In this episode, Loch introduces the map and practices of non-dual presence. A lot of us have heard about non-duality before. But how many of us have a truly embodied experience of this profound and transformative dimension of our own consciousness? Nondual Presence MapIn Loch's model of The Five Levels of Mind, he refers to non-dual presence as the Fourth Level of Mind — Unity Mind. Throughout the episode, Loch leads you through an experiential inquiry into the nature of both bliss and emptiness and how non-dual presence represents the life-changing union of these two. We all like peak experiences of bliss. But what if the natural experience of our body on a fundamental level was a subtle pervasive Bliss. In this episode, you'll get answers to fundamental questions like: What does non-dual presence feel like? How can you begin to embody this for yourself? How is it different from Subtle Energy, Pure Awareness, and the Mindful Witness? And most importantly, how can you access non-dual presence in your own life to foster a new baseline of unconditional love and Self Leadership.Glimpse & Nondual MeditationThe episode features Loch offering a guided practice and nondual meditation called “Awake-Awareness Energy Embodied.” These mindful glimpses serve as invaluable tools for experiencing ways to access the awake consciousness that is already here within all of us.You can now explore all of Loch Kelly's practices and teachings on the new Mindful Glimpses app, found at https://lochkelly.org/mindful-glimpses. Consciousness is the fundamental essence of your being, distinct from the physical and psychological objects it is conscious of. But your conscious awareness gets so distracted by external objects, thoughts, and emotions, that it becomes identified with them. This identification forms the ego, the false sense of “I.” The spiritual path involves letting go of distractions and false identifications in order to remain in the true “seat of self,” a state of pure awareness and joy. The ultimate realization is reconnecting with the source of consciousness, leading to unity with the divine and a life of peace and ecstasy. 26th Oct 2024 In this Satsang, Sanjay discussed the concept of the universal self and the importance of surrendering individual selves to it, emphasizing the need to move from personal involvement to an impersonal, uninvolved state. He also explored the idea of pure awareness, its relation to the mind and body, and the concept of the "small eye" that enslaves the mind. Lastly, he highlighted the impermanence of the physical body, the futility of seeking happiness through it, and the potential of identifying with awareness to solve all problems eternally. These are teachings and pointers from ongoing NDA(Non-duality awareness)/Advaitic Satsangs held at Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Arunachala Ramanaya !

Pure Awareness (የጠራ ግንዛቤ)
Sink into the Liberation Through 5 Layers of Awareness Meditation with author and Subtle Energy Meditation teacher Kevin Schoeninger. All of us long to be free from the stress and struggles of being a self in this world. What if the secret is in freeing your mind from layers of self-identification and discovering what lies beyond this world of different forms? In Subtle Energy Meditation, we view consciousness like an onion, with layers of awareness. Each layer represents a frequency band of Reality, a layer of awareness you can tune into. We begin with coarse outer layers and peel these away one by one to realize more subtle inner layers—until the Clear Light of Pure Awareness shines forth. In this meditation, we take this journey of liberation together through five layers of awareness. This rich satsang invites us into the ‘Commitment to Self-Discovery' guidance—a profound sitting exercise from Moojibaba to ‘Just Be'. By putting our attention on Beingness, we are led from the forest of delusion to the sky of Pure Awareness. "Any sensation can come. The sky, limitless, infinite, unending, welcomes all visitors. Moon, sun, clouds, rainbows. It doesn't complain, it manifests them. Yet nothing sticks. Everything is a tourist floating by, like all things born of time. This is why the sages say, 'You are the sky of Pure Awareness.' Monte Sahaja, Portugal 15 November 2023
Awakened awareness is not about special experiences – it is about recognising the simplest form of conscious experience that is available to everyone. Joko called it “Simple Mind”, Shunryu Suzuki called it “Beginners Mind” or we could simply call it awareness of awareness or “Pure Awareness”. We could say that the purpose of meditation, both silent and guided, is the process of dis-identifying from the suffering that is generated by identifying as a personal separate self with the flow of impermanent, interdependent phenomena and recognising and returning to our home base of Simple Mind. Someone asked me over the weekend what my main mantra is, and what their mantra should be. This is my answer. ❤️ Note: the most powerful mantra is the one you chant and keep chanting. The one that helps you keep recognizing the unbroken mantra of Silent-Love that's always, already here. Feel It, feel It, feel It, or hear It, hear It, hear It... hold on to the path you're on because it is your destiny and is leading you to your destiny. You've made it (!!!!), and you'll make it. In this meditation on pure awareness, Bentinho guides us to see how we can shift our attention from being lost in worldly distractions to a state of pure awareness. He explains that there are two primary ways to use our attention: one is to be absorbed in whatever perceptions, sensations, or thoughts arise, which often leads to mental descriptions and conceptualizations; the other is to be aware of the fact that we are aware, recognizing the essence of being.Bentinho explains that by pausing for a few seconds and interrupting the absorption of the mind in external objects, we can bring our attention back to its essence. Through repeated practice of self-recognition, you can begin to see the world as a projection of the imagination and dissolve the belief in an external reality separate from awareness. Ultimately, a sense of non-duality and unity is realized, where all things are recognized as the one being.Meeting God and the truth halfway requires momentarily stopping the dreaming and being fully awake to the extended hand of the Creator, who is always there for those who have forgotten their own divine nature._________Follow Bentinho on Social Media:InstagramFacebookYouTubeTwitterTikTok_________Subscribe to the Bentinho Massaro newsletter: bit.ly/3rhVNhs
In a Zoom meeting with the Ramana Maharshi Foundation UK on 14th October 2023, Michael answers various questions about Bhagavan's teachings. He started with: Question #1: In deep sleep only awareness remains. You said awareness knows awareness only. My question is why I don't know myself in deep sleep? Kindly Reply. Question #2: What is pure awareness? If it is aware of anything, it is impure. So, if awareness is aware even of itself, being aware, that is already impure, since awareness has an object (itself). So, pure awareness is awareness of... what? And, anyway, as soon as you notice it, it would not be pure awareness any longer, since now there is a duality: awareness (apparently of nothing) and the awareness of awareness. My point then is, what good is pure awareness, since it is aware of nothing, and cannot even know itself without disturbing its pure awareness? If you are it, you cannot know it, and if you know it, you no longer are it. I do not see a way out of this. Has anyone ever recognized pure awareness? If so, they are separate from it. But, it also cannot be aware of itself, or for that matter anything at all. And this is supposed to be the highest knowledge no less? Knowledge of what, exactly? Question #3: Philosophy, Sartre in particular, would deny that there is anything such as intransitive awareness. Awareness must be of something, or what is it awareness of? As soon as you are aware of even just being aware, now awareness is the object, and you are observing awareness. I do not think we are aware of our sleep. I think we infer it. We can recall our dreams, and we might say we did not dream all night, so there must have been a period of sleep, but that does not mean we were aware of our awareness. Also, the fact that we are not aware of the world while asleep is particularly unconvincing when it is argued that therefore the objective world arises when our ego arises. That is far too solipsistic for my tastes. We blink and the sun disappears, for us. No one believes the sun disappears; similarly, we sleep and the world does not disappear. Where is the evidence one can see pure awareness, or failing that, that awareness of nothing exists. And so what if we can have pure awareness of nothing at all; what does that prove, exactly? This episode can also be watched as a video here and a more compressed audio copy in Opus format (which can be listened to in the VLC media player and some other apps) can be downloaded from here.
In this episode, Ashish and Anil delve into a mind-altering chat with Professor Srikumar Rao, Head of The Rao Institute. Prof. Srikumar Rao is a speaker, former business school professor and head of the Rao Institute based out of New York. He's an executive coach to senior business executives who he helps find deeper meaning and engagement in their work. Graduates of his workshops and leaders he has helped around the globe have transformed their lives so that they can experience abundant joy, no matter what comes their way. He's a Ted speaker, author, and creator of the pioneering course, Creativity and Personal Mastery (CPM). In life, there will always be challenges that will come our way. And most people overcome those battles to be happy. But it's time we flip the script. After all, happiness can be the means to pursue any end, instead of something we pursue. One of the best ways to do this, is to live in pure awareness. Throughout this episode, Professor Rao, Ashish, and Anil, delve into the concept of 'pure awareness' - a steady, unchanging self beneath the roles we play. We at Happiness Squad echo this concept of the constant self we have that can navigate life's journey with intrinsic happiness as the compass, not the destination.Join us in this mind-altering chat with Professor Rao, as we peel back the layers of 'pure awareness'. In our society, nobody ever really teaches you about your inner world. Everyone is always so focused on the outer world, business goals, awards, money, and material success that we often overlook the importance of understanding our inner selves. In this episode, Hallie and I explore how to begin to cultivate awareness, and gradually move towards pure awareness. And, yes, we talk about what pure awareness is too! We also cover why it's important to be more aware of your emotions than to control them, the three levels of awareness and consciousness, and how surrendering may lead to less motivation - for a time. Remember, pure awareness is an infinite game, so start small and stay in the present moment. See full show notes.

Pay attention to this episode... It was a breakthrough for me and can be for you too. My guest is Swami Nityananda, an American-born spiritual teacher, who earned her Swami title through many years of studying yogic tradition and demonstrating enlightened wisdom. The message in this episode for all of us is that there is an easier way to awaken and experience a life of joy. And that way begins by accepting that we are already part of a universal consciousness - think of it as divine light - that knows us completely and cares about us deeply. It is a living wholeness that includes all sentient beings, and in fact all of existence. Swami defined awakeness as being in contact with the energy of divine awareness. We can choose to expand our light/spiritual self at any time to allow awareness of that living wholeness. When we do, we shift from the illusion of separation to instead directly experience the divine light, its wholeness, its unlimited goodness, and its joyful beingness. At any time, you can accept the world and its problems as they are AND realize that our spirit is greater than any of the world's problems. You can give yourself permission to see yourself as a child (or being) of light, and you can choose to experience human life in a more enlightened and holistic way. She also talked about the shared unity experience of meditating in community. At the end of our conversation, she told us to "Trust in the Light." Swami Nityananda has a new book out that I highly recommend called Awake: The Yoga of Pure Awareness. The book teaches beautiful insights about living in a state of awakeness. Someone asked me over the weekend what my main mantra is, and what their mantra should be. This is my answer. ❤️Note: the most powerful mantra is the one you chant and keep chanting. I Love you, Niknikki@curlynikki.com

— Awake energy is fresh, new, and present within us and within all of existence. When we are in contact with awake energy, we trust the goodness, wisdom, and spontaneity of our knowingness and beingness. We are aware that we interact with all of existence and are supported by a network of steady light and kindness through every experience, the ones we humanly term wonderful, and the ones we humanly term terrible. We also understand that as we thrive in insight and caring, we support all beings in their insight, caring, success, and victory on all levels. If our perceptions have carried fear, obstruction, limitation, or have encouraged us to believe in the illusion of separateness, we heal those perceptions. We live in the fullness of the present moment, in overflowing pure love, wisdom, strength, courage, and confidence. We trust the beneficence of life here and now, in our very bodies, hearts, minds, and lives — and in every moment and every time and place. We are in harmony with our own energy and so interact with the energy of other human beings with nonattachment and understanding, caring and good humor. We do not expect our satisfaction to come from other humans acting in any predetermined way because we are aware that satisfaction is within us always — and then naturally, the beauty and preciousness of all life will shine spontaneously in energy, consciousness, and openness, including through unprecedented kindness and gladness shared with other humans. Valeria interviews Swami Nityananda — She is a spiritual teacher and spiritual leader of Awake Yoga Meditation and author of Awake: The Yoga of Pure Awareness. Swami Nityananda became a student of Swami Shankarananda in 2010. Swami Shankarananda, who founded the Awake Yoga Meditation community, immediately recognized her as his successor. He announced that publicly in 2013 when he consecrated her as spiritual teacher and spiritual leader of the meditation community. In 2014 he consecrated her as a Swami and asked her to carry on his lineage and the teaching of Kriya Yoga. As Juniper Ellis, she is Professor of English at Loyola University, where she teaches American Literature and World Literature Written in English. She earned her PhD at Vanderbilt University. She has held Fulbright grants in New Zealand and Germany, and other national awards including an Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship and an NEH grant. Her book Tattooing the World: Pacific Designs in Print and Skin was published by Columbia University Press. Her scholarly articles have appeared in respected journals in many English-speaking countries. Her teaching helps listeners and readers connect with the reality of love, wisdom, liberation, joy, harmony, and kindness. People who meditate with her find Swami Nityananda practices a selfless way of living in the world that asks, "How may I be of service?" and models through open-hearted, generous, and effervescent guidance, a path for us all to recognize our own inherent divine qualities, and to see the same in everyone. To learn more about Swami Nityananda and her work, please visit: awakeyogameditation.org — This podcast is a quest for well-being, a quest for a meaningful life through the exploration of fundamental truths, enlightening ideas, insights on physical, mental, and spiritual health. The inspiration is Love. The aspiration is to awaken new ways of thinking that can lead us to a new way of being, being well.
This is a guided meditation to help you recognize your own inherent Awareness and learn how to abide by that. Pure Awareness is our true nature. Only by intuitively realizing and understanding the depth and profundity of this impersonal Reality, and resting in it, can we begin the journey to transcend suffering and samsara.

In this episode, The Bearded Mystic Podcast discusses the 5th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, specifically verses 20 - 24. Sri Krishna explains how the person that is established in the knowledge of Brahman becomes the same in quality as Brahman too. They are one and the same - therefore they never get over-excited or overly disappointed. Sri Krishna explains how eternal happiness is found in getting the mind united with Brahman. Arjuna is reminded that material pleasures have a finite existence and therefore, he must always discern so he doesn't get trapped in the cycle of seeking pleasure. Sri Krishna is telling us that we can achieve a steady state of happiness in this life itself and it can be practically done if we look into the causes of our desires and anger. Ecstasy and self-illumination become the way of the Sage. They are full of joy, brimming to the top with happiness. They understand they are one and the same in essence as Brahman, this Pure Awareness. Stan Davis was interviewed by Rev. Karen Worth on August 21, 2022 as part of the Awakening Together Monthly Satsang series. Stan Davis, a former newspaper publisher, serves as the Spiritual and Executive Director of AHAM -the Association of Happiness for All Mankind. He is also an experienced and certified Self-Inquiry (meditation) instructor and trainer with the AHAM, which owns and operates a wooded 40-acre meditation retreat and spiritual training center in Asheboro, NC, and a beautiful center in South India. AHAM shares a unique, yet simple and very effective conscious transformational meditation process of awakening called “Self-Inquiry,” sometimes referred to as Awareness Meditation or the “meditation for anyone…anytime…and anyplace.” He studied and practiced under the personal guidance of AHAM's founder, an Awakened or Self-realized Teacher. During this time, Stan himself has realized Self-Inquiry as the way to directly and instantly connect with and express from Pure Awareness, I AM or the Source of Being, prior to the ego or body-mind. He now shares this process of real and lasting peace, well-being and fulfillment with those who are ready to receive it, which then becomes their own experience. Stan has also given talks and seminars at many Unity and Religious Science churches and other organizations on well over 100 occasions here in the USA and Canada. AHAM, an acronym for the Association of Happiness for All Mankind, is a non-profit spiritual education/meditation training organization. AHAM's purpose is the elimination of upset and suffering by the uplifting of consciousness, and the realization of happiness-now or fulfillment lived now as the natural state of Being. In this episode, The Bearded Mystic Podcast discusses the 3rd chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, specifically verses 30 - 35. Sri Krishna guides Arjuna that dedicate and perform all actions as an offering to Brahman - that Pure Awareness. Have no selfishness at all and with the confusion gone, Arjuna should follow his individual nature and fight this war. If we stick to the message of Karma Yoga, we dedicate all actions to Brahman, then we will be able to have the strong conviction that will contain no resentment about the supreme influence of this practice - which is liberation. These individuals will face no negative karmic reactions. Sri Krishna warns us of the people that don't practice the Gyana that he has given of Karma Yoga and the results of this is pure confusion. Sri Krishna tells us about how knowledge cannot change the tendencies we have gained from previous lives, they are now our nature. Sri Krishna wants us to follow our own inherent nature and that it is better to die than become the copy of someone else. In this episode, The Bearded Mystic Podcast discusses the 3rd chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, specifically verses 22 - 26. Sri Krishna guides Arjuna that despite the fact he has no compulsion to act and there is nothing for him to attain, yet he still acts in the world. We all must follow the example of Sri Krishna - we must act in the world, with detachment, knowing full well that we are the Supreme Being - Brahman, Pure Awareness. If Krishna refused to act, then human beings would do this and it would bring great harm to the balance of this Earth, to the devas. Shri Krishna is giving us an insight into the future if we do not act as enlightened beings. If we act according to our suffering, then we will cause a great extinction on this planet. Shri Krishna wants Arjuna and all of us to understand that we are karma yogis who are not to be attached to any self-serving outcome. And say if we do have to act for own benefit, then we must also keep in consideration the greater well-being of all beings in this universe We do not tell others what to do, but we show others how to perform actions with unselfishness through our own personal example. This is the best way to show someone enlightened living! “We do not see things as they are; we see them as we are... We have less control over our destiny than we think... The harder we look the less we see; by looking less, we see more."I have never finished a conversation feeling so enlightened and in awe of an individual's charisma and aura than I did on this week's episode of The Red Light Report with Dr. Jacob Israel Liberman. Not only is Dr. Liberman an optometrist and a leading authority in the domain of "external" light that we associate the sun and red light therapy with, but he is also a sage, thoughtful guru as it pertains to our "inner" light. In this episode, Dr. Liberman shares some amazing anecdotes on how he helped heal the vision of his patients decades ago with unique tactics that he developed and still uses today, such as human homeopathy and color homeopathy. He clarifies was it actually means to be present, what pure awareness looks like, the battle between the conscious and unconscious mind, what it means to live a full-spectrum life and more... Dr. Jacob Israel Liberman is a pioneer in the fields of light, vision and consciousness and has been enthusiastically endorsed by luminaries in the fields of health, science, and spirituality from Deepak Chopra and Bruce Lipton to Eckhart Tolle and also the author of Light: Medicine of the Future, Take Off Your Glasses and See and Luminous Life. Dr. Liberman earned a doctorate in optometry from Southern College of Optometry and a PhD in vision science from the College of Syntonic Optometry. He received the H.R. Spitler Award for his contributions to the field of phototherapy and has invented numerous light therapy devices, including the first FDA-cleared medical device to significantly improve overall visual performance. A respected public speaker, Dr. Liberman shares his scientific and spiritual discoveries with audiences worldwide. This episode is a profound, thought-provoking discussion from the heart that will be sure to change the way you perceive light and yourself.
