When Luke White's favorite mobile dog groomer moved away, he faced a common pet owner dilemma: how to get quality grooming without the hassle of traditional salons. His solution? Create a premium mobile grooming service that comes directly to your driveway in a striking British-themed bus complete with royal corgis in the windows. In this engaging conversation with the B-Team, Luke reveals how frustration with traditional grooming services for his golden doodle sparked an entrepreneurial journey. After watching his sister deliver an exceptional groom that impressed even his highly critical wife, the light bulb went off. Drawing on his sister's 15 years of grooming experience, Luke created Posh Pups NWA – a mobile service prioritizing quality, not just mere convenience.Despite being just five weeks into operation, the distinctive double-decker bus is already generating impressive demand throughout Northwest Arkansas. The self-contained grooming salon features 75-gallon water tanks and battery-powered systems that eliminate the need for home hookups, creating a seamless experience where pet owners simply schedule an appointment and their freshly groomed dog returns to the door 90 minutes later. The discussion covers everything from pricing structures (based on dog weight) to the company's three-tiered service model offering baths, trims, and full grooms. Luke explains why certain breeds like doodles require more maintenance, the practicalities of mobile grooming logistics, and his strategic partnerships with local pet businesses. Most compelling is his vision for expansion – what began as a single-bus operation could potentially grow into multiple vehicles and locations.Whether you're tired of wrestling your reluctant pup into the car for grooming appointments or simply appreciate innovative local businesses, this episode offers a fascinating look at how identifying customer pain points can lead to entrepreneurial success. Listen now to discover why Northwest Arkansas pet owners are lining up for the Posh Pups NWA experience – and how you can save 20% on your first appointment by mentioning the B-Team Podcast.

Purity culture wasn't just a set of rules—it was a full-blown system of fear, shame, and control that dictated everything from dating to what we wore to whether or not we could even think about smashing without disappointing God. In this episode, I take a deep dive into how purity culture shaped my childhood, warped my understanding of relationships, and made me legitimately believe I was going to hell for shucking the corn at 13. From forced confession sessions to the bizarre ways we were taught to see each other as “brothers and sisters in Christ,” this episode unpacks the weird, uncomfortable, and straight-up damaging ways the church tried to keep us "pure." But this isn't just about the past—purity culture's grip doesn't just disappear overnight. Even today, I catch myself fighting against the messages drilled into me as a kid, and I know I'm not the only one. Whether you grew up in this world or you're just here for the wild ride, this episode breaks down how purity culture ultimately benefits men, how it oversexualizes women, and how we can start to unlearn the shame we were never meant to carry. Buckle up—this one's a doozy. Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Clemenz With a Z. Your support means everything to me and helps keep these conversations going. Purity culture left so many of us with shame, guilt, and confusion—but talking about it? That's how we take our power back. If you were a part of the ICOC, ICC, or any high-control religious group and purity culture shaped your experience in ways you're still unpacking, I'd love to hear from you. You're not alone in this, and together, we can continue exploring the question, ‘We were in a cult?'—and maybe even start to heal from it. You can reach me via email at clemenzwithaz@gmail.com, or send me a DM on Instagram at the Clemenz With a Z podcast page. Compelling communication about risks and necessary actions is of special interest throughout the Ten Across geography. As we continue to follow the course of recent wildfires in the Los Angeles area, we took a closer look at journalism on the ground-- reporters doing their best to convey urgent information at multiple and sometimes personal scales. On the heels the hottest 12 months in recorded history, parts of the Los Angeles metro burned during most of January. Ten months of abnormally dry conditions in the city were preceded by two very wet winters. Scientists refer to this increasingly common phenomenon as hydroclimate volatility or whiplash. It has been shown to be aggravated by climate change, and in Southern California, it creates the essential ingredients for large-scale wildfire. As inaugural director of the Annenberg Center for Climate Journalism and Communication at the University of Southern California, Allison Agsten's job is to study how the news media and other communication professionals are informing audiences of climate change risks and impacts. In 2023, we invited her to share this important work and to lead our Climate Communications workshop at our Ten Across Summit in Los Angeles. Allison is, unfortunately, also a recent survivor of the Palisades Fire conflagration. As her neighborhood burned and the media converged around her home last month, she conducted some research in real time by asking them whether their reports would cover the ways climate change influenced the disaster. In this episode, we'll hear what they had to say and what Allison believes this means for the future of climate journalism in the U.S. Related articles and resources: “What I Learned from LA Reporters Covering the Fires” (Allison Agsten, USC Annenberg Center for Climate Journalism and Communication blog) “The media needs to show how the climate crisis is fueling the LA wildfires” (The Guardian Opinion, January 16, 2025)“US Speaker suggests withholding disaster aid over California immigration policies” (9 News, January 23, 2025) “How partisan news outlets frame vested interests in climate change” (Journal of Environmental Management, February 2025) “Consuming cross-cutting media causes learning and moderates attitudes: A field experiment with Fox News viewers” (Center for Open Science, 2023) “What We Can Learn from the LA Fires with Char Miller” (Ten Across Conversations podcast, January 30, 2025) “Urban Expert Bill Fulton's Perspective of How LA Can Rebuild Following the Fires” (Ten Across Conversations podcast, January 15, 2025) “NOAA Meteorologists Reflect on This Year's Historic Atlantic Hurricane Season” (Ten Across Conversations podcast, November 22, 2024)

If you've been following the news over the last year, you've likely heard about the rise of the Christian nationalism movement. Today on The Sunday Story, Ayesha Rascoe sits down with journalist Heath Druzin, creator of the Extremely American podcast series, to take a closer look at one group of Christian nationalists. Druzin interviewed leaders of an influential far-right church in the small town of Moscow, Idaho: Christ Church.
