I am excited to share powerful insights from the latest episode of Capitalist Culture. This time, I sat down with Seth, founder of Precision Biologics and Regenerative Revival, to explore the rapidly expanding world of regenerative medicine, entrepreneurship, and leadership. His perspective on innovation, compliance, patient outcomes, and business execution is both practical and forward-looking.Here are a few highlights from our conversation.Key Lessons and Ideas:• Regenerative Medicine as a Non-Invasive AlternativeSeth explained how regenerative medicine addresses chronic and acute pain without surgery. Rather than masking pain, these therapies signal the body to heal itself, particularly in soft tissue injuries and degenerative conditions.• Stem Cell Therapy in the United StatesThere is a common misconception that patients must travel overseas for stem cell treatments. Seth clarified that umbilical cord-derived products in the United States are ethically sourced from birthing tissue and processed under strict tissue-bank and FDA guidelines. High-quality care is available domestically.• Umbilical Cord vs Autologous Stem CellsSeth described why younger umbilical cord stem cells can be more effective than using a patient's own tissue. At the same time, he emphasized compliance and responsible education, since these therapies are not FDA-approved and must be clearly communicated as experimental.• Education as the Growth EngineA major barrier in regenerative medicine is awareness. Seth uses seminars, in-home services, and hands-on clinic support to educate patients and physicians. Precision Biologics provides not only products, but training, operational systems, and marketing strategy to help clinics succeed.• Business Discipline in MedicineMany physicians struggle not with medicine, but with business. Seth highlighted the importance of marketing, sales conversations around cash pay procedures, and compliant systems that protect patient trust while enabling scale.Industry Curiosities and Forward-Looking Themes:• Capital Flow into Regenerative MedicineThere is significant investor interest flowing into research and startups across stem cells, exosomes, peptides, and hormone replacement therapy. Seth believes we are early in a major growth cycle.• Business in a Box ModelHis upcoming venture focuses on patient access and outcomes through a scalable, systems-driven approach. The emphasis is on clear goals, measurable improvement, and consistent patient feedback.• Expansion into Telehealth and Hormone OptimizationSeth is launching a telehealth platform and expanding into peptide and hormone replacement therapy, with a focus on improving healthspan, not just lifespan.Leadership and Personal Reflections:• From Door to Door Sales to Industry BuilderSeth began selling meat door to door at 19. That early exposure to rejection and persuasion shaped his entrepreneurial edge. He believes sales is the foundation of solving higher ticket problems.• Mentorship MattersLooking back, Seth wishes he had sought mentors earlier. Today he invests heavily in mentoring younger professionals so they can avoid common mistakes and compress their learning curve.• Fulfillment Over MoneyHe shared a shift from chasing income to pursuing impact, especially as a father. Success for him now is measured by patient outcomes, provider growth, and the liveSend a textConnect with Kip on LinkedInhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/kipknippel/Watch Bite-Sized Clips on YouTubehttps://www.youtube.com/@capitalistculture/shorts

This five-issue mini-series adapts H.P. Lovecraft's classic story into a modern comics thriller, with art by longtime collaborator Willi Roberts and letters by Rob Jones. The series follows Daniel Upton and his lifelong friend Edward Derby—right up to the moment Daniel shoots Edward dead in Arkham Sanitarium, a crime he insists he didn't commit. Across the mini-series, Simon and Willi trace the beginnings of that friendship, Edward's slow slide into madness, and the strange forces that twist their lives into something both intimate and deeply unsettling. We talk about adapting Lovecraft for a new audience, working with Top Cow/Image, and how this book builds on Simon's previous Lovecraftian work like The Shadow Over Innsmouth—plus his ongoing adventures as co-founder of Blue Fox Comics, which has now delivered more than 80 crowdfunding campaigns from their base in Scotland. Issue #1 hits shops February 11, 2026, with the full story collected in trade paperback later that summer. The Title sequence was designed and created by Morgan Quaid. After a week of dealing with a thick coating of ice all over everything, I've got winter weather on the brain. So today, we have three old time radio mysteries where our sleuths have to solve their crimes in the snow. First, Bob Bailey hits the slopes to prevent a murder in "Snow Blind" from Let George Do It (originally aired on Mutual on December 26, 1949). Then, William Gargan suspects a fatal slip on the ice wasn't an accident in "The Girl on the Doorstep" from Barrie Craig, Confidential Investigator (originally aired on NBC on February 16, 1953). Finally, John Lund is "the man with the action-packed expense account" in a snowbound mystery in the Windy City - "The Classified Killer Matter" from Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar (AFRS rebroadcast from February 23, 1954).

Cyn is the author of Death's Doorstep: Near-Death Experiences, Angel Rescues, & Spirit Warnings, a collection of firsthand accounts from people who stood at the threshold of death and felt something watching, intervening, and in some cases, turning them back. These are not polished stories of comfort or light — they are fractured moments where time bends, reality thins, and unseen forces make themselves known. As a longtime investigator with Elk Valley Paranormal, Cyn has spent years documenting hauntings, encounters, and phenomena that refuse to stay neatly categorized. What makes her work unsettling is not just what people experience — but the consistency of how they experience it. The warnings. The presences without faces. The overwhelming sense that death is not random… and not entirely ours to choose. In Death's Doorstep, Cyn explores angel rescues that feel less like miracles and more like interruptions, spirit warnings that arrive with urgency rather than comfort, and near-death experiences that leave survivors forever altered — more intuitive, more isolated, and sometimes afraid of what they now know. Tonight, we're not asking whether the afterlife exists. We're asking who controls the boundary… who decides when it opens… and what it means when someone comes back with the feeling they were never meant to stay. Welcome to the 222 Paranormal Podcast, your gateway to the captivating world of the supernatural. You haven't heard from your adult child lately, but they weren't doing well the last time you did hear from them. Or maybe you've heard they're okay, but you can't get an answer to a text. You wonder if they've blocked you. You're afraid of becoming more and more estranged. Whatever the circumstances surrounding your adult child's silence (or hostility), it might feel like a face-to-face meeting would be a good option. So you're tempted to show up on their doorstep and ask them to talk. In this important episode, host Tina Gilbertson offers her thoughts on the agonizing question, "Should I or shouldn't I?" She shares a recording of her response to this question from a past Q&A call, and reflects on whether her reply would be different today. Don't make travel plans until you listen. Doorstep delivery services boomed during the Covid-19 pandemic and they're still popular in many parts of the world: ordering hot meals, or groceries, via a mobile app to your door at the click of a button. For the customer, it's a fast and convenient service. For the rider, it's flexible work, but there's no guaranteed income, the work is physical and the hours are often antisocial - especially during major holidays like Christmas and New Year. Why, then, do so many people do it? We speak to riders in the US and UK about their experiences delivering food, drinks and other essentials to customers at all hours of the day.If you'd like to get in touch with the programme, you can send us an email to businessdaily@bbc.co.ukPresenter: David Harper Producer: Victoria Hastings(Picture: A delivery rider on a scooter, travelling through a city at night. In this reflective end-of-year podcast episode, Matt looks back on 2025 and encourages listeners to “leave it on the doorstep” as they move into the new year—letting go of guilt, unmet goals, and perceived failures while keeping the lessons learned. Using a mix of personal stories, mindset coaching, and health-focused motivation, the episode emphasizes that perfection isn't required for progress. The host highlights how common negative self-talk (“I can't,” “I won't,” “I don't,” “I didn't”) keeps people stuck, and explains how reframing those thoughts into “what if,” “I will,” “I want,” and “I did” can unlock real change. Rather than rigid New Year's resolutions, the focus is on optimism, belief, and small, intentional habits—especially around health, nutrition, and self-care. The episode closes with an invitation to start 2026 with possibility, presence, and a healthier mindset, reminding listeners that lasting change begins in the mind.
What really happens when a nurse walks through a patient's front door instead of a hospital doorway? In this episode of Home Health Revealed, host Hannah Vale heads into the field with home health nurses in snowy Northeast Ohio and then sits down with leaders from Lorain County Community College and the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice to unpack what she witnessed firsthand. You'll hear from: Christopher Hirschler, Dean of the Health and Wellness Science Division at Lorain County Community College Lisa Von Lemden, Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice Hannah DiVencenzo, Program Developer at Lorain County Community College Cynthia Kushner, Director of School, Workforce and Community partnerships Abigail Farabaugh, Career and Academic Advisement Professional Together, they share powerful stories from recent ride‑alongs: organizing overflowing baskets of medications, navigating homes transformed into care spaces, and supporting families through heartbreaking seasons with remarkable resilience. You'll also hear about those “oh no” moments—like expired blood tubes in the trunk—and how strong team backup turns solo visits into a true network of care. Listen in to learn: Why being invited into a patient's home is “sacred” work and how it reveals social determinants of health in real time, from housing quality to family support to mental health. How home health nurses flex between roles—clinician, educator, advocate, problem‑solver, even “therapist”—often in the same visit. What schedule flexibility, point‑based pay models, and documentation from home actually look like in a real nurse's day (including coffee breaks between visits). How AI and technology are changing preparation for visits, decision‑making, and mentorship for newer nurses entering home health. Why home care can be a smart career move for nurses who want autonomy, meaningful one‑on‑one time with patients, and strong earning potential—without punching a time clock. The episode also highlights new workforce and education partnerships, including a $2 million Department of Higher Education investment into the Center for Community Based Care to grow and support the next generation of home health and hospice clinicians across Ohio. Lorain County Community College shares how it is exposing students to home health early—through ride‑alongs, pathways content, and mentorship—so they can discover if this deeply relational kind of nursing is the right fit. If you're: A nursing student wondering what's beyond the ICU or med‑surg, A nurse craving more control over your time and deeper patient relationships, or An educator or leader trying to build stronger home health pathways… …this episode will challenge your assumptions about what nursing “has” to look like and show you what's possible when care comes to the couch instead of the bedside. As the presence of US troops and defence personnel grows in Australia, are we preparing for an imminent conflict on our doorstep? In this episode of The Briefing, Natarsha Belling is joined by Defence and Security expert Jennifer Parker to unpack this week’s developments at AUSMIN and why Australia needs to prepare for greater uncertainty in the Indo-Pacific. Frog costumes. The Star Wars theme. Whistlemania. These could be the sights and sounds of Halloween—but this year, they've taken on new meaning. As federal agents and military troops arrive in their cities across the country, communities have used pop culture references, humor, and irreverence as an act of resilience. They've also banded together to form school escorts and other protective measures for their neighbors. This week, we're exploring how residents of three cities have met this moment. We have three ACLU experts joining us. First up, we have Chandra S. Bhatnagar and Ed Yohnka of the ACLU of Southern California and Illinois. And around the 46-minute mark, Monica Hopkins of the ACLU of DC joins Kamau to discuss deployments in the nation's capital. Want to get involved? Two Mormon missionaries knock on the wrong door in A24's psychological thriller Heretic, starring Hugh Grant as a man who traps them in his home for a deadly debate about religion. This episode digs into the film's exploration of faith, proselytizing, and the fine line between genuine discussion and manipulation. We examine how the movie humanizes its missionary protagonists while challenging both religious certainty and militant atheism. Hugh Grant's character mirrors the psychological control tactics religions have historically employed, creating a disturbing reflection that questions whether any side of the faith debate has clean hands.Questions We Discuss:Does the horror genre enhance or distract from the film's religious debate? Are the Mormon missionaries or Hugh Grant's character the real "sea lions" in this conversation? How does the film challenge both rigid faith and aggressive atheism? What does the ambiguous ending say about belief and proof? Can you maintain faith while acknowledging contradictions in your religion? Why does the film intentionally leave the supernatural elements unresolved?**************************************************************************This episode is a production of Superhero Ethics, a The Ethical Panda Podcast and part of the TruStory FM Entertainment Podcast Network. Steve Bannon joins me on today's show to discuss everything happening on the world stage. As Scott Bessent's list of Fed Chair candidates dwindles away, he is only prolonging the inevitable, him being dual hatted as Fed Chair and Secretary of Treasury. China's recent stronghold of rare earth minerals has created more tension as Bessent rebuked the top Chinese trade negotiator calling him "very disrespectful." Bannon wants people to wake up as the economic war China is waging on the U.S. is the precursor to kinetic war between the two superpowers. At the sametime, President Zelensky is seeking U.S. tomahawk missiles to infiltrate Russia's mainland and end the assault on Ukraine. President Putin has already stated that this is the same as U.S. involvement in the ongoing conflict and he is ready to send two million more troops. Bannon says the rising tensions between these two countries have reached the most dangerous point in history. As the deepstate bides its time with President Trump's presidency, heavy prosecution must come down or else they will reclaim power as soon as he leaves office. The FBI is shutting down conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk's assassination but Bannon does not believe the official narrative at all. While having trust and faith in Kash Patel as FBI Director, he must bring the receipts that make the story and the timeline make sense. In this episode, Jay recounts a chilling childhood encounter in rural Virginia, where a massive, dog-like creature emerged from the woods, rose onto two legs, and vanished into his family's property. What followed was a terrifying night of unnatural growls and screams that left his family scrambling for safety and questioning reality. Now, decades later, Jay revisits the memory he once buried, tying it to other strange phenomena and the charged history of the land, convinced that what he saw was no ordinary animal. His story blurs the line between trauma, folklore, and the possibility of something far older stalking the woods. Please pray for Tony's wife, Lindsay, as she battles breast cancer.
