter how big or small. When you're faced with something challenging, go back to that list. Because it will remind you that, look, you are really great

Before joining Quest Analytics, Ari was co-founder and CEO of BetterDoctor, a doctor search engine. When not working or co-parenting his two young children with his wife, Ari spends his time on the steep cliffs, powdery slopes, and big cold waves that only Northern California can offer. Today's Guest & Resource Links: https://www.elo.health/https://www.linkedin.com/in/aritulla/ Timestamped Show Notes: 00:30 - Introduction11:15 - It's also powerful in a way that, I became a believer of the idea of food as medicine. I always remind myself that I wake up, the kids are here, because food was medicine. We would not have done that. We would not have, they would not be here. So, I mean, it's pretty powerful for them. They don't know the story yet.20:00 - Some of them actually are facts that you need to listen, it just took time to find the right people to start implementing the implementers, whether it be engineers, or just people who just decided to execute on the on the game plan and figure it out. All of a sudden we apply these discoveries that weren't fully applied, they were implemented before.32:45 - That's the point about this idea that we are looking at, you know, 12-13 biomarkers today on blood. Normally we think about blood biomarkers, we can think about, maybe sweat, but you can also think about digital biomarkers, like sleep and weight data, and your HRV and your activity, your heart rate, and many other things. So, one thing that we are trying to do a lot every day, is to really focus on understanding. How do we master nutrition? How do we build these things that are going to help you make that behavior change stick? 41:30 - So it's so interesting, it's why we alone, we talk about the nutrition problem, and we work today in a world of supplements and powders and stuff like that. It doesn't mean we are going to stop there, we're going to go into into food fairly quickly. But while we did start with the supplements, for example, I think it's mind boggling and many people don't know the fact that 20 million people in this country are taking supplements every day.57:30 - In the bag, what we are sending to people and is handed back to that person, is blended specifically for that person. We have worked with really, really good people on the backend to make it scalable. This is something that has never really been done before. So every product we do, we try to be able to customize the protein, literally every protein bag we put out is gonna be different for that customer.01:03:45 - Final Words Shown Below… Our Final Words of the Show: I think for me, the really the big thing is that the smart nutrition is something that you know, I believe it can become a real thing. Like a smartphone. What if we, now in the next decade, we invent this concept and take it further not us, but you know, hundreds of people, 1000 people, you know, hundreds of companies are gonna I hope adopt this idea. What if we, what if this becomes like a smartphone? What if half the people adopt smart interest and products that come from this world?...

So what we were doing is we were releasing shows in a number of different areas. JavaScript is something that I think a lot of people have heard about if you've been on the web. We had shows on Ruby, React is JavaScript for the web. So we have shows about all kinds of stuff like that. I'm looking, at this point, pulling together a couple of shows and putting out products now and that's where the rebrand came in. So some of the new shows are going to be on game development and then the products are going to center around Front-End Web Development, game development, machine learning, security, stuff like that. Those, those are the the areas where, like it or not, I mean, that's where things are growing. So effectively, the rebrand came into play when I went through a period in 2019, where the not so nice people on Twitter decided they wanted my business to crash and burn.10:00 - Ultimately that was the other thing, a lot of the questions I get are, how do I advance? How do I move out? How do I move ahead? My answer is mostly you got to do stuff that people aren't doing. So that's consistent learning, consistent practice, consistent growth, meeting other people. It is building your network beyond your local community, making contributions to the community, putting content out there, if you're doing those kinds of things, that's where the growth is. So that's where my focus has been now is, I'm gonna give you content to level up your technical skills. That's kind of obvious to most people in the development space, and to people who think about the development space for about half a minute. 20:00 - Initially, I hired my executive assistant or virtual assistant, she's in Philippines, by the way, which is a great source for that. I would just hand her tasks that needed to be done. She at this point succeeded, so we've hired somebody else to help her. If there's something she can't figure out how to do, or she knows that I already know how to do, then I'll record a video and I'll send it over. But probably half of the stuff she does, at this point is stuff that she has determined will get us toward our goals. So she just takes the lead on a lot of that. At this point, what we're doing now is we're getting clear on our strategic plan. We are documenting, so now she's building checklists, this is how we do this.25:50 - The other piece of this is, is that I'm intending to do that,...
Dr. Vickers Joins To Discuss Cancer, Metabolism, Immune System Health, and the Gerson Therapy: A 1997 graduate of New York Chiropractic College, representing the face of the Gerson Therapy Worldwide, Dr. Patrick Vickers is featured in the epic documentary series, The Truth About Cancer: A Global Quest. Dr. Vickers' patient is also chronicled in the classic documentary, The Beautiful Truth.Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Dr. Albert Schweitzer, called Dr. Max Gerson, "The most eminent genius in medical history" as The Gerson Therapy has the most storied reputation, to date, for its ability to reverse advanced cancer and degenerative diseases. With seven movies chronicling Dr. Gerson's work, no other therapy has received such recognition on an international scale. Unfortunately, the Gerson Therapy remains the most censored therapy by governments, medical authorities and media outlets around the world as it poses an imminent threat to the conventional medical system.Personally trained by Dr. Gerson's family and one of the few people to have studied Dr. Gerson's handwritten files, Dr. Patrick Vickers continues to carry on Dr. Gerson's legacy through his premier, Advanced Gerson Clinic in Rosarito, Mexico as well as lecturing and interviewing on various platforms around the world on the indisputable, cellular science behind health, disease and the Gerson Therapy. We have single handedly destroyed our own bodies through diet, through what we're putting on our bodies and in our bodies. What we eat, whatever we're drinking, etc. I've been doing this 25 years and the average age coming into our clinic is 50 to 55. That is when disease typically sets in. Because the human body can only handle the onslaught of everything we do to it for decade after decade after decade, or right until we hit the fifth decade. 17:30 - We must begin to restore the human digestive tract. That's the first aspect of metabolism. So that's how you do it, you have to start by healing the gut. That's where the Gerson Therapy has reigned supreme. That's why eight movies chronicled our work. That picture you showed of Albert Schweitzer Nobel Peace Prize winner called Gerson the greatest genius in medical history, you know, so this is where it starts is by starting to restore metabolism. 23:20 - I'd like to address your question on what do we do about healthy fats. I mentioned how we heal the first aspect of human metabolism, how we restore metabolism, it starts in the gut 70% of your immune system. There's three aspects of metabolism, we have to restore to be able to cure patients. The next step is restoring the proper fats at the level of a cell membrane. So now you've healed the gut, you're properly able to break down and absorb nutrients into the bloodstream again. Now you have to get those nutrients and sugars into the cell and you need to get oxygen into the cell to...

I was excited to be in LA, the palm trees, that healthy living lifestyle, all that California has to offer. But when you're 21 years old and you're 3000 miles from home, you're not a fit guy. You have very little professional skills to offer the world. Honestly, that plastic capital, the world is really a better place vibe.19:35 - That's human nature to its core. I would say back in the day of 2012, when our brand came to existence, I guess my official franchise, it was the wild wild west. So there was structure there, but not nearly the amount of support and paint by numbers playbook and SOP's and whatnot that we have today. So I wouldn't say it was a different timeframe, to your point I found the playbook. Although I did make some edits and tweaks along the way.30:20 - With that support system, technically, then you're even more successful. Right? And if you're coming in as if you didn't have the system, your mindsets there, you are ready to put in the long hours, the intensity, build your team, build the business, build the brand, build your clientele, and you have a system. Oh, my God, the world could be your oyster, so to speak. It's rocket fuel!43:00 - We're extremely challenging here in 2023. I mean, we've had our best year in years for 2022, we've just awarded it will be 50 franchise locations this year, our franchise, the brand, the energy is off the charts, our franchise partner locations are the most successful they've ever been. So to your point, sometimes you got to go through the mess, and sometimes you got to go through hell to get to heaven. 50:00 - Final Words Shown Below… Our Final Words of the Show: I think for me the legacy that I want to leave and when people look at me and you know, talk about me and the impact with my connection with them, is I want them to leave with the thought of this guy may be better. But where I'm at right now, from a fitness perspective, from a leadership perspective, a business coach, consultant perspective, really what...
