https://www.jenniferboileau.com From Jenn's website: Hi, I'm Jenn- a trauma centered yoga and meditation teacher, reiki master, and a sound healing facilitator. What that means is: I'm deeply committed to helping you find focus, resilience and balance in your life, especially if you're in a high stress profession. I help vets, active duty military & first responders find ease and develop deep resilience within themselves through the trauma focused, specialized practices I'm certified in. All of these practices are non-pharmaceutical solutions, to a deep need for ease in the body. As a former special education teacher, and certified Warriors At Ease, iRest Meditation & Accessible Yoga teacher, I believe that yoga is an inclusive experience for anyone and everyone, regardless of age, challenge or dis/ability. I'm a wife to a retired SWAT S/SGT (20+years of service) and I understand the challenges & stress that come along with being married to someone who selflessly serves the community. I know the culture, the toll it takes on the entire family, and I know methods to help resolve those after effects. Everyone experiences sensation differently in their bodies. I work with all my students to meet them exactly where they are, guide them through meditation, and explore those sensations on a physical, mental and emotional level for healing. And if you feel like you "can't meditate"? Then we definitely need a session!

For the full interview: ⭐ https://nightclub.andrewholecek.com/interviews/richard-miller/ Join Andrew Holecek in this far-reaching conversation with Richard Miller, as they talk about iRest, Yoga Nidra, lucid dreaming, sleep yoga, and the deep connection between lucid body and lucid mind. Richard is known for his “translational research,” which is all about bringing science and spiritual teachings into daily life. Dr. Miller shares his remarkable experience introducing meditation to the military, and helping veterans manage the damaging effects of combat. They also discuss a host of near enemies that surround spiritual practice, and the importance of the “market test” – how to sustain lucidity in all states, day or night. Richard then turns to the koshas, or “sheaths” of identity, and how problems arise because we have a wild case of mistaken identity. The conversation shifts to the role of effort on the path, and the magic of grace and love on the journey to awakening. The entire conversation circles around the real meaning of “nonduality,” and how this esoteric doctrine has vast exoteric applications. Joining psychology, neuroscience, and spirituality, this conversation covers vast terrain, all in the service of helping others and this world. -- Richard C. It was November 1970 when Richard Miller quietly stepped outside of the first yoga class he’d ever attended and looked up into the clear California night sky. Something was different. What was it? He was relaxed, at peace, and he felt connected to everything throughout the entire universe. He had just experienced a taste of something that would become his […] The post OM 011: Healing Wounded Warriors Through iRest Meditation with Dr. Richard Miller appeared first on About Meditation.
